I sent my friend here for an oil change because they have ok prices, however upon inspection she was told her brakes are shot and that her axle is broken. She called me in a panic so I went down to see what happened. This a-hole mechanic told my young female friend she needed to pay almost $1000 for absolutely unnecessary repairs. If the axle was broken the car would not drive. The mechanic tried to tell me it was "just the boot that was broken but you need to replace the whole axle" nah homie. I been a mechanic for over a decade. The boot is $11 and takes five minutes to replace. She didn't need anything but oil. She literally bought tires from this place a couple weeks ago so I fail to see how they needed rotating either. Brakes had 90% life left and you told her they were done. You tried to take advantage of my friend. Karma will get you.

For years this was my favorite tire shop, until my last visit. The manager working the afternoon of 2/12/19 should be fired (or at least sent to a customer service training seminar to learn the value of retaining loyal customers). The week earlier, after agreeing to a fair price for tires/tax/install, I gave Mesa Tire a credit card over the phone to special order my BF Goodrich tires. Note: I did not even negotiate the price given as it was a fair price. That same price was confirmed when I dropped the car off, to the penny, but when I went to pick the car up the price was hundreds of dollars more and then the manager would not accept my credit card number. After arguing, he finally honored the original price but he did not trust me enough to accept the credit card number. I will never return to this store if this is the way they treat long time customers. It is unfortunate that Alex is no longer working at this location as he knew how to treat customers with respect. The guy working Wednesday afternoon should learn how to value customers with trust and respect especially after spending several thousands of dollars at that store in the last month alone. I will be looking for a new tire store that values my business and does not try to slide one past me regarding the price.

Worst place to go if you have a flat tire and you need help. They will blackmail the hell out of you with different prices and then ask you to go to a different tire shop if you tried to negotiate. It happened with me several times. Other tire stores repair a flat tire for $20. This store will ask for $30 and then offer to do it at $25. This was my go to store, and I really liked it but they have Jacked up their prices quite a bit and the performance has been bad.

Had a long nail stuck in my back rear tire and asked how much to remove it and They charge $30 to fix a flat tire for you. Most shops within the same area do it for $20 or less I stopped by here since it was closest to me but if you drive down to harbor right next to Jack there’s American tires. They inspect and fix it for free if the object isn’t on the outer tire thread. Dude who’s a manager I assume has a terrible attitude.

This place was great, I will be coming back if my car has any future issues. It was a quick turn around at a good price with clear communication so that's really all one can ask for. The diagnostic investigation was cheap to get an estimate. Called me back in under 2hrs with an update that they found the leak/broken part. Provided me the quote over the phone with the exact price for everything all in (Diagnostic fee, parts, labor, install, with fluids topped off). They completed it all the same day and paid exactly what was quoted. Car no longer leaks and they stand behind their work for 2 years with a warranty.

Honestly they deserve a top rating. They really took care of me. I had been inflating my passenger side front tire day and night to keep it working for many days. Very tedious, annoying and often cold 🥶 I thought it just needed to be patched to be repaired. They found it was punctured on the inside of the tire, which couldn’t be fixed so it needed to be replaced. The driver side read tire had split, so that too needed to be replaced. New tires would normally cost around $1,000 😬 Fortunately they found two use Michelin Pilot Sport Pros for my Tesla on site. They gave me a price that fit my budget, so we had a deal 🤝 They really made my day and saved me from an accident or worse. They have a customer in me for life now, and hopefully anyone who reads this also becomes their customer too ❤️

Sent my wife in with two brand new tires to have them mounted. On the way home she noticed the car was riding ruff and bouncy. In the morning I checked the tire pressure which was 47 psi cold! way over the 42 psi it should be. A day later she said the car was shacking badly at 60+ mph so I took it for a ride and noticed the same thing. Told her to go back to Mesa Tires and have them rebalance the wheels. Upon arrival she was told by "Joe " that they do not balance the rear wheels because they are just following the front wheels ???? What a bunch of BS! The incompetence and lying is mind blowing at this place. " Joe " told her that they could check the car out for vibrations at a additional $45 and assured her its not the rear wheels. Took the car to a real tire shop and had them check the wheels. They were shocked to find old weights on the wheels with the new tires. I took pictures of how bad the imbalance was. So please find " Joe " something less technically demanding to do, sweeping the floor would be a good start.

Had been here a couple of times and won’t be going back. One of the last times I went one of the guys broke my lug nuts but decided to go back because of the service I had received from the two other guys that are there. Today the owner Luis gave me confirmation that I wouldn’t be going back. I went in to get my wheels installed. He came out and made a face and said he couldn’t do it because it was going to take a long time to do it. I understand that some services require more time but as a business owner he could’ve had different approach to this situation.

Luis and Richard did a professional job diagnosing the issue with my brake system. My car is a bit different than most when it comes to the brakes and the computer system that runs them but they correctly identified the issue that another mechanic was not able to and took care of the problem so I could drive home confidently. They communicated well and helped me understand what was going on when I asked questions about it. I would return for a brake service/pad or rotor replacement here because I trust their judgement.

Don't go to MESA TIRE place it's too expensive they wanted to charge me close to 800 dollars to replace a water pump water pump only was 70 dollars. Go to California brake works and auto repair this business gives you a fair price
