I got a flat tire on my way to work and Highland Park Mechanic Shop was the closest place for me to get my tire fixed. I ended up having other issues (which I knew already) and Tory and the guys took care of me! My car was fixed that day! New tire, brakes, and rotors! Everyone was nice, knowledgeable, and I never felt any pressure to get something I didn’t need! Definitely will be my go to mechanic shop and I will be back!!! Thank you for your service!!!

I had the best experience here. Took my car in for new tires and to have the brakes looked at, and when I picked my car up, my buttons for the entertainment system weren’t working. (After seeing how much work went into getting this problem fixed, I’m 100% confident it was just unfortunately coincidental timing of this issue and not anything they did to cause it). Regardless of them not causing the issue, Tory and Kass (sorry if I spelled wrong!) worked tirelessly to find a solution for me so that I wouldn’t have to go to the dealer - even down to researching online at home on their own time to help me out. They understood my busy schedule and got me in promptly whenever I had the time. I was lucky that they were able to fix my problem, but even if they hadn’t been able to, my review would be the same. They truly went above and beyond and I am so grateful. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience. I had to bring in my own tire out of the vehicle. Then the guy put the tire on the rim without even asking me if the tire was sufficient. Then when I walked back into the reception area, the gentleman did not ask me if I wanted a new tire or a used tire. They just put one on, and then he just said it’s a great tire, and told me it was $70. Tire places actually what it is that you want. They also make sure that you see what they’re buying before you buy it. I guess some people feel that it is not a big deal to be professional when you’re in the Tire business. But you’re still in business, and customers expect you to treat them with dignity and respect whether they’re paying $70, or $700. I will not be returning to this location, and I am highly encouraging anyone else to refrain from doing business at this location. I will go somewhere where they actually value your patronage.

If I could give it zero stars I would. They took an hour to change my tire. Burned my lug nuts off using a torch to change my tire. Gave me the wrong tire size and the tire was slit. I got this tire change Saturday 12/14/2024 on Sunday 12/15/2024. The tire is no good they told me I needed my suspension done to get more money out of me.

WORST SHOP EVER!!! Got work done back in march, only a few months later did I have them check a noise I was hearing to make sure it wasn’t the work they did and they tried to lie and have me get a transfer case (4x4) for 1100 that I didn’t need. Tory was EXTREMELY unprofessional. Constantly telling me when I pull off that it had nothing to do with them. Just for me to go to another shop and get the same parts properly fixed and changed for less. Mind you Tory had me Finance $1400 for the work they didn’t properly do. Then didn’t offer nothing but attitude and told me he wouldn’t refund it after he tried to offer me free work. If you’d didn’t fix what i paid for then why would I let you play under my car for free especially when i have kids?!?! Let’s not forget that I pulled up and paid for a diagnosis with no lights on my dash board but when I returned to get my car it had 4 lights on. And he again told me it didn’t have anything to do with him. Just rude! I wouldn’t recommend this SHOP at all!

I didn’t want to give no stars at all on this crook Tory because, I called this guy to put a bottom radiator hose on my Audi A6 that was $140 from O’Reillys and told him this numerous times the bottom hose right side and he said the part will be there at 2:30pm and he called me at 2:48pm saying car is ready and said I put on what you asked for and said I have bad news the car still leaking and I think it’s your radiator and I’ll charge you $450 extra to do that so you want me to change it now so I said no I’m coming to get my car so when I arrive with my sister he was already writing things down on the receipt already saying he added two gallons of anti-freeze which he didn’t added cause he poured water in there cause fluid on the ground was clear fluid like water and my car was in same position as the tow truck dropped it off and you have to turn the tire and go inside wheel well to change bottom hose which he couldn’t do cause he’s hard up for money scamming people. When we paid for the car labor and parts it came out to $270 which he said $90 for labor and $140 for hose and $20 for fluid and this is the kicker right here he put on the receipt that he changed the upper radiator hose that I didn’t tell him to changed and O’Reillys said the upper hose is $80 which is a $60 dollar difference and he’s arguing me about saying he don’t know why they charge him $140 for the upper and mind you not this is words from a scammer talking cause he couldn’t justify it about the price difference and the next day I took it to another shop in Redford and he changed the bottom hose on the radiator which Tory was suppose to do and the leak is gone and car running fine and this company will get shutdown cause he didn’t know my sister is a government enforcement that will shut his lawyer mouth in matter of seconds and I see why it wasn’t no customers there cause he do bad work and scam people for a living and I wouldn’t recommend NOBODY to come here. Didn’t have the cost of the hose on the receipt either. Also going to the police to file a complaint that he scamming on citizens in there city.

I brought my journey here they had my car done very fast it was done in 2 days. The owner is very knowledgeable and is very nice and polite. Very reasonable with pricing also. I even took my car back there because it was overheating and he replaced the thermostat for free. I will definitely be taking my journey back here. I will drive the hour that it takes for me to get down here. Ty for all the hard work on my car.

I went in for a simple alignment, which was quoted at $90. I explained that my car had been in an accident and that some parts might be damaged. The mechanic told me that if parts were bent, the alignment might not fix the issue, and that I could pay an extra $60 for a diagnostic to check first. I explicitly declined the diagnostic and told them to just perform the alignment, accepting the risk that it might not fix the problem. After my car was taken in and lifted, the mechanic returned and said he couldn’t do the alignment because parts were bent, and that another part on the other side also needed replacement. Because the alignment could not be completed, I refused any other repairs. The shop then tried to charge me the full $90 for the alignment, arguing that lifting the car up was enough to charge me for the entire alignment cost. Since I felt pressured, I ended up paying $60 for a diagnostic that I explicitly declined. From my understanding of Michigan's Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act, shops are not supposed to charge for work that is not completed or for services that weren't authorized. I felt this entire situation was unfair and misleading. I do not recommend this place and I will be filing a complaint. Edit: I got a second opinion on my car, it doesn’t have bent parts and I can safely get an alignment done. This mechanic just wanted to sell me unnecessary replacement parts and since I’m just a girl they thought I would throw money at them for anything!! Literal scammers.
