What a shady dealer. I was looking for a part for my jeep and filled out the website request to see if they had the part. Now all I get are calls from every salesman there wanting me to come in and discus a new jeep. If they are so desperate to get leads from their parts department things must be really bad. Now as for blocking their phone number, I have blocked 5 numbers so far and they just use a different one. And now we will get the canned response, "we are disappointed that your interaction with us was not up to our high standards"

I’ve been a returning customer of Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Hemet and have always had good experiences—until my most recent visit. I took my 2021 Jeep Gladiator in because the stop/start feature stopped working for the second time in just over a year. Unfortunately, the service I received from Service Advisor Danny was extremely disappointing. Initially, the interaction was fine, but things changed once he tried to sell me over $2,300 in additional “recommended” services. When I respectfully declined, his attitude completely shifted he became short, dismissive, and uninterested in helping. I had been told when scheduling my appointment that a ride home would be provided, but when I asked, Danny acted like he was doing me a personal favor and even said he’d need his manager’s approval because he “didn’t want to get written up again.” A few hours later, he called to say the issue was the auxiliary battery (a common problem Jeep owners are familiar with). He never checked my previous service history to see that the same battery had already been replaced just over a year ago. When I asked about warranty coverage, he finally looked it up and said it was a couple of weeks past warranty then told me it would cost $350 for the battery plus $225 in labor. When I said I couldn’t afford that right now, he said I’d still have to pay the $225 diagnostic fee, so essentially, I paid $225 for nothing. When I picked up my Jeep, I wasn’t given a proper invoice detailing the work performed only a credit card receipt for $225. Every other time I’ve received service here, I immediately got a follow-up request to leave a review, but after this experience, I never received one. That alone speaks volumes about how poor service experiences are handled (or avoided). I’ve been loyal to this dealership for years, but this visit was enough to make me reconsider returning. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer service accountability, especially in the service department

I went in for an oil change on my 2023 Widebody Dodge Charger. I took my mom with me while waiting for my she test drove a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer Ev. I’ve had terrible experiences with both Hemet and Lake Elsinore Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. Unfortunately, both dealerships are run by the same ownership group—and it really shows. From the start, I ran into multiple issues and misleading practices at both locations. They often advertise the same vehicle at both dealerships, claiming it’s in stock, only for you to find out—after driving there—that they don’t actually have it. Instead, they try to push you toward a completely different vehicle. On one occasion, they told me the truck I was coming to see had “just sold.” Later, I learned it hadn’t sold at all—it was actually sitting at their other location. A month later, I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. I called about a truck I was interested in and asked for the out-the-door (OTD) price. That’s when the runaround began. They refused to remove nearly $4,000 worth of unwanted add-ons like paint protection and nitrogen tires. When I said I didn’t want any of those extras, the salesman—Pablo—told me flat-out that if I removed them, they’d have to increase the base price because “that’s how the dealership makes money.” That’s not just unethical; it’s also against California law, which clearly states add-ons must be optional and disclosed upfront. On top of that, they withhold rebates and incentives unless you use their financing. They make it seem like the factory offers disappear if you don’t finance through them, which simply isn’t true. They also refuse to honor 0% APR or other promotional offers from Ram unless you go along with their terms, leaving you with no real choice but to pay more. When you ask for a pricing breakdown, they won’t give one—just a total number they “come up with.” They never clearly show which rebates or discounts are applied, making it impossible to verify what you’re actually paying for. After being passed between three different people, no one ever gave me a straight answer. Pablo promised to call me back about the truck but never did. I tried following up, was told someone would contact me, and—again—nothing. A friend of mine emailed asking for an OTD quote and got the same treatment. The pattern is always the same: the moment you refuse their add-ons or ask for clear pricing, they completely ghost you. It’s clear they prefer to get you onsite so they can pressure you into a deal and take advantage of you face-to-face. It’s frustrating that these two dealerships are the closest Dodge stores to me. Thankfully, the Temecula location is independently owned and not part of the same group. Honestly, if it were, I’d be driving a Ford or Chevy instead. Bottom line: Don’t trust the online pricing from Hemet or Lake Elsinore Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. They won’t honor advertised rebates or factory offers unless you use their financing, they refuse to provide a transparent price breakdown, and they won’t remove overpriced add-ons. Once you start asking questions or push back, they vanish. Save yourself the stress—go elsewhere.

WORST dealership experience I’ve had at 43 yesrs. The staff felt inexperienced and overly focused on pushing me into a car I didn’t want. I initially came in to look at a specific vehicle, but the salesperson couldn’t answer basic questions about it—I knew more about the car than he did, which was concerning. After he advised me not to buy that vehicle, I decided to look at other options. I asked to test drive a few cars, but after the third test drive, he told me I was “wasting his time” because I wasn’t buying immediately. At that point, I left and went to the Toyota dealership across the street, where I was treated with professionalism and respect. I ended up purchasing the car I wanted and received a 5-year warranty. Even after speaking with a manager at the first dealership, nothing improved—they continued to be dismissive, impatient, and unaccommodating. Overall, the customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this dealership and suggest going to a different Dodge dealership for a better experience and a better deal.
