Always a great experience here. I’ve bought new tires here for many, many years and have also had car repairs done here. Fair pricing and a good crew. Their pricing on tires is especially good and on par with the pricing of Costco and other major retailers that sell tires. A few things to keep in mind: You cannot schedule an appointment for most service options here. The exception are quicker items such as state inspections and oil changes. So it’s best to make plans to leave your car if you do not want to take your chances with a longer wait. This garage stays busy. They do good work and have a lot of loyal customers.

I have been dealing with Harris Tire on Wards Road for years. I went in for service again today and they didn't disappoint. This place will deal with you fairly and honestly. They never try to rip you off, they seem committed to making you want to come back the next time you need service. The staff are professional and polite. This place is my go-to whenever I need tires, inspections, etc...and if you live in Lynchburg it should be yours too.

I had 4 brand new tire put on our 2008 Chrysler Aspen, adding up to over $1100.00. They damaged all 4 wheels on their balance machine! This was done by an inexperienced employee, they admitted to it! They said it an older car, & it’s wasn’t perfect. They don’t Care! They have a bad attitude towards the customer, they made the sale. Home town company that doesn’t care about the customer!

I used to use this place all the time, but the cost for things seems to have gone up recently. Just for simple oil change as far as I can remember is now close to $80 The final straw came at one point when I asked for a check engine light reading. The itemized service alone to check the engine light was well over $100. Granted I should have asked how much it was before going, but over $100 to plug in a computer and read the screen seems a little much imo. To their credit they did help me several times get a booking for my oil change when I was a walk-in and they were very busy. But overall bad with bad pricing issues, long booking wait times, and several times they left the inside of my car smelling like grease and dirt

My feelings are mixed on this company, I had my truck tow there yesterday 6/5 from a very good company Mitchell Towing. I called Harris Tire on the day of the two being towed and talk to two different people about my truck an F350 and what was going on with it. Both people told me to bring it on in, I walked there from the hotel I was staying in the next morning around 730ish just to make sure everything was good. They said it was and they would start close to noon, so I’m assuming that they would call when it is was ready. I walked to the hotel only for them to a few hours later to say that they don’t work on diesel trucks… after confirming with them 3 times now they don’t work on diesel’s which killed another whole day. I will say that the vice president Matt did his best to make it right. He paid to get my truck tow to a real diesel shop. By then the damage was already done and another day gone. I wish folks would just pay a lil more attention to what’s going on and would save a tremendous amount of time which didn’t happen is this case. They do have a good guy there name Trevor he helped as much as he could. Whole thing could have gone a whole lot smoother.

We got an irreparable flat tire on a long road trip home. After calling a few other places that didn’t carry our tire in stock, one of them recommended I call Harris. And not only did they have it in stock, they made us feel well cared for. Trevor, in particular. We appreciated his integrity and care very much.

Overall experience was great but I’m just hear to say, I’ve had to replace all 4 tires of a whole set due to cuts being on the bead which allowed air to leak. Granted they were low profile tires which makes them a pain so if anyone has low profile tires I don’t recommend

Tried to give the small local joint a try and it just puts a bad taste in your mouth. They lied to my face, didn’t seal the tire correctly so I had to go back several times, and got my 1 year old bright white leather seat filthy. They don’t care about you or your vehicle. They only try to deny everything and say what ever they did wrong was like that when you gave it to them and they will 100% employ bad logic and lying to do so. Sigh.. It cost the same price to use the national chains, so if you don’t want garage filth/grossness in your car when you go to get new tires, go elsewhere because they don’t even bother to protect your car with the $0.10 seat covers.

Warning: I took my car here for an alignment since I just had the front axle replaced. They told me an alignment would be pointless since I’m getting new tires in 6 months. I told them it was riding rough, and I just wanted the alignment still. They ended up driving it around for a few hours and just balancing the tires, which ended up costing me more than the original agreed alignment price. They apparently left the key in the car for me to pick up. When I went to get it, the key was missing. I called them back and they said they went back to the car and found the key and put it on the seat. Once again I went to get my car, to only find my spare key for my other car sitting on the seat (I had kept the spare in the glove box and it was a different branded car key than the one they were working on). During their “search” they ended dumping all the contents of my middle console all over the backseat. They ended up losing my key and had to get it replaced. They did end up paying for the lost key, but this was two and a half days of wasted time and it was like pulling teeth to make sure they got me the right key with electric locks. I would be careful about going here.

Went there before a long trip to evaluate the health of a tire and need for rotation. Was told I didn't need to replace tire (it was ok for travel) or rotate the tires as tread was good. Free advice and I didn't get taken for a ride like they could have done. They seem very honest and capable to me.

Not sure if I got a good deal or not, but this place was recommended by a coworker and said they never disappoint her so I gave it a go. I got four new tires, got in and out within 40 minutes. I spoke with Trevor, he was very friendly.

I had the best experience at this tire shop! The team went above and beyond to help me out when I really needed it. They were fast and super friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and want to help them to the best of their ability! I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to everyone I know!

Hubby got flat while traveling there from out of state.. called them and they were great from the start. They recommended a tow company (who was great, too) and they were able to get our car up and running within a few hours. Because two tires were impacted, we decided to replace all four tires. Hubby says car rides great now. Excellent service, great communication, and a very fair price .. thank you!

Brought my car in for a tire patch, just a small nail that had caused the tire pressure warning light to come on. I get my car back and it's making a terrible metal scraping sound from the same tire they pulled for repair. Tried multiple times to call and let them know, but Jerry answered and was extremely rude and short when I explained the situation. I am a female college student with multiple years of working on vehicles under my belt and my father is a mechanic. When my dad called the shop, Jerry had a full conversation with him and was very respectful to him unlike how my calls had gone. Finally just brought it in and was given a time frame, which they went several hours over and when I called to check on it Jerry answered and again was extremely short and tried to get me off the phone quickly. When I finally got a call to pick it up, they claimed that the reason for the noise was my e-brake had been left on. I had placed the parking brake on when I parked at the shop and the mechanic did not release it when they pulled into the garage. The metal shrieking is still there and now my tire is clicking when pulled on after they removed it again, which very well means they put my tire on incorrectly. I will not be going back to this shop and do not recommend it, especially if you are a woman. I was treated very poorly and as if I was some stupid little girl by people who don't even know to check to make sure the parking brake is off before driving a vehicle.

I have had two great experiences with this automotive shop. The first time, about 2 years ago, I unexpectedly needed to have a catalytic converter replaced within the next day for a road trip. They were one of two shops in town who had the part, the only stop could do it in time, and they were the cheapest. Great experience! Secondly, I recently was topping off my oil before another road trip when my oil cap fell between the gaps in my engine bay and landed in apparently a different dimension that I could not find. After a quick call to Harris Tire, I rigged a cap to a different car onto mine and took it to the shop. They put it on a lift within 3 minutes, and were able to find my original oil cap within 5. All of this while they were busy! And, they did not charge me for a stupid mistake I made. Great shop and customer service!

This is the second time I have needed Harris tire services. The manager has a great personality which enhances his customer service skills. You are treated with respect and they get the job done. He goes above and beyond and works tirelessly to find the problem… if all things fail, take the hubcaps off. I would highly recommend Harris tire to anyone needing tire services! I would give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s if I could!
