Beyond excited for my new vehicle purchase, yet I didn’t expect it to be the most stressful and disappointing experience I’ve had with a dealership. I’ll start by saying this was my fourth time purchasing a brand-new vehicle—and the most expensive one to date—and unfortunately, it was also the most frustrating experience I’ve had. My experience was marred by poor customer service and a series of avoidable issues. While I’m pleased with the vehicle itself, the customer service I received created unnecessary stress from beginning to end. Despite repeated setbacks and broken promises, I remained optimistic and cooperative throughout my interactions with the salesman—a level of patience and resilience that many customers likely wouldn’t have maintained. Communication was poor, and I often felt like I was chasing answers rather than being supported. It’s unfortunate that such a major purchase was overshadowed by a lack of professionalism and care. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and improves how they treat future customers. Timely communication, transparency, and attention to detail are critical in building trust and satisfaction. I recognize that mistakes happen, and while the salesman did offer a verbal apology, it felt insufficient considering what I experienced throughout every step of the process. Below are just a few points that contributed to my dissatisfaction: • Multiple promises that were not fulfilled • During the financing paperwork review, I noticed the VIN had changed from the original agreement. This was never communicated to me, and I hadn’t seen any photos or specs of the vehicle secured from another LR dealership. • After signing paperwork and completing my trade-in before my vehicle arrived, the dealership provided a one-day loaner. Unfortunately, the loaner was poorly maintained—despite having only 5,000 miles, it had visible trash in the doors, pet hair throughout, and dirty windows and interior. Once my new vehicle was finally delivered, I noticed the rear license plate was missing. The salesman assured me it would be located and overnighted, but 24 hours passed with no update. I had to follow up myself, and only received tracking information after the plate finally arrived 48 hours later. Since this was my only vehicle, I had no choice but to drive it in the meantime—hoping I wouldn’t get pulled over.

I had an amazing experience working with Jared on purchasing my new Range Rover Sport at Land Rover Madison. I bought 100% online, and the process from beginning to end was seamless and incredibly responsive. Jared went above and beyond to make everything easy, and I couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new car!

Evan was incredible! From the whole build process to the finish nearly 5 months later! Super accommodating and knew every possible answer to any question imaginable. Also dealt with my six hour time zone difference for the front bit of this year! 10/10 will be buying another rover from him again!! Service is also fabulous!!

Absolutely amazing!!!!! Sharyn from services was a Joy to work with, she was able to get me scheduled in a short notice and her customer service was amazing. The only flaw during my service was I was unable to get shuttled from one of my appointments to the next so I had to call an uber. This was not on Sharyn because she was gone for the day.

I love the vehicle I bought, I love the service I typically get, but recently my vehicle was kept for a week for diagnosis. I had left all of the specific details with a service Advisor and that info was all lost. And I had to put it all together again. I didn't receive many updates of what was even taking so long. Or why. My vehice detail was not worth the money. I just wanted a vacuum and my windshield cleaned. My windshield was never cleaned. And it looked like they smeared a dirty rag over my gauge cluster. And the outside detail was not great, my rims were never even cleaned. I'm not sure what's happening there, but the service definitely shifted since the last time I had been there. I should have said something right away. But I hate to complain and was just frustrated with the whole experience. And had been without my vehicle for a week, I was not giving it back. It's very difficult to own an extremely comfortable vehicle with adaptive air ride in it and the loner vehicle I got I couldn't even crawl into because it was so large, The defender model. Thankfully, I got another loner, but it just felt every bump in the road. I was also quoted a pretty high amount for getting my brakes fixed. I will have to take it somewhere else. And I keep getting asked to do a survey, so here's my honest opinion.

We were driving to Madison and had a nail in our tire. Luckily we called and Jason told us to bring the car in. They were closing within an hour and it was a Friday. He couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable. We made it in time and the dealership is lovely! He took the best care of us and I HIGHLY recommend this dealership for anyone’s service needs!

Eugen was excellent to work with. I have bought cars from Fields in the past and always go there first when searching for a new car. Great customer service and very accommodating to my schedule.

My experience was disappointing. I paid for an oil change and a int/ext detail. I ended up with an oil change and wash. Mind you they had the car all day. I had to get a lift from someone in Baraboo both days (drop off & pick up). Needless to say, I will find another place to service and detail my vehicle.

