We needed our RV serviced. We have used before for inspection and parts with no issues. End of November my husband went in to ask about servicing our Cummins engine on our coach. He was told the best way is to make an appointment. So our appointment was set for December 6. Today is the 29th of December and we have been told 3 times it was being looked at. But the truth is, it has not even been moved. While I understand end of year, vacations, travel, sickness and Covid I do NOT UNDERSTAND BOLD FACE LIES BEING TOLD TO A CUSTOMER. That IS NOT good CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The very least that could have been done was to check the code on the coach to see what the problem is and see if parts are available or not. We HAD a trip planned in January which we have had to cancel due to the lack of professionalism by this company. I can understand if we didn’t have an appointment, but we complied with what they asked and made one for December 6th thinking seriously our coach would be looked at, evaluated and on the road to recovery in a few days. It is inexcusable to operate a business like this. If you have too much work load, or lack of employees, turn the work away. Don’t let people put their faith in your word because Your words are not trustworthy. I also understand our first responder vehicles are served there. God help us all if you treat them with the same attitude. I am so thoroughly disappointed and disgusted in your lack of honesty Diane

Let me say this, ive been in trucking for over 8 years, and a fleet owners worst nightmare is breaking down over the road in fear of getting raped by these shops out here. I never leave reviews but had to make an exception for piedmont. Lewis in particular provided exceptional service and communication. I broke down at a exxon gas station and they towed my truck and my trailer seperate in order to have my load delivered for me 20 miles away. Didnt kill me on the price. Once i got the parts, my repairs were done same day and work was done perfect. I highly reccommend this company,And ask for LEWIS when you call!!

I’m a 1 truck carrier and I tried dropping off a recently purchased truck for a inspection and some replacement of obvious lights out. Over a week later still not seen but service was up front that at best two weeks. Not to surprised and no problem there. I schedule a appointment for a inspection on the same truck for Thursday 12/8 and take my now only working truck off the road and request a tie rod I thought had slack in it be ordered for replacement while it’s in the shop. I call on Friday 12/9 around 11am and my truck was just getting pulled in. By 4pm it’s halfway done a inspection and I cannot wait longer as I have to get on the road Monday plus get stickers put on. I first get told I didn’t have a appointment and never made one however the ordered replacement tie rod had come in?!?!!? On top of that no lights were fixed in the shop where ladders and proper safety equipment and I’m certain the replacement lights are available in the parts department. Now to make it better the guy bringing in a Mack with 1.5 million miles can obviously afford this much down time and the hood latch to be freshly broken as well. This is a fleet service center with a truck wash that’s only decent for getting winter road treatment off. If you don’t have spare trucks laying around so you can wait 4-6 weeks to get the maintenance cycle completed DONT COME HERE! I’ll be climbing up on the roof of the truck today in the wind outside to replace lights because I can’t piss away more hours and rides to town to get “fleet service treatment” (where a it’s someone else’s truck paying with someone else’s money so why would I (the operator) care how long it takes.)

Great experience. From sales to service you can't beat the customer service. I even received a call this morning making sure I was satisfied. They got me in at my scheduled appointment time and finished quicker than I was originally told. They are the only ones I trust to work on my motorhome.

These guys are solid. Lewis and Jason helped me on a major repair in a pinch. The clutch in my semi had gone out. I tried another garage first only because I am not from the area (I live 8 hours away). After being lied to by the owner and then the secretary of "Snag & Drag Towing" about a repair they were supposed to be doing, I had discovered that I was being drug along....12 days!(a costly immature game as any truck driver can tell you). I finally had to recover my truck with the county sheriff. Piedmont towed my truck for me to their shop and had it on a lift before I even left the shop. Always easy to reach, full detail on what step of the repair they were on and so far looks like the work they did is exact. The shop is top notch and I would recommend these guys. There is one catch, If you pay with credit card, there is a charge for it. Don't get me wrong, I get it cause they have to pay the credit card company. Not the end of the world but would have been useful to know up front so I could have made other arrangements and save that charge. Again, not that big a deal.

The time frame to get my brakes done was almost 2 months. They costed me $3000.00 worth of rentals on U-Hauls and then hit me with $4000.00 bill for my brakes on a Ford 750. They may do great work but not to even offer some kind of discount for not being honest about how busy they were and for having my vehicle for almost again 2 mos for brakes! I do not recommend if looking to get your vehicle back Quickly

These guys are awesome! Our Sprinter chassis RV needed an oil change and we also needed LP. They did it all and the oil change was less expensive than the Mercedes dealership in Roanoke (which would not have had LP). We dropped it off in the afternoon and picked it up around 5:00. Their communication was great and we just felt well taken care of! I would highly recommend this place!!

They were able to align my truck when other shops couldn’t fit it on their alignment rack and the truck drove so much better for it! Jason was very helpful in answering my questions and getting me on the schedule quickly. Very happy with the service received and the price paid.

