I cannot say enough good things about the service I received at Harb's. The work was beautifully done, the communication was never lacking, and everyone I interacted with could not have been nicer. They took care of everything with the insurance company and kept me up to speed with everything that was being done. EDIT: To their response, you guys gave me a best case and worst case scenario quote. If not having to remove the bumper was best case scenario then your quote would’ve reflected that, but you didn’t. I’m not sure what software you are using but I, being the absolute idiot I am at all things car mechanics, found my answer in 20 seconds of googling regarding whether or you’d have to pull the bumper. So to further expand on the final point in my original review: I’m sure there was transparency here. Your line items were very well articulated which I’m sure any of us could appreciate. You just didn’t know what you were doing. Original review: I’ve driven past this location a thousand times and finally figured I’d give them a chance. After this experience, it’ll now be the last place on earth I’d take my vehicle for any work whatsoever. My wife brought in her Audi Q3 for a simple headlight issue. They quoted her “best case” a little over $1,000 and “worst case” $1,700… for what was nothing more than a bulb replacement. Their written estimate was padded with absurd line items. They had stuff like body panel removal, paint refinishing, hazardous material disposal, and other nonsense. They even quoted several several hours of labor. WELL GUESS WHAT… I watched a 5 minute youtube video and a job that took me 25 minutes with a $100 bulb you can easily order online. Please understand I am not mechanically handy at all, yet I cleared the job faster than it took them to print the estimate. So this left me wondering…did they think they could take advantage of my wife because she went in alone? The ethics of the rep who wrote that estimate are highly questionable. Shops like this are exactly why people don’t trust auto repair businesses. Their quote read more like an insurance scam ticket than an honest repair. If you value transparency and fairness, steer clear of this place. They took what should have been a straightforward easy job and tried to spin it into some $1,700 massive undertaking. Absolutely unacceptable. But hey, let’s just assume for a second that the person who quoted the job was wildly incompetent and no malice was involved. At that point do you want that company working on your vehicle? Let y’all answer that for yourselves.

A tree had fallen on my truck last winter. I was devastated. We had just moved here and were sleeping in our truck. Luckily, there was no engine or frame damage. I took it to Harbs. The insurance approved everything right away, and Harbs right to work. Some parts needed to be ordered. The staff there kept me informed of part arrivals and progress. My truck was fixed good as new. Many years ago, hubby's car was in a wreck and the insurance company sent us to Harb's for body work and paint. So when it came time, years later, to repaint my vehicle, we went to Harb's. My car WAS silver. I have wanted purple since pretty much the day we brought the car home. Adam looked a bit dubious when we explained what I wanted. But he got me paint chips and let me choose the color I wanted. He gave us a price and said it would take about 5 weeks to complete the work. Because this isn't the $299.99 paint job where they paint over stickers and neglect the inside of the headlights and doors, this is a factory quality paint job. They took the body completely apart, fixed or tightened up all the weather stripping, and cleaned the inside of my car. They sent pictures while the work was in progress, kept us in the loop about the time frame AND finished the car before it was promised! I could not be more pleased! My car has a beautiful paint job. All the little dings and dents and the damage from a hawk flying into my front grill are gone! (When the car was finished, Adam admitted he'd been skeptical about my color choice, but agreed that it looks amazing.) I would recommend Harb's to everyone. They were a pleasure to work with and they delivered everything they promised! And in just a week's time, I've gotten several compliments on the color AND the quality of the work.

Stopped by for a paint job estimate since I was in HP. I planned to hire them for a little body work and fresh paint only to find a big sign on the door saying “Estimates by appointment only” but since I was there inquired to see if it was possible and found that estimates truly are by appointment only. No worries , I’m sure they do great work. Just wasted some gas and time, that’s all.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this auto body shop, primarily due to the customer service, specifically from Irma, the administrative assistant. I drove in from outside the county first thing in the morning to get an estimate, only to be told that estimates are done strictly by appointment. While I understand that policies are in place for a reason, this was my first time visiting and I wasn’t aware of the appointment requirement. I was the first person there, so I had hoped there might be some flexibility or willingness to work with me given the circumstances. Unfortunately, Irma, the administrative assistant, was not friendly or particularly polite in explaining the policy. The interaction felt dismissive rather than helpful. She didn’t even face me…she had her back to me pretty much the whole time. Even a small effort to show understanding or offer an alternative solution would have gone a long way. I fully acknowledge that not scheduling an appointment was my oversight. However, customer service is about how situations are handled — especially when a potential customer has made the effort to travel a significant distance. Based on this experience, I left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I hope this feedback is helpful and encourages a more customer-centered approach in the future.
