I was quoted a price of $218 total out the door for a repair but was charged $310 when it was finished. Nothing else was done but they said that the estimate didn't includ supplies needed. Shame on you!!!

I have a 1977 oldsmobile delta 88 and i had called alot of shops to my fix my car to pass smog but they told me we dont work on old cars or we are booked one shop told me we are booked for 6 months i only needed minor work to pass smog so i called gumaro's Auto repair & muffler he took me in on the first call love him for that had my car ready the next day he has expierience/ knowledgeable for my old car i am very happy i recommend i will come here again thanks gumaro

They charged me over 400 dollars to fix my up/down Window switch. They admitted to charging me an extra 40 bucks just for the part. When I questioned the owner about the ridiculous price, he went off on me. Shameful!

They don't even work on my car just look at it once then give and estimate after I have to take it back look at it then give me a second estimate with out working on my truck! Never thought this would happen even i know the owner an his family!

These guys are attentive to detail on fixing your ride a defiant recommendation on some good mechanics! good mechanics arnt cheap an cheap mechanics aren't good . These guys keep it up front an honest about their work Thank you Gumaros for keeping our cars on the road .

Went in there to get a diagnostic on my truck.Got the diagnostic and agreed to a price and they could not fix it at that price. Call me the next day I told me they could not get one part and it would be an additional $300. They agreed to do it at a lower price but could not even get it done right. Pick the truck up the next day the angel light went back on. Went back they said it was totally cleared a cleared it again went back the following day in jin service in July it on again coming up with additional problems

DO NOT take your car here for a smog check. I went in to have my car smog tested a few days ago. Was told my car did not pass smog due to some BS about my Catalytic Converter in my car being backwards? I told them what are you talking about ? They still wanted $41 . I went down the street a few minutes later to another Smog Testing place and it PASSED with no issues found. I went and talked to my mechanic and he said there's no way my catalytic converter was backwards because if it was I would have had issues with emissions and Check Engine light in vehicle would have been on.........Don't get taken by these guys

They said my car didn’t pass the light inspection due to the driving lights not turning on and I could come back when they were working and they wouldn’t recharge me. I spent a lot of money trying to fix the lights and it turns out they were just turned off in the settings and they worked just fine. Went back to get my certificate and they want to charge me full price to start the inspection over.

Was in and out quickly for my smog check. They even pointed out a recall on my truck. Monday I was told is a very busy day and it did take about 20 minutes longer than expected, but this was already pointed out when I arrived. Price was fair. Smog is first come first serve.

I took my car for a new catalytic converter. He charged me $660. & told me I needed a $2500 valve job. I asked for my old catalytic converter. I always ask auto repair shops for my old parts. He told me it was illegal because they have serial numbers on them. I insisted to no avail. I took my vehicle back to my mechanic. He couldn’t do car work because he doesn’t have the welding machine. So he put the machine on my vehicle immediately. We got the same readings. Before I took my vehicle to GUMAROs. He told me to buy my own catalytic converter which I did. & take it to a muffler shop in town. When the muffler Machanic lifted my vehicle. He called me to come look. I had an after market part on my vehicle. Which I replaced years earlier. & a factory part which was supposed to be replaced by GUMARO. I went back to GUMARO and he lied to my face and told me he never said it was illegal to give me my old part and he lied to me about doing the work. I filed a complaint with the AUTOMOTIVE STATE BAR ASSOCIATION. GUMARO said it happened to far back he doesn’t have the records. LIAR & the inspector asked for the recycling receipt and he couldn’t produce that either. The inspector knew he was LYING. It’s such a pathetic thing to do. I’m disabled and of limited income. I HAVENT been able to pay what it takes to get my vehicle on the road. Times are already difficult., I tell everyone I know not to go to this shop.

Do not use for Any sort of business tbe owner is a scammer.. i had my girlfriend bring a perfect condition car on no lights No issues. Brand new suspension. Motor. Trans. Drive shaft. Everything brand new. Brand new big brake kit On a newer car for a brake and lamp inspection Mind you the vehicle was totaled out due to theft no other issues or problems. I have the car fax and proof. The cars chassis has 90k miles. Perfectly straight body not a ding or a light out. I had one small chip on the front windshield on the passenger side top right corner. That is barely visible. Aswell as one of the wheel well plastics were missing. As I am a mechanic i would not recommend this place by any means as I had only taken the vehicle here for state inspection they are scammers customers be aware. They lie about the pricing and with hold information. They simply failed the car for my girlfriend assuming they would be able to take advantage of her and charged her 300$ for a basic vehicle inspection that were told would only be 307$ if we passed. We were told it was 120$ if it failed and later on they back stepped on the 120$ and said it was 300$... even though the car had failed. Sadly I had sent my girlfriend in because it was a car I had built for her. And they chose to try to take advantage of her saying that if they fix it they won't charge her a extra 100$ fee for the retest instead she just pay them for the labor of installing the windshield and replacing the wheel well plastics.... this place is a scam and the owner will be hearing from me in small claims court
