They’re good guys, and maybe it’s just the name of the game. However they were going to charge me $1,600 dollars to change my spark plugs, oil cooler, and camshaft sensors, all within what they said “4 hours of work”. If that was the case then that should’ve been an $800 job including parts and $100 an hour for labor (being generous). They double the prices on car parts to make more money. I found another mechanic who did it all for $700, and he also said that if these guys looked at my engine like they said during the “diagnosis check”, they would’ve taken out the mouse nest that was in there, and he also said that they didn’t even take the engine apart to actually look at my spark plugs!!

My experience with boulevard auto over the last 6 years has been nothing but exceptional! These guys are very straight forward. They will always give you the best advice that they have to offer on any repair. Vern and Kurt are very honest mechanics. They have always run a very reliable and upstanding business. My father sent all of his auto repair needs for the last 20 years to Boulevard. Just recently they gave me some bad news on a break down that happened. Three out of four of my cylinders had lost compression. Kurt took the time to research all of my options and worked with me to decided what was best for me financially and practically. In the end I decided to purchase a new used vehicle. I have had countless used vehicles inspected at Boulevard Auto and many times they will find something wrong that I would not have found on my own. Then they take the time to chat with me on the pros and cons of purchasing the vehicle, even taking me back into the shop at times to show me what they found. I cannot begin to describe how often these guys have helped me out. If i could give them a better rating i would. That being said, be patient with Boulevard. They are genuinely great people, but they can be a little busy at times. Trust me, its worth the wait to know you are having reliable and trustworthy work done to your vehicle!!! No I do not know these guys outside of their business, but i will never go anywhere else for my auto repair needs

My dad always said find a mechanic you can trust. Well, I can honestly say I've found one at Boulevard. They are honest, caring, and thorough. My daughters have brought their cars in too, and they have not only worked on their cars, but have educated my daughters on their car and how a they should be treated by an auto shop. I'm so thankful for Boulevard Auto. In a world where our cars break down, it is so valuable to have a good mechanic and Boulevard is just that!

When I brought my car in for an estimate for repairs on 1/19/2024, I got a call giving me details on what would need repaired & was told they could not do all the repairs themselves. Also telling me it's probably a good idea to just replace the whole engine. Unbelievable. Then was asked to pay over $200 for the estimate of just looking over. I argued and said that I was only coming in for an estimate & the employee came back with "well you know people need to get paid for their services". I would not recommend Boulevard it's almost as bad as Dealerships High Price mechanic knowledge.

Reliable and fair. I've taken our truck here for various work and it's always been done on time with quoted price. Came in last time with some brake vibration and Kurt found an issue caused by faulty parts from prior work and repaired it under warranty. I have been going to Boulevard Auto for about 2 years now after losing my last good mechanic. Kurt and his team have always been exceptional to me. I have older vehicles and BA has always serviced them well at a fair price. With four kids driving, it is hard to "wait" on service, but Kurt and his team have pulled off some miracles to get us back on the road quickly and safely. I had a kid car transmission go out this year and the dealership quoted me $6,000 for a new transmission - not including service! Kurt found me a used transmission with only 36,000 miles on it for a quarter of the price and could even do the diagnostic to link up the transmission with the car's computer. As a Holland native, finding a fair, honest mechanic that does quality work and communicates well during repairs (who likes surprises?) has always been important to me. I highly recommend Boulevard Auto. You will be happy with the results in the long-term. KS

Boulevard Auto is by far the best in town. We can't say enough of the quality service that we have received for many years.. Honest, reliable and the only place we trust our vehicles with. Kurt has been honest, truthful and upfront with all our needs from tune-ups to being able to drive in and have him check a service light that comes on. He has taken good care of my mom's vehicles and that means a lot that we can trust him and know that he won't take advantage of her. It's hard to find a good, honest mechanic these days.........
