I went to multiple other mechanics to include the dealer and they gave me a diagnosis that was found to be incorrect at Woody’s. They found the true issue, got the parts in 2 days, and saved me $700 plus a lot of heartache. They also monitored my truck for the day to ensure the repairs were effective. I have had my vehicle back for a week with zero issues. It’s actually running smoother than before I had the issues. Phenomenal service, consistent updates, honest diagnosis. $120 for nothing…Took my accord here for a diagnostic on an engine noise and hose leak. I asked for a service tech to come listen to the noise and showed him the hose that appeared to be leaking. When asked if they would be able to determine the issues in the diagnostic fee I was assured they would. Instead they called me and said they didn’t know what the noise was and noted a hose leak - duh. Wanted to charge me an additional $97 to “clean and diagnose” the leaking hose. They also suggest a number of add ons due to age of the vehicle without knowing or verifying what’s been done previously. They have another location and I received quotes that differed by several hundreds of dollars but they are the same company? Lots of miscommunication at this location. Reason for the 2 star is because they did take $10 off the normal $130 diagnostic because they didn’t do anything.

Just took my 2006 dodge charger rt into woody's automotive for a simple diagnosis they made me buy a new battery to put in because it was not starting at first they gave me the car back not cranking or starting the same way it was they overpriced me so much 785$

At the time of service they were asked if electrical technician was available an my car was dealing with parasitic battery draw an was running fine UNTIL DROP OFF now it's a no crank no start from diagnosis machine reader and had to be TOWED AWAY and still was charged 500.00 and car DOES NOT run after the fact can anyone help me make sense of all this cause 500.00 for nothin but a bigger Problem.

After I posted this review I received calls from both the owner and manager who are committed to making things right. I'm going to take my car in next time I need service. Here's the original review which hopefully reflects an isolated bad experience: I want to support local, neighborhood businesses, but Woody's was disappointing. We took our car in to fix a sensor and change the oil. They wanted $78.00 to pressure test the cooling system because the overflow tank was empty. We declined, but they didn't even bother to top off the coolant or windshield washer fluid. Jiffy Lube does more for half the price.

I've been trying to find a good auto shop the entire time I've lived here and Wichita and without a doubt Woody's has been my best experience. I went in for a minor issue, which they solved for me, but they also went out of their way to tell me other things I need to be aware of going forward with my vehicle. They made sure I understood what they were saying and made it very clear to me. All the staff were extremely friendly and respectful. Thanks ya'll. I will be back.