Mendacious, lazy thieves. I recently had my rv serviced by Piedmont Fleet. I asked them to do what needed done to make it road worthy and pass a state inspection and to especially make sure the turn signals worked because that was the biggest road safety thing I noticed. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks which I knew would probably be longer, but they said they'd be able to look at it within the week. It took them one whole month to look at my vehicle. Then, they called at 4:30 on a Friday to say they needed an up front deposit of 5 grand to start the work. It took yet another month to get it back after they ordered the wrong parts and destroyed the rear brakes. Yet another 5 grand and change was given to them to get my vehicle back. On the way home, my rv died in the middle of the highway. I am now told by another mechanic that the transmission is shot and so is the carburetor. Did I mention that the turn signals still don't work? Piedmont Fleet also killed my radio and air conditioning. If you have an RV stay away, these people will juice you for any and all money they can. They are not good people and being stupid is a job requirement to work there.

I took my company truck here to get a front end alignment done. Everyone I talked to was very helpful and pleasant. They had a nice lounge area to wait and watch TV. They did an excellent job and I definitely recommend them to anyone with a heavy duty truck.

We have a 2000 Damon Daybreak that needed quite a bit of work. In the Lynchburg VA area we finally found this gem of a place. Not only did they fix everything but also treated us with a high degree of respect. They did not over charge nor try to push up sales. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone for RV chassis repairs.

I'm on the road in an RV that needed alignment pronto. Matt in the service dept. was able to finagle me in on the schedule within 2 days. Whereas everyone else I called had 2 week to a month wait. My battery for the fridge would have ran down and leaving it in a lot. Worrying about freezing up was not an option. I came in first thing in the morning. They got it done while I waited 4 hours. Then I was on my way! Saved me a set of tires, that were wearing fast and stopped the shake. That's great customer service!

People call this place the “Highway Robbery” and trust me if you don’t have a tractor trailer rig, please don’t take it to this place UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. If you have a pickup truck or a box truck, please for the love of god just take it to a regular mechanic unless you want to pay $500 labor for a 2 hour brake system job. Seriously could’ve gotten my buddy to do it for 1/3 of the price as this place charges you, oh yeah and he would’ve done it in half the time also! This place will totally rip you off and then try and “fix” other things you didn’t even request for just so they can try and pry more money out of you! Anytime you take your vehicle to a dealership or fleet service you’re paying out the arse for labor versus a regular mechanic shop. AVOID THIS PLACE

I have tried to use this shop for repairs on my equipment over the last 2 years. And now I will go to Excel truck center and pay $50 dollars an hour more just to get things fixed in a timely manner. My biggest complaint with this shop they do not communicate with their customers. And when shit gets messed up. The owner gets mad and blames the customer for their communication error.

I bought my semi-truck in for what should have been a straightforward repair, but the service was far from acceptable. Not only did they take much longer than they initially promised, but the quality of work was subpar, forcing me to return multiple times for the same issue. The lack of communication was astounding – I was rarely updated on the status of my truck, and when I reached out, the staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. Even worse, the final bill was far higher than the estimate, with no clear explanation for the additional charges. I rely on my truck for my livelihood, and this shop’s incompetence has cost me time, money, and business. I would strongly recommend finding a more reliable and professional repair service.

We recently needed roadside service as well as repair service and had excellent customer service. Jason & Stacey in service swiftly acted to get us taken care of both times getting us back to our trip and another time rescued from the side of the road. They replaced an alternator and then a blowout of a steer tire with roadside service. First class treatment, great service, and fair pricing.

⭐☆☆☆☆ If you're looking for a place to let your rig collect dust while your paycheck bleeds out, Piedmont Fleet Services is the gold standard. They've had my tractor trailer for five days and somehow haven't even started the kingpin repair or alignment. I guess "fleet service" here really means "eventual maybe service if we feel like it." Communication? Nonexistent — unless you enjoy being ignored or fed vague excuses. If time is money, Piedmont just robbed me blind. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Piedmont Fleet Services in Lynchburg must be running a time travel experiment, because five days there feels like five centuries. You’d think dropping off your truck for a kingpin repair and alignment would mean, I don’t know… someone actually working on it? But nope — they treat urgent commercial repairs like a suggestion, not a job. Communication? About as responsive as a brick wall on airplane mode. You could send smoke signals and get a faster reply. Meanwhile, your rig just sits there like a lawn ornament, racking up lost revenue while the shop staff acts like they’ve got all the time in the world and you’ve got none. If you're looking for speed, reliability, or even just basic accountability, Piedmont Fleet Services is about as useful as a flat tire on a mountain road. You’d be better off duct taping your kingpin yourself and eyeballing your own alignment in a truck stop parking lot. This shop doesn’t just drop the ball — they deflate it, set it on fire, and lose it in a swamp.

This place took care of my RV and got me in earlier than expected because I was traveling. Let me camp in their lot over the weekend while waiting for repairs. Jason handled my service order and Ben Harris was the tech who did the work and I can't say thank you enough.
