Awesome service. I needed a tire patched, and realized i never got my lug lock back from my previous tire place. I agreed to pay for removal for two. They said it was so easy to get off, they removed all 4 at no charge. Very friendly and decent price.

I had two flat tires in a row, after recently buying all new tires and getting ripped off on my road hazard warranty somewhere else, and I'm so glad I came to Karl's Downtown! They have been beyond helpful and kind, including helping make sure we got our 5 year old to swim class on time! They were ridiculously considerate of my situation, and helped me work through the problems until we found the best solution for us and my budget. They made sure we are safe, and we are now covered by warranty, and I wouldn't want to take my car anywhere else. Joe and Richard are the best. Thank you Karl's!

I truly cannot say enough good things about Karl's. We learned of Karl's because they are a Carmax warranty partner. My daughter has used them for warranty work before and they were so good for her. She has also used them for oil changes and tire issues since because she is so impressed with them. They gave her a ride on one of the days and had a loaner vehicle for her for one of the repairs that was going to take longer, which was so helpful for her and practically unheard of for shops anymore. The warranty allows for a rental but not until after the diagnosis is complete, so the loaner was very helpful for her. I recently came to Wichita to buy a vehicle for my son. We found one at a small dealership, but wanted to get it checked out before we bought it. I thought of Karl's and gave them a call to see if they might be able to look at it. They squeezed it in even though it was close to their closing time and gave it a VERY thorough inspection, putting it up on the rack and going over everything carefully. They then had us come out to the bay and showed us everything they found. This was amazing because it helped me understand everything. He explained it in a way that even someone who knew absolutely nothing about cars could understand. Then they documented everything for me to take back to the dealership. They did all this for a very small charge. Most places would have charged way more for as thorough as they were. I was able to take this written documentation back to the dealership and get them to agree to fix the items that Karl's found. Because they were fixing them in house at the dealership, we then took the vehicle back to Karl's after the fact for them to verify that the work was done properly. Again, they did an extremely thorough job with only a very small fee. There was one item on the list that the dealership had not done. Not only did Karl's document this for me, they printed out a sheet with a photo of the part needed, looked up the part number that needed to be ordered, hand wrote the part number on the printout, and let me know the price of the part to tell the dealership. When I got back to the dealership, they had originally misunderstood what was needed, so the printout was EXTREMELY helpful and allowed them to order the part and get it on while I was still in town that day. Karl's went so above and beyond what they had to and did it happily with a smile on their face. I trust them implicitly and they will get every bit of my family's business any time we need anything done while in the Wichita area. You absolutely cannot go wrong using them for your vehicle needs.

These guys saved my bacon on vacation. Came out from my hotel to find my truck with a flat tire on the very last leg of my trip home. These guys opened just a little bit early and came in to work a little bit early to help fix the flat. They were very nice and I wouldn't have gotten home on time without them.

Thanks to Joe the owner and his knowledgeable certified mechanics my older model car is still running fine after 11yrs. I can get in anytime I call whether an emergency or routine car needs. They keep you informed on the process of the work being done. Their always ready to help, I will continue to go to Karl's Goodyear for all my auto needs. Joe the owner is the best and always greets you with a smile. They will even provide you with a ride to your destination if needed and pick you back up when your car is ready.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The overall degree of knowledge, along with the no-pressure attitude made me very willing to have my vehicle serviced there. They do all types of service at a great price and when I asked them to check on a noise I have been hearing, they reported back with what the trouble was and never pressured me if I wanted it repaired. This place is a joke. They did 2 or maybe 3 alignments and didn't get any of it right. They were guessing on what's wrong with my car. IT STILL SHAKES BY THE WAY. And the manager at this location has a smart mouth. When he ask questions it's a game question. If you wanted to know if I just put 4 brand new tires in ask that not play around with a question but then you got an attitude. I would of yelled at you JOE but my daughter was with me and she gets scared with yelling. Never will come here again. It's not a guessing game when it comes to 2 people's lifes.

I had my truck towed to Karl's after an accident driving back to Nebraska. If I could rate them negative stars, I would. I was recommended this shop by my warranty company website. My car was overheating, so I called Karl’s Tire and I was told over the phone that they could get it in right away. I took it in and they were unable to replicate the issue on the first day, but diagnosed it as thermostat. I was told the next day (Saturday), that they drove it to another location to get a part, it overheated on the way, and the new diagnosis was a water pump and it would be done on Monday. I called Monday and they had the job approved under warranty and it would be ready on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday, still not done, it would be Wednesday. I called again on Wednesday, I was told that it wasn’t a priority for them to get it done because they don’t make any money on warranty work. I didn’t get my car back until Thursday, yet another day from when they said it would be ready. I am out $150 in paying for rides because, even though my warranty company will pay for a rental, they kept telling me it would be ready “tomorrow,” so getting a rental would have been pointless, if that had been true. They LIED to me day after day after day. When I finally got my car back, they tacked on another $75 above what I was told it would be “for shop materials,” however failed to provide me any kind of receipt or invoice itemizing what those were. I was given no paperwork at all for the repair. If they don’t want to do warranty work, then they shouldn’t be partnering with warranty companies. You absolutely should not be trusting these people with your car.

Karls tire has had my car for two weeks. It took them 8 days to repair a brake booster. When we went to pick it up, all of the brake lights are on, so they say they need to order a ABS sensor. . It’s been another week, and they still have not even ordered the part. It has been five working days, and the part is still in my vehicle. My warranty company needs an estimated date of completion to authorize the rental and we’ve tried all week to get that information and they haven’t given them one still.. My husband has been there, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. They still haven’t pulled the part. Bottom line my car has been there for two weeks because my initial problem was under warranty at their shop. They aren’t even working on it. Do not go to this place. They don’t care about your warranty, I don’t even believe they have a qualified mechanic to work on my vehicle. When I first called them, they told me they were two mechanics down. And if JOE gives you the runaround you might want to document like we’ve done. Take pictures, stop up at the shop… Every day this week my husband stopped by the shop and there was no movement. Joe kept telling him that they had other cars to work on, that it was hard to get to the part etc.. The same excuses I heard when I called. The shop does not prioritize any warranty work. Two weeks without my vehicle and still no completion date for us.
