Do not take your Motorcycle to Geoff Gates / Cycle Doctor. My bike broke down about 60 miles after I picked it up from Geoff shop. They caused $3800 worth of damages that had to be repaired by another shop. Geoff or his Mechanic replaced a Primary Chain Adjuster that was not included on my original estimate and it failed, one of the Adjuster bolts was not installed correctly and ended up breaking. The broken bolt stuck into my primary and bent the crank only on the primary side. (Only one Side of the Crank Bent) I had to pull my bike from this shop because Geoff gave me estimate of 4-6 grand to fix his faulty mechanic work. I had to file complaint against him and his shop to the B.A.R. He has now said said that the only way for him to take responsibility is to file a claim with his insurance. I will now have to get the courts involved to get compensated for his shop faulty work. Word advice don't take your bike to this shop, he has also said he doesn't warranty his shop work that says a lot about this shop. I have attached a picture of the broken Primary Chain adjuster bolt. Unfortunately I had to write a review kinda bummer when all Geoff had todo was take responsibility for his shop faulty work on a part that had no issue before he changed it to make a couple extra bucks. I do not Stunt my Harley, Geoff has many excuses for his faulty work. Geoff Gates is a LIAR and the flywheel did not shift on the Crank. The B.A.R can not resolve the case so unfortunately the court had to.

Went from stock horsepower, temp and mileage to over 50% more torque, 10 degrees cooler and around 10 mpg better. All with questions and insight that allowed me to make my own choices on what to do and not to do. Never pushy, always courteous and straight shooting. Absolutely zero complaints. Even email tech support far after service had ended. I take my bike 14 hours one-way to have these guys do their thing. Engine magicians! Updated May 2019: Took in a 1957 FL. With giving them reasonable time frame expectations, the staff went through the bike accurately and in detail. There was communication throughout the process of unknown issues arising through deconstruction allowing me to make my choice of repair. Net result is what the customer wants based on all the information requested. I will continue to use Cycle Doctor, and I recommend them to others.

I recently went to this establishment for a simple oil change and left there with a check engine light. I gave the owner an opportunity to come clean and let me me know if he had tampered with my tuner or anything else related and he said "nope". After looking into it further I found that was lie! He claims to be a man of God with all his signs in the office but I doubt that's true either. I would stay far away from this shop, it's clear he's not capable of running an honest business.

The owner Jeff has an attitude problem. He worked on my bike prior an its miss firing. I am in the neighborhood an stop by to talk about bringing my bike in. He won't talk to me in person an tells me to go on line an make an appointment. I spent 3500 at your shop, an you want me to make an appointment. SORRY MR. DELICATE GENIUS!!!

Had Geoff convert my 883 with 1275 Hammer Performance kit. He took the time to call Hammer to get specs to ensure everything would run well as he was not too familiar with these kits. Very impressed how he took his time to inquire and do research to ensure the performance and expectation was met. True professional and master mechanic. He also Dyno tuned my bike and couldn't be more happier. He does get a bit busy but you would expect that from good mechanics. Would recommend Cycle doctor as your bike will be in good hands.

I recently took my bike to Cycledoctor for a maintenance service and a dyno tune to ensure it runs at its best. Geoff has been working on mg bike since I purchased it back in 2010. His shop is one of the best in Southern California. He always does great work and at reasonable prices. First, I searched for and called all of the motorcycle shops in OC to compare the parts and labor for my HD Bobber, and CycleDoctor was the most reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about Geoff and Cycle Doctor. Took my '24 Road Glide in for pipes, tune and suspension upgrade and the difference is amazing! Even though we ran into a few issues because the bike was so new (not Geoff's fault) Geoff offered solutions and communicated with me on a regular basis until my bike was ready to ride. If you want to sit around and BS with the owner and talk about all the bikes you have owned in your life, don't go to Cycle Doctor. But if you want a consummate professional who knows just about all there is to know about Harley Davidson motorcycles, take your bike to Cycle Doctor.

These guys are great. I had them can tune and put exhaust on. The bike runs solid and much faster. Had a small leak on the push rods and Geoff took it and resealed it quickly and at no extra cost. I would recommend cycle doctor to anyone!

No frills, no bulls#%t. Simply expert Harley Davidson repair from guys that take pride in their work and do it right the first time. Geoff changed the exhaust on my '98 FLHRC to true dual and then dialed it in on the dyno. It runs perfect - smooth through the whole power range. Just got back from a 3,000 mile road trip without a single problem. It doesn't hurt that Geoff and Steve are also good people.

2020 Road Glide - it’s been tuned multiple times and each time an issue would arise and I could tell I didn’t pick the right place. This is the right place. When I saw the reply to my inquiry I knew this is where my bike needs to be. Geoff will talk for days about tuning and it was worth the ride.
