I specifically asked them to troubleshoot a specific warning light. However they did a full car inspection and charged me accordingly. This was not made clear to me until afterwards. I don't feel that their business practices are fully honest, or good for someone looking for affordable but trustworthy services. For some services, they charge more than the Toyota dealership.

Fred and Co. at High Road Automotive have consistently, and over the course of more than 35 years, given me excellent service, thoughtful advice, and delivered on their promises. They have always treated me as an equal partner in the care of my vehicles. I’ve never felt talked down to or dismissed because I don’t always understand the mechanics of the car. When contemplating buying a new car, one of the first questions I ask is whether we can have High Road work on it. Not the cheapest shop around, but very thorough and communicative. If you want the cheapest quick and dirty job, look elsewhere. But if you want to have total confidence that your car is in good shape and you aren't missing any important maintenance items, these guys are the go-to. I plan to drive my car for 300k miles, and these are the guys who will help me.

I have an older vehicle that I really love, and I’m very loyal to! I needed some upkeep, maintenance, and repairs on brakes, rotors, axle, struts, etc. I had done some checking at a couple of different places to get opinions of what needed to be done before I coming to High Road auto because the cost was pretty significant for the repairs I needed. High Road found that the repairs Toyota had told me I needed were not necessary and were able to fix it for less much than the cost of what Toyota had quoted me. I’m very happy with the customer service I received, as they were very attentive and thorough about explaining what was being done each step of the way. I would definitely return and use this shop again! They also provided me with a loaner car, while my car was being repaired, which I really appreciated! Top notch place and would highly recommend!

High Road had been my vehicle service go-to for ten years. They are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, transparent, and helpful. I've enjoyed service visits as hands-off as "whatever you think it needs, please", and as hands-on as in-depth discussion of product pro-con or vehicle mechanics replete with experience and professional depth. The work itself has been excellent, old and new cars kept reliable, worry free and functioning smoothly. Emailed service reports are thorough and easy to read and understand. They keep meticulous records, and their communication (by text / email / phone) is timely and clear. I feel I've experienced not only flawless customer care, but also a genuine spirit of service to both customer and car at every visit - for ten years, at least twice a year, that's some incredible service consistency! Hey out there ! Looking for competency in an auto repair facility this outfit did fix an exhaust gas leak on my srt8 at clamped exhaust joint.However when check engine light continued to go off it was $498 to unplug and screw in a new pre catalytic sensor o.m.e. So after that the check engine light came on again same code bank 2, lean reading.I bought a $20.00 scan tool plug it in and it gave me a reading of "post catalytic " senser so think about it my 20$ tool identified which sensor was bad,this shop "the experts" read this code on their equipment and replaced at a 500$ cost to me the pre catalytic senser.I used the upper sensor they took out and installed it down pipe in 15 min....no check engine light.Use em at risk to your wallet!!

Brought in for rear brakes, tire rotation and oil change. Safety inspection found a sticky piston in the front caliper so had that done. They did a great job, my cars runs as good as new. It somehow runs better than when I brought it in so maybe a minor tune as well but not that I paid for? Anyways, super happy to keep my 7 year old subi mountain car in the game.

This is one of my saving graces- I named her Sunshine and literally everytime I bring her in to High Road Automotive - whether it be for a routine oil change or when they fixed some belt (I don't know much about cars) I have always noticed how much better my car drives. I've never experienced that before from a mechanic. Having a place to take my car and have that complete trust means so much to me and I feel so lucky I found them. Being a single female with little car knowledge it can be a little scary taking your car in so I am grateful I have a place full of competent people I trust. Bonus is Natasha is amazing! She is not only super helpful with outlining what is priority with maintenance for my car but she is also really an amazing human and has made my experiences with High Road that much more satisfying. We have had four different Hondas maintained by High Road since the early 1990's. An Accord, an Accord Wagon, a CR-V, and a Fit acquired with their assistance. The work was always exceptional and the service extraordinary. We enjoyed a long association with the two brothers until we moved out of Seattle.
