We’ve had our 2024 Kia Sorento X-Line Ex serviced at Montrose three times now. The first time was for two manufacturer recalls pertaining to software updates, the second time was for our vehicle’s first regularly recommended service, and this last time was for an issue with our front, ultrasonic sensors. I cannot say enough how professional, knowledgeable, and friendly everyone is in the Service Department and Parts Department! Bob Symanski was our service advisor this last time and our Master Service Tech who diagnosed our sensor issue was 100% accurate in his assessment and what new part we needed! We will definitely have our Sorento only serviced here! As an aside, while we did not purchase our Sorento from them, I would definitely give Montrose a shot as the Sales staff are super friendly and knowledgeable as well! Keep up the GREAT work!

Appointment times don’t mean they will service your car at that time. I came in and waited for an oil change and tire rotation and the car hadn’t moved from the parking lot to the service area for at least one hour after the appointment time. I called my wife to be picked up after waiting an hour for the work to begin. I’m not sure how long I would have waited. Best to drop off the car for even a simple service.

Service was prompt and the Assistant Service manager was great ! I’m sorry I don’t have his name but he had to endure my venting when I was told the amount of my service that was done ! With that being said of course I did have a problem with the 15k service package and the other mileage packages because I was never told about these. . When I purchased my vehicle it was never brought to my attention about the service and prices. I was not expecting to pay 300$ for my service on 8-5-25!! Also I was never informed of the extreme pricing of yearly tags for the vehicle for one year it was 160$. That’s ridiculous… due to gas tax?? I still purchase gas and pay tax. I say this was a very lax of information by the salesman and service department when I purchased the vehicle. Had I known how expensive these routine maintenance fees and other expenses I would have never purchased the vehicle. Your customers need to be informed , educated and communicated to, to make their best decision !

I went on to have 2 tire replaced. I was given one quote over the phone for all the work that would need to get done. I make an appointment then when I get there it's more expensive than what I was quoted at. They refused to honor it. Then after paying the car start pulling to the left after it just had an alignment done. All the tires have different psi and that how they gave it to me. I call the dealership but they just took a message. Don't go here. *Update I spoke to the service manager face to face he had the alignment redone but refused to do anything about the alignment refund because and I quote "the representative told you about it the day of and you still continued to have the work done." Even though the representative I spoke to on the phone didn't mention anything about it. I did how ever get only $10 for a mount and balance quote. $89 +tax still not refunded. The sales manager said he agreed that I should have gotten a full refund for the alignment. The sales manager just said that he couldn't do anything about the service but if I bought something from sales he would try to reimburse me there. Again don't go to this Dealership. It's not the brand it's the dealership.

8-10-23 I took my 2014 Kia Sportage in for an engine related issue, the engine needed to be replaced and the exhaust system was also replaced. 8-11-23 I was on my way home from work and the front of the started shaking and I felt something fall out of it on the highway!!! I lost control of the vehicle after what ever it was blew and shredded the front tire, Kia will not even look at my car until Monday, and no loaner car was offered for this inconvenience. Side note: my Sportage was in for service again 3-22-24 for the smell of gasoline and a leak caused by a clamp on the fuel line not being tightened properly, two days missed work for this and I finally get the car back and now the check engine light is on!!! If your Kia needs service take it somewhere other than Montrose Kia!!!

Purchased my wife’s brand new 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid from here. With approximately 4500 miles on the vehicle it intermittently but repeatedly errored “Check Hybrid System. Stop Safely” and would go into “limp mode” without the ability to accelerate, coasting at 30mph. After two separate visits to MONTROSE Kia for service we were told they could not find the source of the error nor “duplicate” it so there was no service provided. We also were not provided a courtesy loaner vehicle while the vehicle was being assessed. After calling a separate Kia dealership who provided us with a courtesy loaner vehicle free of charge, they were able to fit our vehicle into the work day and upon VISUAL inspection, they identified rodent damage to an oil sensor that was causing the issue. I would NEVER recommend MONTROSE Kia to any customer, solely on the service department quality and lack of resolution to problems. Validating the level of frustration of a customer is far from a solution to a problem that could have ended terribly if not resolved.

I was there for almost 2 hours for an oil change. I had to tell the person checking out at the end that I have the oil package in my monthly payment after they tried to charge me $100 for an oil change. Had to wait another 5 min to fix that paper work to still be charged $31 for tire rotation. Then was told let them know the next time and they can charge it separately and the tire rotation will be free. Sounds like a scam of a system charging people what you want when you want.
