I have found Guaranteed Automotive and Transmission to be a very thorough and trustworthy mechanic service. While I personally never met them or stepped into their shop they have taken care of my daughter’s car several times over the past few years. Considering I live in NJ and she is a Purdue student it is truly a piece of mind to have them when needed. It is very easy to make an appointment and they are great at keeping you updated on the repair.

Took my newly acquired 1997 F-250 7.3 diesel in for transmission repair. They looked at it and said I could rebuild it or just replace the torque converter and re-seal it. I took the latter option. Great service and repair. Happy with the price. Tom was particularly helpful keeping me informed and updated on the process as it went along. Nothing but good things to say!

My boyfriend and I have used them for various procedures on all our vehicles in the last year or two- a ‘97 4-Runner, a ‘20 Civic, and a ‘14 Mustang GT, they do ‘em all! Not only are they efficient and fairly priced, they’re kind, thorough, and flexible for ever-changing schedules! We both work and I’m a full time student, so it can be difficult to coordinate when to d/o and p/u cars, and they’ve always been super patient with us regarding that. Plus, they have a great Purdue student discount :) Highly recommend!

I brought my newly bought used vehicle to Guaranteed Transmission, some time ago. They performed diagnostics, assessments/advising, repairs and services, and the jobs ranged from basic to complex work - over the course of several visits. Without exception, they showed honesty, real competence, expert knowledge, generous sharing of information, and accurate great/fair pricing. I never felt pressed or compelled to make a hasty decision. Extremely impressed by these guys today after bringing my fiancé’s car in for work. I sat in the waiting room for several hours and listened to all the employees handle customers with grace, honesty, and integrity, something not very common in mechanic shops this day in age. Keep in mind they fit us in short notice and were very clear that they might not get to it for hours. The dealership had the car for over a week and couldn’t properly diagnose the problem but that didn’t stop them from trying to spend our money on unnecessary things. I was thoroughly impressed by the team at Guaranteed Automotive and they will certainly have our business in the future. A huge thank you to Tom and the guys in the shop for valuing my time and wallet, it’s such a relief to see good people treating others how they would want to be treated.
