*EDITED REVIEW* See below. I found out about Ginter's through a Jeep Wrangler PA Facebook page. One of their mechanics Zach is a member of the group and recommended Ginter's and I'm glad he did. I brought my Jeep in to get a double din head unit and rear back up camera installed. I dropped the Jeep off at 10:30 am and it was finished by 2:00 pm. The installation by Steve was great and he even took the time to show me some of the features of the new head unit and connected my iPod Touch to system for me via Bluetooth. I appreciated the time and the cost for the installation was reasonable. My only small critique is the price Ginter's wanted to charge me for a cable I needed for my Jeep's amplified system. The price quoted for the cable was $150 which to me was not reasonable at all for a cable. I contacted Jeep and got the part number required for the install. I then purchased the cable I needed for $40 on Amazon. This is the only reason why I rated them a 4 instead of a 5. Nevertheless, I have some additional electrical upgrades to do in the future on the Jeep and I trust Steve at Ginter's to install them for me. I recommend this place. *EDIT* After Ginter's responded and I had a few hours to reflect, I have decided to edit this review to offer more context. First, as I ended my initial review, I would recommend this business. I am happy with the level of customer service and the installation that Steve provided for this head unit/rear camera install. Second, I failed to mention that I also asked Steve to tighten up both of my front fenders since they were missing a bolt which he did at no charge. This again was appreciated and the reason why I'm upgrading my review from a 4 to a 5. Third, I am pro-small business and I understand the importance of small businesses to our economy so I want to make sure my review accurately reflects my experience with the company. I plan to bring my Jeep back next week to have Steve install the Jeep Badge Glow Medallion, the cable for the steering wheel control, and have him install the Carobotator J-Pro digital dash in the future. Finally, as stated above, my only slight critique was the price of the cable. Other than that, this experience was great! I hope this updated review helps! ~T

Great crew to work with! I brought my truck in for both bodywork and upgrades. They thoroughly explained all the work and options I was looking at, so no surprise charges or bait-and-switch nonsense. They got the off-road bumpers and suspension set up perfectly, and the body repairs were excellent. I'll definitely be returning for future repairs and upgrades! Honest guys that stand behind their good work.

Made an appointment 10 days in advance (which is much longer than other shops). Work did not start on the day of the appointment, they waited until the next day to even look at the car. Then they didn't look at the issue that I brought the car in for, and only did the inspection. Told them to not do any work and I would take the car elsewhere. I was able to take it in for work the next day at a different shop.

These guys are good! Just to note, I am their website/graphic designer. I have been working with Brian Ginter for over 3 years and I have personally recommended many friends to his shop. They have all been treated with fantastic, prompt, and affordable service. I have also personally seen the quality of work they produce on many occasions. I can say that Ginter's Auto is a very valued client/friend of mine and they are fantastic to work with. I will absolutely vouch for their service! UPDATE: Just took my car in for repairs after a slight mishap. My boys had my car back within 48 hours! They also took some extra time to buff out some scratches and tune her up! I can't say enough about these guys!!

I highly recommend Ginter's. My experiences with the shop has been overwhelmingly positive. I find that Brian, Adam, and the crew will give you an unbiased, professional assessment of the situation with your vehicle. On my first visit, they evaluated an older vehicle that had failed inspection elsewhere and took the time to help me understand why it wasn't worth making a significant investment to repair-which surprised me.They could've simply done what I asked without any regards to the impact on my wallet. That first visit left such a good impression that I now bring all of my vehicles to Ginter's for inspections, maintenance and repairs. I appreciate their willingness to work with you and give you straight answers about your car.

Brian, Adam and Frank did another great job on my car. We got struck by a deer back on Thanksgiving and there was subsequent damage that was unscene on the car. I called 2 days ago about brakes and rotors they told me the service advisor was busy. So I gave them my name and number only to get a call today and no one talks to me only silence. We'll I guess silence is golden ill definitely look elsewhere for a service center. If you think I'm reaching back out I'm not doing that if you feel it was a phone issue you could have tried again. Since my daughter knew Brian before he got his shop and was working out of garage was why I figured i would reach out in the first place

On December 8, 2022, I went to Ginters with a 5-star expectation regarding custom car work. Unfortunately, on 23 January 2023 I left with a half a star experience. The following is a brief explanation outlining my experience. December the manager/owner had a conversation about the potential modifications and work to be completed. He explained to me the difficulty of the task and hours of work that would be involved. I agreed to the terms and provided half of the money down, from the beginning I made it clear money was not an issue. I assumed upon agreement, and half the money down that this would be a relatively easy task for a garage that consistently works on custom cars for a living. I was not led to believe this job was out of the scope for their abilities. The following was the work agreed upon 1. Replace old spoiler with new spoiler on the trunk. 2. Replace and paint the front bumper with a replica that required some modifications. I’m a car fanatic, my car is a show car which has won many awards over the years of showing. I have high standards/ expectations on any type of work done on my car. I stopped by every week to see progress. I did however notice some weeks they didn’t touch the car at all. As Time went by, they realized an issue with the grill not fitting properly. We discussed the issue and the way forward, and they were given the green light to move forward with the solution decided upon. Again, I went back at the end of the week, and noticed nothing was done. They came up with excuses of why my car wasn’t being worked on. It would appear they prioritized insurance work over custom work. Fast forward to the middle of January I decided to pull my car out of the shop and told them to just complete the trunk and forget about the bumper. When I picked up my car I inspected their work, and immediately noticed the spoiler was not mounted properly. (See pictures of fitment) I brought it to their attention. I tried to explain and have them watch some videos on YouTube that shows different ways to install the spoiler. They told me that they will investigate it and call me back. Two weeks have passed, and no one has attempted to contact me. Other car enthusiast immediately noticed the poor work. I took it to two different garages, and they immediately noticed the bad work as well. Now I have wait approximately 3 months for another shop to have an opening to fix their poor work. As I stated money was never an issue, I just wanted a 5 Star experience for two tasks that we agreed upon, instead I walked away with a bill of $1,708.00 for a job that I call PPP. (Piss poor performance). I was charged $100 for double-sided tape. I have never seen 3M double sided tape cost that much. Anyone who needs any type of custom work or modifications done to their car, I would not recommend Ginters at all.

Can't think Ginters for an amazing job on my hood decal. I wasn't sure what to do and they gave me alot of ideas to choose from. Their expertise is amazing and I was very happy with the outcome of my decal. It really gives my Explorer a different look. I will definitely be back if I need additional work done. I have Had several great experiences with Ginters auto service. Came into Ginter’s Auto Shop after I tore part of my front engine splash shield from the snow. The minute I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, and they suggested I get it looked at before it got any worse. Brian put me at the top of the list, and the technician (I think it was Matt) took my car back, fixed it up with some clips, and had me back on the road in no time.
