I've been there twice. The first time was because my steering pressure dropped. They pretty much knew instantly that I was just low on steering fluid and filled it up for free. Literally didn't charge me for anything. Months later and that's still working great. Second time, my brake pressure dropped rapidly. They found the leak in about 10 seconds and fixed both sides. Both times were a great experience. Honest, quick, and straightforward.

This shop is wonderful, I’ve taken my car here 3 times for separate occasions and they got my car done in a timely manner. Tim has been very helpful and communicative!! I completely enjoyed this shop. I’ll keep bringing my cars here tbh

They told me I needed a new transmission on my 2018 Toyota with less than 70,000 miles. Thought this was weird especially since my car had no signs of transmission issues. Got a second opinion and it was just the breaks grinding and a loose bearing, which is what I initially suggested. Almost got scammed $7,000. Especially frustrating bc the mechanic was saying how “sorry he was” that this happened.

I had went to fix my car and asked if it was fixable without risk of damage and they assured me that it was I come back a week later my car is completely broken down and not the way I left it atall, I went to there employes to ask about my car and I was cursed out which I have on video, if I can put 0 stars I would

This shop put an reman engine in my car. Seem to run good but 6 months down the line my alternator lines and alternator shorted out and caught fire from them NOT putting the wires out of the way from the exhaust. 4 months later and thousands of dollars later from chasing my tail im on the side of the road broken down after it being revealed to me that ALL of the wiring in my engine from whoever did my engine job was touching and hanging on the exhaust. This is PURE NEGLIGENCE at its finest and could’ve cost me my life from wngine catching fired, could’ve costed me a brand new engine going bad, costed me my coils on back side of engine to go bad and hundreds of dollars to fix what you should have done right the first time. I will never bring my car here again

Hands down I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service!!!!Guys automotive saved me from a horrible situation and I’m incredibly grateful for the work these guys put into helping fix my Jeep. From the beginning.. I ran into a situation where my car would not start and I had no idea why. I googled the closest shop from where I live and I stumbled across a place called Clark’s automotive.. had my car towed there only to be told nothing simple could be fixed on my car ( upon getting the car towed I had suspected my battery was dead or I needed a new starter) Clark’s automotive said no no the car has engine failure and could not be fixed.They recommend I start calling around to junk yards to find someone who would buy the car because it would cost more to fix my 2019 jeep than it’s worth. The situation had me stressed the hell out because I wasn’t given a reason why this could happen or how it could be fixed. Fast forward to the next day.. I called around to a few mechanic shops and one in Tampa suggested I try Guys automotive because they are the only people in town who know how to fix newer cars, especially my make and model. I called Guys automotive and that’s when I spoke to TIM. I told Tim what was going on and asked him if he could take a look at the car for a second opinion. I asked him to be honest and please let me know if he thought my Jeep was fixable. Tim’s exact words were “everything is fixable” let me take a look and let you know what we need to do. When I tell you, his professionalism, follow up and general honesty gave me sooo much relief. When he called me back with a diagnosis he broke down the specifics of what was wrong with my car, he told me what needed to be done, what the cost would be. You could tell he is a experienced mechanic and his motive is not to bullshit people. He made me feel like I could trust him just by simple conversation. I have never met this man but just by talking to him I felt like I was in good hands! The next call I received the next day I was told my car was up and running and guess what.. my engine did not fail! Yes I had some damage and needed new parts that included a new starter, battery and spark plugs but the fact of the matter is they took care of business. Moving forward I will always trust guys automotive- in particular TIM because he made my experience at this shop exceptional and although I live all the way in Riverview I will tow/ drive my car to Guys automotive for service because they are the best! I am just so grateful for what they did to help me!

Terrible experience. This shop is completely unprofessional and careless. I brought my car in with a simple issue, and not only did they fail to fix it, they actually made the problem worse. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff brushed me off and acted like it was no big deal. If you value your time, money, or your vehicle, stay far away from this place.

Tim was amazing! My computer system got fried and they fixed it and also found and fixed the leak in my trunk that had caused the issue. Tim was great at explaining the issue and also explaining what they had done when I picked my car up. The price was a lot less than I expected to pay. My gear panel has never lit up at night so I always had to look at my dashboard to see if I was in drive or reverse, but when I drove my car at night for the first time after getting my car back, the gear panel lit up. They do excellent work. I would definitely bring my car here again.
