Five stars for Gordies!! The team there saved me hours of self diagnostic work, pinpointing the problem, plus had the issue with my truck fixed over a week before the scheduled completion date. As a former mechanic and current engineer I speak very highly of the speed, accuracy, communication and skill the entire staff. From the moment I called inquiring about having it looked at till I picked up my truck they were nothing but superb. Could not be happier with my experience. My truck has never run better, it runs flawlessly.

This place has all the classic signs of a clip joint. I called for a straight forward estimate on getting a radiator replaced on an F150. I k ow the radiator was leaking and really needed nothing else. I was informed when I called that they could not give me an estimate for just a radiator unless I brought the truck in and they could run a diagnostic on it first. This is how they clip you charge you for a diagnostic fee then hit you with a high price hoping you feel stuck and don't go down the street to the next shop. I'm not being held up by them. I called around and found a shop 1/2 mile away that quoted out the price and had the job done in a day.no hassles no headache. I would never use a shop that operates like this. This was the second time I considered using them and the second time I didn't. The first time I needed a head gasket and was told they don't do major engine work. I wish they would quit sending out all their junk mailers.

I had my car serviced at Gordie's in Chesterfield on May 7, 2025 & couldn't be happier with the work they did on my car. Nora at the front desk was so helpful with the process & answered all my questions. I brought my car in for an oil change & a few other things done to my car. The auto technicians that worked on my car did a very thorough job even texted me pictures of what should be replaced. They even noticed I had a problem with my rear windshield wiper blade & fixed it. I will definitely be back.

This place is the best. Friendly service and quality workmanship. You can always find a hack that will do the work for less money but is it really worth it. I don’t think so. Never a worry when the work is done at Gordies. I just wanted to say those 2 gals you have working the front desk are beyond fantastic I had a leak in my tire. Limped in to your place around 6 am. Left the car and keys in the drop box. Went back to the shop at 8 and asked if that tire could be repaired as soon as possible as I had a huge amount of things to get done. She said probably that afternoon as they were swamped. I came back at around 9 to get something out of the car and much to my surprise the car was done what a great feeling. You all are tops

Gordie's up their prices because we are black owned and operated transportation service. Gordie's did not evaluate the truck before asking more money for the service, they seen our skin color and the price went up again.

After having an alignment on my vehicle at the Golling Roseville dealership, I knew my car wasn't fixed. I had the flyer for Gordie's and decided to give them a shot. I was beyond impressed by the thoroughness of their vehicle inspection. They fixed the problem that I had already paid for at the dealership and gave me a readout of before and after the improvements. Gordie's before matched up with the after from Golling. Golling said that they couldn't make it better. So I still had a shimmy. What a difference to have a smooth ride after Gordie's did the work! I will now rely on Gordie's for all of my car repairs and maintenance!!! Update: When making an appointment with Gordie's it does not mean they will be able to work on the vehicle right then. Ì went on a Friday morning and was asked to make an appointment for Monday at 11 am to drop my car off. When I took my car in on Monday I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of hours. That others had come in for "quick fixes". They wanted me to drop off my car, but I had things to do to prepare for a medical procedure that I would be having on the upcoming Friday. Disappointing.

*-( please read until the end because I explain why I will never go back-$$$$$ I have a Ford F-150 - Went in because 2 hose are leaking coolant. I also explained the truck never overheated. I also gave them 200$ because said inspection is 150. (Was expecting them to fix said truck)💲 When the call was received they said the truck is overheating with a thermostat and both hoses 2,000. Truck was not overheating, it never has , I ask how much just to do the hoses, they say 1,100. Both hoses together cost less then 300. The hoses are on top of the motor, meaning nothing is obstructing the way. So that means 800 worth of labor for something that takes no longer then 20min worth of labor. Each hose has two claps it's on top of the motor. My husband says just to get the truck he can fix it he just didn't want to because it's 20 degrees outside (he was willing to do 600) This is why I will never return. I call the office to say I will pick the truck up. They say I owe a service fee. I said no I gave you 200 when I arrived. When I walk into the office I did not receive the welcome service that I did when they thought they were going to fix my truck. The key was placed on the counter and not in my hand but the kicker is I was supposed to be getting 50 back but they said my coolant was so low they had to fill it. (It was full, it's been full for 3 days) I get 4.27 placed on the counter and not in my hand. Then the receipt was placed on the counter and the gentleman just turned around. . I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unfortunately I'm new to the area & looking for a decent mechanic. For the manager or owner reading this please don't try to say I have a problem with the cost like I've seen on multiple 1⭐ post. Just do better as a business you are on the border of Roseville & Warren, we work hard but we aren't millionaires. When parts cost less then 300 and labor is 800 for a 20 min job. Do better

After having my car stuck in flooding Gordie's helped to make an extremely stressful time less daunting. They have an overnight drop box for keys which was convenient since my car broke down outside of business hours. When they called me first thing the next morning, they set clear expectations for cost as well as how long the process would take. Joel was incredibly patient while I made decisions on next steps and took the time to walk me through what the process of working with the insurance company would entail. I am grateful for the time and energy they put into my vehicle. I will absolutely be referring others to them.

I had gone to them a few times in the last two years. The first couple times seemed great! One time, I rolled on my rim with a flat to them because they were close by. They "took care of it" and I was so grateful at the time. I recently found out that apparently, when they changed my tires out, they used the wrong bolts. The inside of my tires had been getting worn down and I didn't know until they tore and I ended up with another flat. This was after paying way more than I had anticipated and now I'm buying a new set of back tires in less than 2 years!!! In between getting the new tires and finding out about this, I had another terrible experience with them. Last December, they literally forgot they had my car for two and a half weeks, even when I called multiple times, they kept lying about "it'll get done today" and two more days would go by. I don't care about a long timeline, but setting proper expectations is essential. My household only has one car so not knowing when I'd get it back sucked. I wanted to let it go, but between this and the botched alignment, I'm livid. TL;DR: There are less expensive places with more integrity nearby that will treat you right. This place is not worth it.

Extremely disappointed. I took my car here after my breaks had started making a grinding noise. I wanted to get everything fixed before my kids started school. I paid for the brake inspection and repairs. I was told my back brakes were fine, and it was just the front. Ok, got new brake pads and rotors. My car has continued to make a grinding noise ever since. We took it back after two weeks, and they said nothing was wrong. A month and a half later and the noise is only getting worse. I have never taken a car anywhere, paid as much as I did for a repair and continued to have the same issue it was fixed for.

the woman that helped me was very nice. The technicians seemed very knowledgeable. Though they didn’t fix my issue on the first visit they made it right and nailed it the second time with no out of pocket to myself. They were fast, friendly and effective. Recommended. I do recommend checking your car thoroughly after receiving it back to make sure it’s properly fixed, they don’t seem to really test / verify their work sometimes (only negative), so just be aware of it but honestly they were awesome to us. Even worked with our third party warranty company which I greatly appreciate.

Since our last visit, everything has worked out fine. The car got me back and forth from point A to point B. All front and rear calipers, rotors, and pads replacement work done at Gordy's A.& T. held up. The car rolled smoothly with no drifting, and it stopped sharply and straight when required.
