Jeff offered to have the dealership contact him directly to make arrangements to test drive and inspect the car and then contacted me with an extremely thorough report! Hands down the best shop I've found for car repairs. A very honest man runs this shop and that is very hard to find anywhere these days. He will not try to sell you parts and repairs you dont need. He will explain what is wrong and what is needed and answer all your questions. He works on all my family members cars. Never had an issue with any of his work. Prices are on par with the competition but without all the bull.

I highly recommend Hicks’ Professional Automotive. I originally called Hicks’ when my family mechanic was being dismissive of my concerns and was “beating around the bush” (which I obviously did not appreciate, as I felt very unsafe driving my car, and my prior mechanic said it should be safe to drive). I went to Hicks’ with my car and they were upfront and honest, using a process of elimination to try to determine the issue. Overall the consensus was that I bought a lemon car and I decided to get rid of it and purchase a new one - which I then had Hicks’ check out for me (at a very reasonable price) and have taken my car to Hicks’ ever since. They got my car in same-day recently for what may be considered a minor issue, but I was really nervous to drive it and they fixed it right up and put my mind at ease, for a very reasonable price. As a college student working full time trying to make ends meet, I really appreciated their care and prices for the work they’ve done on my cars thus far. I recommend these guys to everyone I know and plan on being a loyal customer for a long time!

Hicks was recommended to me several months ago by a family friend who spoke very highly of them. I've since taken several cars of mine there several times. These dudes are so good. Their prices are fair and the work is very good. I've never had any issues with the repairs themselves as they have diagnosed and fixed everything properly the first time. And they've legitimately saved me hundreds if not thousands. A few months ago i had a different repair shop tell me the engine was dying on a car that kept stalling several times a day and only fix was complete engine replacement. I brought the car to hicks for a 2nd opinion. They made 1 simple $100 repair and it never stalled again. They have become my go-to repair shop. Can't recommend highly enough.

Steve had incredible insight and customer service over the phone. I called to ask about pricing for new front brake pads and rotors. They had the best price around at $330 before tax. I was also concerned about a grinding noise whenever I turned my car to the right and mentioned that I thought it could be the CV Joint (based on my Google degree haha). While working on my car, Steve called back to tell me all the concerns I had about my car were due to the brakes and I would be good as new after they fixed them. I was so happy to hear this and it solidified my trust in this business! On top of that, we were able to negotiate a price on an oil change because he price matched what I normally pay. Thank you to the kind mechanics and their great, quality, fair-priced work!!

I don't know what happened with Hicks! I didn't bring a car to them in 2 and half years. Not that I wouldn't have brought my car or van down there. In the past I had awsome work down by them. Let me start from the beginning I had a flat tire on my van chev astro it was a Saturday so I took the tire off and brought the tire and rim down to bjs wholesale it was Saturday. We'll I ordered the tires there. If they where open I would have ordered the tires b at Hicks. So I went home well I noticed when I got home the front brakes on the van was metal to metal I had the car jacked up on stann̈ds it was going to be 2weeks for the tires to come in. So the van is all jacked up already. I don't do heavy work on my cars any more. Changing pads aren't to bad and have two weeks to do it. We'll im almost 70 years old. Im 2 weeks I did a brake job. Well I put the spare on and headed to bjjs wholesale 2 blocks before I got to bjs the drivers wheel fell off hard.i called AAA it was the wrong wheel and going to have the front end checked. Well I got the new tires on. And now I stopped on my way home at Hicks to make an appointment to have the front end checked and greased this was on Wednesday so we set it up for the following Monday night to check the van oh the van had 225000. Miles on the van with no front end work done to it since I owned it.i dropped it off on Monday night . I stopped by on Tuesday around 3pm. They said they just got it on the rack and I was expecting most of the front end parts needing replaced not looking forward to that. Well I got a call around 430pm and Hicks said would I be willing to pay 100.00 . I asked him for what expecting a part went bad. Well Hicks started getting mad at me! Oh I said no on the hundred dollars thinking to myself who pays for a front end checked. The grease job yes 20 or 30dollars for it. I never heard of paying for a front end checked. I was fully expecting to pay for parts and labor to repair the front end. The van had 225000 miles on it and the wheel just fell off. Well Hicks told me to pick the van up and I wasn't aloud tobring the van back again. I said I will pay the 100.00. Hicks said no just pick it up. In closing I don't know what I did wrong. I used to work at 3 dealership as a full time mechanic back in the 80s. I think Hicks was having a bad day and I would of waited to have it checked another day I took the van somewhere else and they didn't charge me for a check of front end. If Hicks wanted to charge me for the check let me know ahead of time. Kyle
