I had the transmission go out on my 2012 Jetta. Had it towed to one place that said it would be $7000 to fix, which exceeded the value of the car and was more than I paid for it. With used car prices what they are now, I was not willing to give up on it. A friend recommended East Side Trans to me so I had the car towed there. Dave worked with me and told me what my options were, what could potentially be wrong with it and what it would take to fix. Since I like car a lot I was willing to put in some extra effort to get it fixed but didn't want to break the bank on it. They understood what I wanted and did a extremely through diagnostic and found that it was not the transmission at all but just the clutch which had broken - a rare thing to happen but repairable none the less and for considerably less than what I was expecting. They did the repairs and got me on the road for about $4800 less than the first place. They are busy so they might take a bit longer but that's because they are so good and do great work. I can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic service doesn’t begin to cover how good these guys are. They did excellent work for me and there was absolutely no attempt to upsell me on services I didn’t need. Absolutely amazing staff and amazing service. Not only are they willing to explain in detail what they’re going to do for you but more importantly they’re willing to take the time to genuinely listen to you and discuss your concerns with your vehicle. 100/10 I will definitely be back next time I need more work done. You guys are amazing and I hope you keep up the good work. Special thanks to lazlo for treating my suburban like the special vehicle she is in my eyes.

I was over charged. I also had a mechanic tell me he could fix my vehicle for $10,000. I would buy a new car before that happened. I would not trust them with your vehicle. I had new tires put on in July 2021 . I went there to get the tires, balanced and aligned. In 2023 they told me my tires were bad. They never rotated any of the tires through all of my oil changes from 2021 to 2023. Then they overcharged me on the new tires was given a quote for $850 came out to $1100. The same mechanic that can fix my vehicle also said a little too much. The companies alignment broke in 2020 so he said they couldn’t have done the alignment. Run!!

They were so great! Got me in when I needed. Were super honest over the phone and in person! My vehicle was old with very high miles and instead of telling me I needed to spend a ton of money to fix it to their advantage, they were very real with me about the fact her days were numbered. Ryan and his team did an excellent job replacing a transmission on my 07 Toyota Avalon. Although the price is a hard pill to sallow, they used only certified rebuilt transmissions with a 3 year or 100k miles warranty. I also had my exhaust repaired and some new tires swapped while I was biting the bullet. Once I received my car back, wondering where my money went, I fired her up and was amazed by how smooth she drove. I could have sworn she was a different car now. The gears shifted smoother than a Sade song and faster than when I first bought her. She was now more quiet, faster and recovered most of her original mpg. Can’t recommend this shop enough and if you have a car that is higher mileage, that has been taken care of. I would say it is worth its weight in gold getting those big billed items taken care of.

I asked them to check why my 17 year old Buick wouldn't start, and let me know if it was worth fixing. They said it needed a grand worth of engine work and it had some rust. I paid it because it's a great old car. A few days later, I had it checked by a body shot. They told me it was so badly rusted that it was unsafe to drive. Instead of warning me about the extent the damage the charged me to fix an undriveable vehicle.

The work the service everything was great and then weeks later I can’t get off your darn mailing list. Why did you put me on mailing list? I was promised no mailing list I gave you my email so we could do personal contacts not put me on emails and mailing list total turnaround their flyby night Chesters I went to Woodmans and they gave me a printout on my oil change that said I had a transmission leak moderate the people who put it in for $4000 said they were too busy to look at it so I went to another great water called DiMaggio dropped it off two days later, and they never bothered to look at it so I am here. I am with a moderately leaking transmission, great water garages acknowledged that it was their fault and I still can’t get warranty out of of them. This is a nightmare. Don’t ever do this. These people don’t ever go there.

Took my pickup here for diagnosis and repair for an issue with my backup camera not working and the truck not staying in reverse. I was told the shifter cable just needed adjustment and that it may need to be replaced. An adjustment was made which initially appeared to correct the issue. On my way home with the vehicle, the same issue occured again. I drove it to Advance Auto and they checked for any error codes. An error code of P0705 was found which indicates a neutral safety switch as the primary issue. I replaced the neutral safety switch assembly and it is now fixed. Seems like maybe the diagnosis was rushed and the estimate to replace the shifter cable was quite high, which was not even the issue. So I never went back to discuss what I found.
