2 days before a long road trip, I needed my brakes serviced and brought him the parts. He called me to tell me that my parts wouldn't work, and needed to upsell me on his parts. Then he burned off my cv boots removing the brakes and didn't tell me. I only found out because I was scheduled for an inspection the next day and the inspector was not impressed with Mike's job. I called Mike 15-20 times to rectify and he didn't answer. so I had to pay the inspection station $600 for new cv boots and labor. Mike called back the next day and I ask him to reimburse me for at least 1/2 because of the damage he'd done. He told me: 1. I should have called him to fix it 2. He should have charged me more than his quote because it was hard to do. 3. He wasn't going to pay me back 1/2 of my cost because I already got a "deal" from him. 0/10. Wouldn't recommend.

Gwynn's is not only convenient because it's right down the street from where I live, but it's the only place I will take my car for body work. These guys check everything and go way beyond my expectations, as with previous experiences I have learned not to expect quality service for the quality prices they charge. I don't mind paying the money if my car is really getting the service it needs. 5 Star Business for sure in Syracuse!

I was referred to Gwynns by Walmart’s auto dept. manager. For years I’ve brought them my truck and car problems, and each time they charge considerably LESS than Midas, Goodyear, Installations Unlimited etc. I’m satisfied with the work they’ve done and their paint job came out looking real good. One time they replaced a part that leaked when I got home, I brought it back in and they fixed it, same day and no charge.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Gwynn's automotive is hands down the best auto repair shop in Syracuse. They're efficient, professional, and most importantly, trustworthy. Best of all, you absolutely cannot beat their prices. They have the best rates on parts and labor, and I would be amazed if you find a shop that would give you a better quote on your repair. I will never go to another repair shop, it's Gwynn's or it's nothing!!!

Gwynns Automotive has serviced both my Hot Rod and my Work Truck. The work is always done correctly and with care and expertise. More than that though to me is the fact that Mike Gwynn is a good guy who means well and that's what really keeps me going back.
