This problem started at Midas located in Ohio. The location is 3142 Holland -Sylvania AVE. Toleto, OH, 43615 These idiots sold me tires that are not approved for the 7,000 lb truck I drive. My van requires LT tires and it is not what these people sold me. I live in Florida and they arranged to replace the tires but after waiting one full day for the tires to arrive in stock, they would not Mount them on my car because I arrived 1 hour before closing time.. Their incompetence could cause a fatality on the road and they have no obligation to prioritize an error that can get people killed. The name of the manager on my receipt was also fraudulent. The manager was the person who works part-time as a bounty hunter. The manager's name in Florida is Jose and the second Midas location is located at 1000 N Federal Highway Hallandale Beach, FL. The location in Ohio also gave me a fraudulent estimate. They gave me an estimate with repairs totaling $1400. But none of those repairs were necessary or performed. The receipt I have shows repairs completely different than the parts/services that were on the original estimate. They thought all I needed was a serpitine belt and they were going to charge me erroneously for parts not defective but I needed the A/C compressor changed which increased the price dramatically which prevented them from charging me fraudulently because the bill would have been $10,000, which I obviously can't afford to pay. I don't need tires from these idiots who probably maliciously did it on purpose, not accidentally! I will be contacting the DOT in Florida and Ohio, the BBB, and the state Mechanics complaint department in Ohio and Florida. I hope their happy leaving tires on a vehicle not approved by law. I even offered to take the tires to a real tire place that doesn't close at 6pm. That's not good enough for them. Now they can accept the negative publicity. What do you think is worst? Extreme negligence from the Ohio Midas mounting tires on a truck that are not approved by DOT or attempted murder by Jose at Midas in Hallandale who leaves unapproved tires on a truck when the correct tires are waiting at Midas, but he says.... Come tomorrow or Monday!

I recently purchased brand new tires with a lifetime warranty from Midas, and while my local Midas has always been excellent, my experience in Miami was extremely disappointing. After getting a flat, the staff couldn’t find my account at first, and even after my local shop confirmed my warranty, they were skeptical and acted as if I was making it up. They didn’t have my tire in stock, refused to call other locations, wouldn’t consider temporary options to get me home, and claimed my flat was beyond repair. Instead, they brushed me off and told me to rely on the donut until a new tire could arrive in two days—which was not an option since I had to travel for work. I then went to a used tire shop, where they patched the tire without issue, and I made it home safely. Overall, this location showed little effort, care, or customer service. It was frustrating to be treated like I was dishonest, especially after showing proof of my warranty. My local Midas sets a much higher standard, and this experience was the complete opposite.

Jonathan and Jose, at the front desk, provided great customer service. Leroy, a mechanic, was able to diagnose and resolve a problem with my Scion that mechanics at other companies could not. Leroy also took the time to show how he determined the problem with the car. He explained in terms that I could understand. This is the first time a mechanic explained in detail to me how they determined what was wrong with the car and what repair was needed. I also was surprised that they were able to change the oil on my second car and repair a broken panel while I was waiting for my first car. Their oil change prices are very reasonable. Their service is great, they are knowledgeable and trustworthy.

I was calling for oil change at 3pm and I was told to arrived at 3:20pm. When i arrived and go to the office I was told that they're closing in 20 minutes when the closing time is 4pm Very bad service I am offering not to come that location as they're was lied about the closing time. Don't know what they're can lie for other things or any services they're providing!!!

This Midas location in Hallandale, Florida is excellent in every way!! We had a (Turo) rental car that needed an oil change to be paid for by the owner. A call to this Midas led me to the shop manager (Jose) He took care of contacting the owner for payment details, serviced our car quickly and efficiently AND did it all with a kind smile and a handshake!!! You will never regret choosing this Midas location!!! Beyond excellent!!!
