I have used Romona Tire in the past for all my cars service needs. The last time I went, Eric the Service Manager and Eric the Technician were wonderful. I took my car in because it wasn’t passing smog. I also need tires, brakes and other repairs. The service was completed the same day. Eric kept me informed of what was happening and when I should arrive to pick up. My car now runs great! I followed their directions of driving it on the freeway for 50 miles. It was a nice smooth ride. I took it to get smogged and it “passed” with flying colors. I’m so grateful to everyone who was involved in fixing my Subaru. I definitely recommend Romona Tire on Menlo for any repairs from minor to serious.

Well I had just taken it to Les Schwab the day before and got an estimate for the back brakes that was under $800 this place told me I needed over $2,000 worth of work they thought I was a dumb broad and the guy was rude because I didn't want to do the work that day and he said it would be $20 per page for the estimate he printed it up when they're the ones who offer free brake check, they're shysters! Beware. I took my car to One STOP Auto in Yucaipa, got new pads and turned the rotors. $200.

If you're going for an oil change, DON"T! Look for another service provider. I made an appointment for 11am Nov. 4. I inquired about the wait time because we all know everyone's time is valuable. I was told it would be about one hour to about one hour and a half. The wait time seemed long but I was willing to wait. Had I know what was to come I would have left. They promptly completed the service 3 HOURS LATER! They underestimated the time by 2 fold. I guess they must new to the estimation game. Okay. If my estimate were off by 100% in my line of work, I'd be fired. To top things off, when I went to my car the seats had been soiled with dirty brake dust. On the bright side at least it wasn't oil (hopefully they put the oil where it goes). That stain is indelible. I went to complain about the seats. I didn't even complain about the time they took which I should have. The manager suggested I clean it with carpet cleaner. OKAY HELL NO! This is your problem. After pressing the issue, he did offer to have me wait longer for them to clean it or I could take it to have the seats cleaned and have me reimbursed. Now, I do applaud him for trying to atone the situation. However, I do not recommend this place if you're going for a simple oil change. Save yourself the grief and go to a service provider that specializes in oil changes. I cannot speak to their other services. However, if this simple task takes them this long, imagine how long other lengthier assignments will take? I could imagine you'll be getting your car in a few weeks for a brake job. Over and out PS and they also tried to upsell me on things I don't need. It's highly unlikely a car one year old would need brake rotors.

Had them check an issue with my a/c on my Audi Q3. They quoted me a charge for the diagnostic and possible charges for the repair. Unfortunately, Audi a/c issues are more suited to be fixed by the dealer. Totally understandable after owning this vehicle for many years. I wouldn’t recommend buying an Audi. However, I would recommend using Ramona Tire for your cars need. At the end of the day they discounted the diagnostic fee and I left happy.

The associates here are polite, professional, and helpful! I moved here only a month ago and my first experience was when I had my low tire light come on. They were happy to check all my tires and let me know they were here for all of my auto needs. This week my oil change was due. I called and they scheduled me for that afternoon! They took great care of my car and even rotated my tires as a part of that service. I will be seeing them for all my auto needs. 😊

Jim and the staff were really communicative and responsive. Great staff and very efficient staff and they said the time it would be ready and it was and got a discount automatically applied didn’t have to print it out. Good price worth the money they beat two other shops and even to get the tires they were able to get them before other shops.

I went to the Menlo location about a month ago to get my rotors and breaks replaced. As well as replace two tires. Since then my car now have a horrible clicking sound when breaking as well as a high pitched whistle! Both are present only when I break. I spoke with Jim a week after and brought my car in because of the new developments. He suggested more work with another bill, which I declined. Then he proceeded to claim that they would complete the work complimentary. Which was a lie because they used my warranty but guess what, the issue still persist after another repair! I went in another week later, it's been two weeks by now. I took Jim for a drive to let him experience what I heard but he claimed to not know what it could be. "Huh, I have no idea what that could be", he said. How is that even possible if you are working there!?!! Why offer to go for a drive if you don't understand how to fix the problem? Can someone help me who knows what this issue could be? It's been a month now and the sound is disgustingly disturbing. Therefore, my recommendation, especially if you are a woman, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. I called multiples times to resolve this issues and went two additional times but there has been NO resolution. Does anyone else recommend another mechanic that can fix this issue? P.S. Instead of a comment from the business recommending I call to resolve this issue, which I have, why don't you call me to resolve this issue. Please and Thank you.

My experience at Ramona Tire in Hemet was horrible. I went in to have my brakes and rotors replaced, and within a week they started grinding worse than before. I went back and spoke with Jim, who warranted the work and said he didn’t know what the problem was. About a week later, the brakes started grinding again. Jim took a ride with me, heard the grinding himself, but once again said he didn’t know what the issue was. Now, two months later, my brakes are still grinding. When I followed up, he told me he didn’t know what he wanted me to do since the work had already been warranted. I spent a lot of money here and expected the problem to be properly diagnosed and fixed, not repeatedly dismissed. I’m extremely disappointed with the service and lack of resolution. I would not recommend this place.
