I've used Hank's auto for about 6 years now. I have never EVER had an unfriendly experience there ... EVER. They and the owner are the absolute nicest people to deal with. Most importantly, they are the most honest business i've dealt with. Very upfront with labor and costs. They take me out to their shop to show me exactly what is wrong and what they need to do to fix it. Very knowledgeable and very very fair. And regarding cost, they are the least expensive shop in Holland. I've priced work out in the past and they are consistently MUCH less expensive than the alternatives. Excellent shop and very VERY highly recommended.

They are fast, efficient and thorough. I came in and told them my car was a death trap and I didn't feel safe in it (control arms were going out) so they scheduled me right away. They worked with me to fix what needed to be fixed and what could wait because I was strapped on cash. This is my second time using them and I'll definitely go to them for all my car repairs. They had my car in and out so I wasn't without transportation for long. The staff is super helpful and kind!

I loosen a bolt see if they would scam a ppl sure enough they replace the whole thing with out just tighting it back .. get estimate do your homework ppl befor it happens to you

The whole team at Hanks was outstanding! While on a roadtrip from Tennessee to the U.P., I encountered a CEL and needed service to address it. Luckily I found the right guys, they get me in right away and addressed the issue. You never know who to trust when you're out of town but I could not be more pleased with their service. Not only did they fix the issue within 2 hours and for a VERY resonable price, they also did not try to upsale and was very straightforward on what was needed and what could wait. I could not recommend these guys more!!!!

I’ve taken my car to Hank’s twice now. Once for an exhaust leak which they fixed in a day. And most recently for a diagnosis and fix of a high idle after I tried to fix it myself. There were a couple things that were causing the problem. But they were quick to find the solution and probably would have had the job done in a day or two if not for shipping times. Kurt is a very respectable dude and it’s always a great experience working with the shop. Their rates are more than fair and they do quality work. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer!

These guys are hands down the best in West Michigan. They are friendly and have a good staff on deck. I came in to get my resonators welded and they got me in and out. The welds were phenomenal. Highly recommended + very knowledgeable! I would come back here on all my exhaust repairs & welds!

He was completely forthcoming with me about diagnostic, didn't nickel and dime , quickly made an error right , and then took care of me just to make it right once over. Honest, Reliable, and Went Above and Beyond I can't recommend Hank's Auto in Holland enough. Kurt and his team are the REAL DEAL—honest, skilled, and care about getting it RIGHT. I was traveling from Michigan to New York when my old Camry started having major electrical issues driving through snow. Kurt ran a full diagnostic and replaced the crankshaft sensor, but when the problem returned, he brought the car back in and fixed it at no extra charge. No upselling—just honest work until the job was done right. Kurt has over 20 years of experience, and it shows. He made sure the car was running smoothly and safely before I left. This car was my only way home, so I'm DEEPLY GRATEFUL for his integrity and expertise. If you're looking for a trustworthy auto repair shop in West Michigan, Hank's Auto is it.
