There is a reason people say, go to Rudy they are the best. It's absolutely true. The staff there are extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful! I brought my car there due to a car accident and they made a normally extremely stressful process so much easier. Bringing my car to Rudy was the best decision I could have made, I would have been tied up in red tape without them. They do great work and they do it with kindness! 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely recommend to everyone! I am an independent contractor and my car was in desperate need of a lower ball joint and control arm. I called on a Monday and they set my appointment up for 2 days away! They communicated well with me and understand my needs! Thank you Rudy's for taking care of my car! I just wanted to leave a review for Rudy Schmids Total Car Care as they we so excellent from start to finish. Brought my vehicle in to get the bumper replaced from an accident. They made the entire process so easy for me and handled everything from my rental car, to dealing with the Insurance adjuster and all the financial end of it. While there I thought I needed new brakes and rotors, and asked them to replace them while my car was there, but after they test drove it and inspected them, they told me I had a lot of life left to them and that I really did not need them at this time! Instead of just replacing them because I thought I needed them. Totally honest company...When I got my car back they had completely vacuumed and cleaned the inside and the outside! It looked awesome! I would never bring my car anywhere else...they do it all! Thank you so much Rudy Schmids!!

Update (Nov '21): I've continued to use Rudy for a variety of services since my initial review (some steering work, undercoating, etc.) They continue to impress. They are very responsive, even to email, which is convenient. As always, the quality of their work remains excellent. Rudy does excellent work. They were honest about when they could start the project (about two weeks out). They didn’t just lie and say they can start immediately to get the vehicle in there. Once they started working, they responded to all my calls and emails promptly. They dealt with all of the insurance company things that I never saw. The vehicle was completed when they promised and appears to be in perfect condition. Highly recommend.

Rudy Schmid is 100% one of the best shops I have been to. Not just a repair shop but a business in general. They went above and beyond expectations. They made sure all parts going back on my truck after an accident was OEM and fought with the insurance company to make sure everything was done correctly. They did a great job of explaining the process and how everything would go. Every time I called they were professional and treated me like I was their only customer. I would highly recommend them for any body work or paint matching. They truly are the example of why you go to a family own business. The owners were amazing and friendly.

Rudy Schmid did a great job repairing my car after someone rear-ended my Equinox. They are very informative and sent several text updates to keep me informed which was nice. Not only was their workmanship awesome, they were very charismatic and professional. I didn’t realize they also provide car maintenance as well, and I was totally impressed with the state of the art equipment they have. If I need future repairs this is where I’ll be taking my car no question. How refreshing to find a business today that makes you feel comfortable with a true sense that they genuinely care about their customers the way they do. Anyone needing collision repair on their vehicle should take it to Rudy Schmid’s. This shop does repair the right way, no shortcuts. Quality people & quality work can be hard to find these days, but not at Rudy Schmidt’s. Rudy Schmidt’s is also not afraid to challenge insurance company low-ball estimates, to provides customers a correct repair job. P.S. my entire interior was expertly detailed, and looked amazing when we picked it up. Impressive!

Brought my new car in to get it protected from CNY weather. Rust Check to keep it protected and costs half of what the dealership tried to offer me at a discount rate with other similar services. I would ever go to this place I brought my truck there and they did a alignment on it and 4 months later I need new tires they are 500eh so I’m out 1000 and the price of the alignment was they tuck no responsibility for their mistake said it was good but it clearly wasn’t just said they have 30 years experience but clearly don’t know what they are doing I hope this helps you don’t go there they where new tires when I had the alignment done when I went back they said it had 2 bad wheel bearings, and upper ball joint, but I just had it replaced all of it. They’ll just lie not to take responsibility.

What a wonderful family owned and run business! They took on a tough fix on a jeep gladiator that was given to me as a birthday present and I had only driven for a short 2 months before this accident. I can’t believe I have it back on the road! You always get to deal directly with the owners who's family have been in business 95 years… I had them undercoat it at my expense while it was in there and I am very pleased with that procedure. I will definitely use this shop in the future for any body work or preventative care. Their customer service was top notch!! Thank you!!!!
