My wife was referred to this shop because of a broken car window. They communicated clearly in terms of our options for repair and charged us a diagnostic fee which was fair. Although we did not go through with the repairs they were nice enough to secure our window in the up position to protect from the incoming rain. I would recommend this business. Thank you.

These guys will look you right in the face and rip you off. Every time I went to these guys, my bill was unnecessarily between $1000-$2000. They even quoted me $1700 to replace my front bumper and hood, but I went to three other places willing to do it for $900-$1000. Long story short on this case, my service engine light had a malfunction where it would turn on every 60-100 miles, so these con artists would run the price up on me. I realized their scam ways when I specifically asked for my brake pads to be replaced. Then Matt sends me a diagnostic report telling me that I needed to replace my front struts and some other stuff which would cost me $3400 in total. Before damn near losing consciousness, I told him to no longer touch my car (I literally had new struts put in two months prior). I hope these con artists see this message too and stop texting me about how it's time to bring my car in for a check up. TUH.

After I call for inquire about the price for the repair of blow engine head gasket they tool me they need to check my pickup truck a 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 hemi 5.7 liter, after picking up the truck they charge me a rip of pocket for a check up, something that was unnecessary. Due they was overcharging me for everything including the parts, and labor around 4,000 dollars more that 3 time what the truck cost me at the beginning, it seems to be a dishonest mechanic. I didn't have more time and funds to repair the RAM 1500 that was in bad conditions, and I was in a situation with out a home to live. With the need to have properly repair on time, I decided to fix the engine my self, the cost in parts didn't exceed the price the mechanic was charging me, in additional i needed to replace two piston that was damage. In the estimate he charge for a head gasket around $ 300 dollar something that just cost me in a eBay Order no more that $ 80 dollars. It's was less expensive and more efficient the repair of the RAM 1500 my self, rather that paying some mechanics expensive it would been a scam. When in time to get mechanic it's a total headache.

The Sunroof of My Jeep Compass Was Miss aligned and Couldn't Shut anymore and had it taped up with a plastic cover for months and didn't know it was Possible to be fixed since everyone I went to saying I need a new sunroof and I refused to pay more for what my car was worth. So I headed down to hunts point auto and they gave me the best reasonable proce to fix it and I an very pleased with the work they did to fix my sunroof! And it literally took them one day to fix which was ever better and to My Surprise which I didn't know they would do my car had so much glue residue from the duck tapes I've been using on it and was just thinking how hard it would be to get this off and they literally cleaned it all up for me without my knowledge that they would. And I am so very grateful for that because they really went above and beyond with this work and I couldn't be anymore happier and recommend anyone going there to know they are in very good hands with professionals. Thank You once again Hunts point auto I really appreciate it!

I came in for a glass repair and jimmy and his team was so polite kind caring and even offered me lunch while I waited for my car to be service it’s so hard to find a genuine and honest, NO BS, repair shop in the bronx and I must say hunt point auto is definitely a place I feel I can trust I recommend you stop by especially if you’ve been having issues finding a trusted and professional repair shop. Waste of my time. Going on 2 weeks with a spreading crack in my windshield. Was told originally by Jim D that I could get the windshield replaced with a used one for $200 but every time I called back a different scammer dissatisfied with that agreement would tell me how sensitive the windshield was & that on two different occasions they'd tried to remove the windshield but they cracked the donor. I'd rather gouge my eyes out than give them the $500 I was finally quoted for parts & labor for a new windshield. I'll go to Safelite & pay the cost. Before I moved out of the Bronx I used to have my car worked on regularly in the neighborhood and I have never seen such a blatant bait & switch tactic in my 20 years associated with The Point. This was disgraceful. I've read the other reviews (wish I had done so first) so I'm sure there will be a bs excuse tacked on to my review in response but please DO NOT TRUST THESE SHARKS!!! Slight edit: Again for Jim D & his customer service I'll give them 1 more star. He is a stand up guy.

So Thursday my husband wakes up to his car with stolen airbag and driver side door messed up because the thief that stoled the airbag messed up my husband door to get in the car, as I park my car my husband look really sad, long story short, i searched this place in the internet but I prayed for guidance first and I felt I was directed here and Mr Freddy was very professional and helpful ,everyone in the shop where polite and nice, they placed the airbag and fixed the door within a few hours , when I seen my husband car I was happy mostly because my husband was happy again, I thank them and there great service. If anyone is looking to fix yhere car, this is the perfect place you won’t regret it if I can give 10stars would 🙏🏻

I recently visited this shop to have the rear door glass replaced, and that part of the service went smoothly. However, I was concerned to see a technician working under the hood without my authorization. When I asked what he was doing, I was told it was a “courtesy check” of fluids, tire pressure, and similar items. Afterward, I was presented with an estimate based on their findings. These included a “weak battery,” despite the battery being only three months old and recently replaced at a cost of $250. I was quoted $436.90 plus labor for a replacement. Another item was a cabin air filter, which typically costs $20 or less, quoted at $32.80 plus $97.45 in labor for what was described as duct disinfecting. With other items on list in total, the estimate came to $1,038.65. My concern is not the glass repair itself, which was done properly, but the practice of performing an unrequested inspection and presenting high-priced recommendations afterward. If I were not knowledgeable, this so-called “courtesy check” could have easily led to unnecessary repairs and high cost.

I took my van to hunts point Auto sales and service and man let me tell you they made me feel right at home and they was very informative. They installed four windows for me and they look perfect also they replaced my front windshield and recalibrated my camera and everything came out great. It rained for a few days after I receive my van and not one drop of water inside of my van. They did a great job and the customer service is awesome. If you need any repairs or services done to your vehicle please stop by this place and give it a try. I took my van to a few other places to have Port windows installed and they did not make me nor my wife comfortable. The customer service was poor half the time we was ignored and they wasn't not informative enough.
