I love these guys! I brought my Kia in with some weird issues that previous places couldn’t really give me a straight answer/actual fix for and Sean figured out both pretty quickly. The communication was great every step of the way, the prices were super reasonable and no upselling anything. Just good, honest, skilled mechanics. If you’re a female and the idea of taking your car in gives you anxiety because you don’t want to deal with a shop telling you your car needs a bunch of unnecessary crap, I can’t recommend Hi Tek enough. John & Sean were awesome!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR GIRLS WHO ARE INTIMIDATED TO GO TO A MECHANIC ALONE ! Jose took care of my car and let me tell you, I have never felt more safe and welcomed by a mechanic before! He was gentle, kind, and informative! He made sure to find out exactly what was wrong with my car AND also showed me what the problem was and gave me as much insight on my car as possible. There was another gentleman I interacted with when I dropped off my car for repair and he too was very very kind to me. Love this shop! Will definitely be bringing my car back whenever it needs maintenance!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP! I’ve been seeing Jose for my car needs since I moved to California 3 years ago. Since the first phone call, I recognized kindness in his voice. He was the first person to look at my car since my 2 week cross country road trip and I fell in love with the place immediately. As a woman I have experienced poor service with mechanics more times than not. They don’t always explain in detail and are almost always rude in some way. As well as trying to convince me to let them perform unnecessary services just to jack up the price. Jose and everyone at Hi-Tek has always been VERY kind and honest with me. They’ve even thoroughly guided me on how to do my own oil change one of the times I came in because I was so eager to learn. I’ve lived in Los Angeles for 2 years and I always make the drive down to Costa Mesa to see Jose because nobody else has treated my car like it’s their own like he has. It is well worth the drive.
