I’ve been a regular customer here for years. And I have to admit the front desk guy Keith has been consistently super uber ridiculously obnoxiously rude. The worst customer service. Ever. The rest of the guys that work here are awesome. But that front guy is just awful. And I pulled up a coupon online that says $9 off …their specific store and address…and he would not honor it… Because of a little piece of paper that he printed out that says we don’t honor coupons. But right online there’s a nine dollar coupon. So if you were having a good day and you just want it tainted by someone who will consistently be rude to you, stop by the good old grease monkey on baseline. I absolutely love the guys at work there… But I’m done coming back and dealing with this black hole of negativity

Update: they didn’t tighten filter to spec for a turbo. I returned to have them tell me there’s an oil leak on the oil cooler. Mechanic at Mountain Auto has it sorted right away, go there. Wind whipped old oil from the filter onto it making it appear that way, so I can’t discredit them completely. Still cost an extra trip to a real mechanic. For a quick oil change, solid service the price is right & 20 minutes in and out. No attitude when I told them I'd be using my own oil/filter. Only charged for the bay fee and wouldn't take a tip. They’ve got experience just too many customers at once that things slip through the cracks. You get what you pay for.

Wow, if their vehicle service is anything like their customer service, stay clear of this place! I called to see if I had time to get a Transmission service and was met with hostility and was told they would have to look at it. If I was having mechanical issues the last place i would go is an oil change spot. Really they just try to upsale you on overpriced service.

Friendly, efficient, honest, and extremely well done service. I was road tripping through Colorado and Tim was able to give me an oil change in twenty minutes, during which time he also showed me I had an antifreeze leak. He even helped me out on the phone a few days later when I called him for another few questions. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Five stars.

Most expensive oil change I've ever had (by about $30), with no additional services added. Person ringing me up was curt, rude, and didn't look at me once while talking to me - seemed like I was an annoyance to him. Any question I had was rushed through and answered shortly. I was actually going there with the intention of adding on several other services, but due to the impatient nature of the person I dealt with, decided against it. While the oil change was very fast (30 minutes), I will not be back due to prices and customer service. I don't expect bells and whistles here, but I do expect that I'm treated like I'm a valued customer.

Excellent service and value. Came in for an oil change and Chad rotated my tires and put in a new oil pan screw. He fixed my wheel vibration and sweaky brakes all for such a great price! I will definitely back. Got great advise on where to buy new tires too!!!

Good price and fast! I came in at 1030 on a Wednesday and they immediately took the keys and started working on my car. I had my oil changed, windshield wipers replaced, and tail light replaced. They were quick and polite, and gave me their advice without pushing me to buy anything. Definitely coming back every time I need basic work done.

I seldom ever have to wait in line for service, their station is available for most days. They're honest and tend to work on my car above and beyond. I have never had an issue with any of the employees or service. They're down the street from my house and affordable. Not only have I received an oil change but they offer lightbulb and windshield change/install services for an affordable fee. I will only use see to it that my Durango gets serviced here only :)

**LADIES THIS IS A SAFE SPACE** Please checkout this location. I came to replace my battery only to be told HONESTLY I didn’t need that yet. Tim took time out of his day to help me out, and didn’t take advantage due to my utter lack of car knowledge. I cannot state how nice it felt to be talked to and educated without any judgment or belittling.I couldn’t tell you the last year I’ve had such a pleasant experience at an automotive shop. This is by far the best place to get an oil change in the Boulder area. Fast, timely service combined with transparent and reasonable pricing makes this an easy recommendation. Even though I only needed an oil change, they checked all my belts and fluid levels, topped off my windshield wiper fluid (without up-charging me), and even wiped down my windows and vacuumed the floor mats. That attention to detail really sets Grease Monkey apart from other places in the area (**cough cough** Jiffy Lube **cough cough**). I will definitely be returning here next time I need work done on my car.

Keith and his crew are fantastic. Came in for an oil change and they took the time to walk me through what was wrong with my car, gave me honest answers to my questions, and then showed me how to check on my fluid levels. I love this place! I have been going here since I moved to Boulder a year and a half ago and have always had a great experience. The guys are very personable and don't really ever try to sell you things you don't actually need. $60 for an oil change and they top off windshield wiper fluid, check your battery, check your tires and windshield wipers, and even vacuum the floor and wipe windows! I can't say enough good things about these guys. Take your car here!

Updating my review which is really unfortunate! I came here to get an oil change because of my experience with Dave’s help. My Toyota has almost 300k miles on it so I use a full synthetic high mileage oil. I went in and told the guy at the desk that was what I wanted, and he acted like I had two heads and told me that full synthetic high mileage oil doesn’t exist. He debated me back and forth for a bit until I pulled up some examples on my phone. Super strange interaction because he either 1) doesn’t know much about cars or 2) thinks women wouldn’t know this, or a little bit of both. I left. I attached some photos of full synthetic high mileage oil. Out of pure human goodness, Dave helped me get a too-tight oil cap off so that I could top off my car’s oil. Not as part of any service, just as a nice human! I haven’t been to Grease Monkey, but I will definitely be choosing them for my oil changes going forward. Thanks Dave!
