Have had the best service at this auto shop and it has now become the only place we take our cars. They are fair and quick and they always make sure you are satisfied. I have recommended H&I to several friends and family members and they have all had great experiences here. If you need a mechanic don’t hesitate to work with Chris. Since owns the place he will do everything to make sure you are happy.

They did, timing belt, water pump, driver side CV joint, and sway bar links on my 2007 Honda Odyssey. Took them less than 2 days and satisfied with the repair and price. All the staff was very friendly but there was one hiccup which I'm going to state the facts only. Mechanic called me and told me he already replaced one of my TPMS sensor and has to replace the other 3 for $300. Told me right front sensor is completely broke and rattling around inside the tire. Now, I already knew my TPMS sensors had dead battery but I just had my front tires changed just one week ago and I did not believe Discount Tires would leave completely broken TPMS sensors inside the tire rattling around. I certainly didn't hear anything rattling in the tire while driving and had no problem filling it with air through valve stem. And Discount Tires quoted me $240 for all 4 TPMS sensors so I told him to just leave it and I'll replace them later. But he insisted that they have to change it because it would put their mechanic's lives in danger during test drive. So I told him to put the car back to test drivable state, then I'll risk my life driving it to Discount Tires and replace them. And then bring it back. Then he agreed to change one rattling sensor for $60 additional fee. Of course I appreciated him replacing one sensor for free and matching the Discount Tires price for the other. And I'm certainly not calling the mechanic a liar which is why I'm still giving them 5 star rating.

Fantastic service on my car was performed by H & I. They went above and beyond to get my car fixed and charged less time for the labor then it took to figure out what was wrong. H & I is also very trustworthy, so you don't have to worry about being taken advantage of.

Love this place!!! Had tires mounted, balanced and car aligned. Very friendly and helpful staff! H & I auto care did a great job with service to my car. They fixed an oil leak, replaced the brakes. They also noticed the tire pressure sensor was bad and replaced it.

I took my vehicle here due to smoke and a burning smell coming from the front passenger area. They told me the smell was the break pads burning due to seized callipers. They said I needed all new calipers rotors and pads as well as break lines for $1900. They kept lowering the price after i refused to go through with it because I did not buy into that at all which is sketchy in and of itself. I did not think that a new break system was the case so I got a 2nd opinion and sure enough the 2nd opinion mechanic said all of the break pads, rotors, calipers, and lines were all in good condition and do not need to be replaced. H and I also told me my vehicle was unsafe to drive while the 2nd mechanic said it is safe. They completey lied through their teeth

I live 35 miles away and would still come to them before anyone in my area. Although fixing a car can get expensive they are still altogether less expensive than other shops. Been living in the Sterling Heights area for over a decade, H&I is the only Auto shop we will ever bring our vehicles to. They are genuinely honest people with a great crew, and they don't price gouge you; let's be serious, all repairs are expensive, but they offer rather fair pricing at this shop. We work with Eli most often, and he has never been anything but truthful and helpful; even going above and beyond when helping us hunt down hard to find auto parts. They are great at promptly returning calls, as well as diagnosing issues. They don't have a huge lot for parking, but the shop is very well maintained with a decent waiting area and fresh coffee. If you are looking for repairs, be sure to give H&I Expert Car Care a call.
