Great place to buy a car! Went in looking for a Telluride and they had a great selection of them. We ended up deciding that we wanted the Jungle Green color. The GM Nasser and Sal were the most helpful sales person that I have ever dealt with. They answered every question we had and never pressured us to do or go for anything that we didn't want. Also AJ from the finance department made everything smooth and help us get on the road with our new SUV quick. They even checked in with us a few days after to see how we were doing. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a new car! Great team at Hayward Kia!!

16K mile service scheduled to be performed. Service consultant friendly and courteous. However currently the dealership is under construction, so there is a pop up tent as a waiting area. It is not very welcoming. Plastic chairs with tables, patio lighting and no heaters for the colder months. Waited longer than told service would take and we had to check to see if vehicle was ready.

Dealerships get a bad rep but rest assured you will have a positive experience at Hayward Kia. They had a great deal on a used EV and their simple price model made the buying process hassle free. Nimer Massis and his manager AJ made the whole process from answering questions, locking down numbers, taking care of the used-ev tax rebate, to servicing issues with the car I noticed post-sale super easy and I greatly appreciated that. Don't be scared to question everything as they came off as helpful and honest!

I got my car serviced here after purchasing it from a partner dealership. While the staff seemed focused on raising the bar for service, several missteps led to a suboptimal experience. For example, it took over a month to fix all the issues that they agreed to address. After picking up my car, I noticed a missing floormat and a misconfigured GPS tracking unit. In the end, I got a nearly flawless car, but it required an unusually slow and painful process.

I had a wonderful experience with the dealership when we were buying our first family SUV. The sales person Aldwin was so friendly and helped us with every step of the process. He was the x-factor in deciding to buy our car from the dealership. Unfortunately it was so sad to hear from him that he lost his job at the dealership today. I am not sure what has happened to drive the dealership to this extreme. Based on my few days of interaction with him, I think removing a sales person such as him is a loss to the dealership, there is no easy way to put this.

I had an 11:00 AM appointment at Kia Hayward to view a 2026 Kia Carnival, and the experience was far from smooth. First issue — the vehicle was not properly detailed and had not completed necessary inspections prior to showing it to a customer. If someone books an appointment, the car should be fully ready. That’s basic dealership preparation. Raj took us on the test drive. He was genuinely kind and did his best, but some feedback for improvement: he was chewing gum loudly and smacking his lips throughout the entire drive, which made it hard to focus on the car. He was also speaking extremely fast when explaining features, not really giving time to absorb the information. Again, he was nice — just needs polish. We then worked with Ali, who was also great and professional. However, when we asked for clarification on certain line-item costs in the lease agreement, the explanations weren’t clear or broken down in a way the average consumer could easily understand. Transparency and clarity are critical when you’re talking about thousands of dollars. Another frustration: there were too many handoffs. Raj for the test drive, Ali for the numbers, and then a third person just to sign documents. It felt disjointed and inefficient. Customers should have one consistent point of contact — it makes the process smoother and builds trust. Now this part is directed to ownership: STOP being cheap and invest in proper internet. We were asked to step outside the building to get better connection on the iPad just to sign documents. That is incredibly unprofessional. How are you running a modern dealership without reliable Wi-Fi for digital contracts? The entire process took 5–6 hours. After all that, when the car came back from the wash, it still had factory stickers and wrappers all over it. It looked like no one even attempted to properly prep the vehicle. We brought this up to the director, Khalid. His response felt dismissive — a quick “please forgive us” that didn’t seem genuine. He bought a cake before we left to “make it right,” but that doesn’t fix systemic issues. Raj and Ali were good people and tried their best. The operational leadership and ownership need serious improvement. Be prepared. Invest in infrastructure. Create a seamless, professional process. And most importantly, actually care about customer concerns. Do better.

Stoked! I came in planning to look at one car and couldn’t stop thinking about a different one I saw once u got there. Even though it ended up being above my original budget, Sal took the time to show me multiple models within my price range and clearly explained the differences in trims and pricing. He was extremely knowledgeable and never pushy. This is my fourth car purchase but my first time buying brand new, and the experience was night and day compared to other dealerships I visited. Several claimed to offer the “best prices in the Bay Area,” but Kia Hayward beat their pricing by thousands. Other places felt pushy or sleazy…Kia Hayward was the complete opposite and genuinely worked with me to make the purchase fit my budget. I ended up purchasing a Kia Sportage with an upgraded trim…one I hadn’t even test driven at first, and I don’t think Sal expected me to circle back to it. I had a ton of questions about the car and financing options, and he patiently walked me through everything. Despite my high anxiety, the process felt smooth, honest, and comfortable from start to finish. I’m really grateful for the experience and highly recommend Sal and Kia Hayward!

Great sales experience on a new EV9. I came in knowing what I wanted, with a pre-negotiated lease quote from Leasehackr. Aside from one other place way out in the South Bay, Hayward Kia had by far the best selection of EV9s, and exactly the configuration I was looking for. I was with my husband and brother-in-law and even though we arrived pretty late, our sales guy Sal still took really good care of us. He patiently let each of us test drive the car and he and several of the staff stayed after hours to complete the deal. The deal part with Eric was low pressure, no games, no nonsense, and transparent. They honored the deal I brought in even though it was for a lower trim. They of course tried selling additional options but when I politely declined, that was it - no arguing. Raheem handled our paperwork and he was great too - he made sure to explain all the legalese and bond with me over motorcycles. And even after the sale, well past closing time, we still didn’t feel rushed - Sal seemed genuinely keen to explain key features of our new EV and share tips. I also appreciated that they could have cut corners but didn’t - we wanted to leave with the car, and since it was after hours, we were totally fine not having the typical wash/detailing done beforehand. They made sure to insist we come back to have those little things taken care of and when we did, they even charged the car. A week later, Sal made sure to call me to follow up to make sure I had everything I needed and had all my questions answered. Top notch!
