Customer service and relaying updates was horrible. If I had a dollar for every time the guy at the counter told me “if I hear something new you’ll know 30 seconds after I do” and would go days and days without anything. After spending over 2,000$ on a complete rebuild a connecting rod bolt was either over torqued, or left loose, and my car made it 25 miles and detonated and ruined the block, crank, rods, everything I just had serviced. The thing that pisses me off the most is they towed my vehicle to some backyard mechanic to have the engine removed and installed, and then told ME to go drive 35 minutes north and pick it up. The only good thing that came out of this was they paid for their mistake and covered the cost of the second rebuild, I wouldn’t have paid a penny regardless, but it’s cool they stood behind their work. Unfortunately I won’t be using this machine shop ever again, strictly due to the poor communication and customer service skills after being left in the dark for almost 2 weeks and having to call MYSELF for any update or information. They always had something to tell me when I called, so why not take 3 minutes out of your day to keep a customer happy and call them to update? I don’t get it.

These guys built a H22 motor for my son's Honda Civic. My son converted to run on e85 and 21 psi of boost from the turbo it's been going a few years now and it's amazing how well it's held up!! Great work guys you really know your stuff.

I've been using their services off and on throughout the years. Great and honest guys. They won't over charge you or tell you you need something you honestly don't. The prices are pretty reasonable and they do great work. Never had an issue with their machine work. Made the mistake of going to a cheaper machine shop in grand rapids. My crank bearings were shot after break in.

Overcharged to correct the angle on an intake manifold, got it wrong, and then charged me again to fix it. I've had terrible luck with every other machine shop on this side of the state so I thought I'd give them a shot. They charged me $250 to cut the faces of an intake manifold to the specs I provided and proceeded to overshoot the angle by .010" per face. When I brought it back for them to fix THEIR mistake they charged me another $60. Valley performance in Ionia is the only machine shop I will be retuning to

Work was mediocre at best, charged for decking yet there was no decking done. Added labor without notice. Price was ridiculous for the work I was given, rod bolts were returned stripped resulting in premature failure. Would not recommend anyone with a hot rod or street/strip motor to bring their motors here.
