I never leave reviews but based off my experience with Luis I find it completely necessary. This place is a hidden gem. It’s really hard to find a mechanic to trust and after one experience I FULLY trust him. I found myself stranded hours away from home and had to leave my car down in Hollindale. I knew no one down there so googled mechanics down there and found this and took the leap of faith. Within an hour I had my car towed to his shop. And the very next morning it was fixed and ready to go and the most responsible price. I was more than satisfied. I trust him so much that if anything goes wrong with my car I will take the hour drive down there just for him to look at it. If you’re looking for a trusted guy Luis is it!!!

So I was having car trouble on I-95 (engine overheating) and had to find a place quickly. Hallandale auto center was the first place right off the exit. Of course I was a little worried. I didnt know anything about them but how lucky I was. Israel and the staff could not have been nicer. They got the car in to be checked out quickly. They found and fixed the problem right away and won a customer for life. Thanks again to Israel and the awesome staff at Hallandale Auto Center. I highly recommend!

This place is everything a business should not be: abusive, dishonest, and openly taking advantage of customers. I came in with a simple headlight issue and asked them to check whether the fuse was blown. Instead of doing the most basic electrical task in auto repair, they tried to charge me $60 just to look at it. Not to fix it. Not to replace anything. Just to “check.” That is not service. That is exploitation. It’s a way to avoid doing the job while still trying to take someone’s money. If you don’t want to do electrical work, then don’t put it on your sign. But don’t try to rob people because you don’t feel like doing basic diagnostics. This is abusive, dishonest behavior, and it shows exactly how this business operates. I walked out. Save yourself the time, the frustration, and the money—go literally anywhere else.