I've had high hopes for this establishment after my first visit, but after my 2nd visit, that had all changed. So if you are considering taking your vehicle to this dealership for the first time, please take time to read my review and to reconsider your options, because there is a reason why many fear taking their vehicles directly to the dealership rather than a local mechanic, hence the expression "stealership", because in many ways this is very true. My first visit went great, but I'm sure that was just a way to court me to keep my business. I had my refrigerant changed and they recommended my scheduled maintenance service (which I already anticipated) and for my radiator to be repaired because they happened to discover a leak. This seemed to have made sense because my engine was temporarily overheating at times. So several weeks later, I did schedule this routine scheduled maintenance AND to have my radiator fixed. But to my surprise, they didn't see anything wrong with my radiator but coincidentally discovered an oil pump issue instead (which was not discovered during my initial visit). But I went ahead and had them fix that together with the scheduled maintenance and also advised them that since I swapped out my wheels recently, I needed my TPM sensors to be relearned since it was throwing an error code. Fast forward, when I picked up my vehicle and paid the extraordinary fee, I started driving and immediately my TPM sensors were throwing me the same code. I thought they had reprogrammed my sensors, because that was clearly written in my invoice that they had. But no, they simply just cleared the error code. So I headed back to the dealership to explain all this and they treated me as if I was inconveniencing them for bringing it back and only to tell me that it is a bigger issue than the TPM sensors just being bad. So they didn't fix that issue. So when I had left again, several miles later, my vehicle threw P0042 code (fault in my bank1 sensor3 02 sensor) AND my engine was still temporarily overheating, AND to make it worse, my passenger windshield wiper was completely gone. The next day, I messaged them and explained why was I having all these issues when I just had it serviced with them. They told me that the 02 sensor issue was being triggered by the radiator leakage? Uhh what? I'm pretty sure I'm not an idiot. Anyhow, they further stated would gladly take my vehicle back and have another look and replace my passenger wiper because they found it lying in the car wash (I mean, why is the tech washing my car not paying attention to these details?) Well sadly, I agreed to bring it back, and had it driven back almost 200 miles which turned out to be a complete waste of time because this time around, they miraculously "discovered" something wrong with my radiator, which they didn't find during my previous appointment but saw it during my initial appointment? AND they didn't even replace my wiper when I arrived to pick it up, even though my invoice stated that they did. And to top it all off, I found grease/dirt smudges on my white interior leather from the mechanics gloves. In short, I declined any additional service because I really don't think this establishment performs their jobs as honestly or proficiently as they are expected to. My invoice may have been with several inaccuracies, because aside from the one I’ve mentioned they also stated they assessed my tries stating it had only 6/10 tread depth all the way around. These were new tires, so if anything 10/32 at minimum. Either they just copy and paste from other invoices because they don’t appear to really do honest assessments and that they may think most of us don't have any automotive/mechanical knowledge and background, and that's where they fail. Because some of us do... it's just that we don't have the time or possess the heavier equipment to do these fixes ourselves.

Absolutely horrible, I asked them to leave the pin in so my Land Rover could be rolled without it starting it cannot be put in neutral, and of course they pulled it so when the towing company showed up, they had to take care of it on the coldest day of the year, they also left me with a completely dead battery They fixed nothing, and basically just tried to sell me a new car telling me my car was junk with only 140,000 miles all highway miles. I don’t know anybody that would buy another Land Rover if you can only get 140,000 miles out of it and it’s garbage. Paid To have it towed out there to them, and I paid to have it towed to a another mechanic Do not recommend we never do business with this company ever again

I recently worked with Jared and Sean and it was the fastest and friendliest experience I have ever had at a car dealership. They were both very personable and kind. They were also extremely attentive and have made the transition into my new vehicle seamless. Thank you both!

Beautiful dealership. Mike, our salesman, was top notch. We live a fair distance away and could only come after work, and Mike and a manager stayed past closing time to help us try vehicles out. Wonderful experience and it earned them our business.

3 star only because the repairs were completed correctly. I thought a Range Rover dealership would have had better communication and customer service. Less than professional on so many levels. Good thing Milwaukee isn’t too far!

Land Rover Madison has been servicing my L322 Range Rovers the past few years and done an excellent job. Adam has provided very good communication and always keeps me up-to-date on progress. Final service invoicing is always accurate to estimates. Additionally, repair assessments are always fair and accurate. Very pleased with the entire team’s level of service and care. Thank you.
