While the review came to me as Hyundai Service it was actually Wyatt-Johnson Mazda in Clarksville, TN. My appointment was schedule for 7:15am. The doors opened as scheduled. I was cordially greeted and interviewed per my service request on-line. I was escorted to customer waiting. The customer service area was clean and well stocked. I was kept informed of the status of my requested work and informed of suggested additional services. All if all I was in the facility from 7:15am until 10:45am. A reasonable length of time. I was satisfied with all aspects of my visit.

Marvin Landry was attentive and thorough with my scheduled service. He also found a recall that needed to be done so we got that taken care of as well. I had to wait at the dealership this time and it took a few hours. I didn’t anticipate the long wait but their new service waiting area was comfortable, clean, and relatively quiet for a busy dealership. Thanks again to Marvin and the service/maintenance crew!

My service rep did not communicate well. Showed me 1 price and charged a more expensive price. If something changed it would have been fine to let me know but instead the price changed once the car was ready. The car runs great again this is why I gave 2 stars but dealing with my service rep made it a bad experience and I wouldn't trust to bring my vehicle back again.

Went in for a code on our 23 Tucson and the staff there was incredible. They were professional and kind. The conversation was welcoming and they were able to address the problem while making sure that I was kept aware of each step along the way. When there was going to be an extended wait, they immediately made me aware, worked to make sure I had options and respected my time and schedule and got me on my way. This is a great crew to work with and I cannot say enough about how well they communicate as a staff. Excellent crew.

I was met by the service advisor and he did a walk around of my vehicle. I was concerned when he had to check if they had the part needed, since I had this appointment scheduled for a long time. Fortunately, the part was in, but he could not tell me how long it would take. I had 2 children with me so I was relieved that the update was done in less than an hour. My car is working just fine, so I have no complaints about the update.

I was really disappointed with my recent service here. My service advisor, LT, did a good job, but everything else fell short. I brought my car in for an oil change and to check out a weird noise. They told me they couldn’t find the noise at first and needed to keep the car overnight. They also mentioned a few other issues, which I approved for repair. The next day, they called back saying the first tech had given the wrong recommendations, so a more experienced tech took over and found four additional issues. Even after all that, they still couldn’t tell me what was causing the noise, and it started up again just a day after I picked up my car. On top of that, they left the plastic seat cover and paper mat in my car, and they didn’t wash it—a courtesy I’ve always received at other dealerships. Now, I’m stuck having to pay for another inspection somewhere else to actually figure out the issue. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that really missed the mark.

Had my 2023 Elantra serviced there a few days ago. When I got home and checked my oil the level was well above the full mark. This can cause serious damage to the engine and shows that they don’t put much care into a vehicle that is a major financial investment for me. Hopefully Valvoline can take a quart or two out for me. Doesn’t give me much confidence that any of the work was done correctly. I will never let this place touch my car again. Also, they charged me $16 for shop expenses. I was told it was for day to day items like shop towels and gloves. I would simply call those the costs of doing business. I assume you’re making a profit the old fashioned way by selling products and services and it feels very scammy to have an arbitrary fee tagged on to my bill. I marked the level they filled the oil to in the picture. *edit: to their credit after reading this review they refunded me the cost of the oil change and the $16 shop charge.

I have had mixed experiences with this service department. My biggest complaint is that I have not been able to get an appointment for maintenance in less than 1 month some time closer to two. It doesn't matter wither it is for routine maintenance, a check engine light, or a factory recall. In my last experience, a few weeks ago, I had excellent communication and everything went great.Most other times, when my car was in, It has be rather poor. Once, after having my care for three days, they they only looked at a specific issue and did not do the routine maintenance as requested. I hope that the service I receive recently is due to improved customer service and not just by accident.

I've been a customer of the Wyatt Johnson dealership for 12 to 15 years now I have bought all my vehicles (5) from them. I went to have my vehicle serviced today due to a recall and also had them do the recommended service for the mileage on my wife's vehicle. They discovered during the inspection that my brakes needed/required service asap. When my service was completed and I paid for the service rendered, nobody told me that my brakes needed service too. It was about 40 to 45 minutes later that I received a text and email about my brakes needing service asap. The front brakes were worse than the back brakes. My issue here is that this is the second time they've done this at the Wyatt Johnson Hyundai dealership. The only dealership that I've experienced this with in the Wyatt Johnson dealerships. I did call and complain but I've came to the decision today that I want do business anymore with this dealership. I'd be very careful if you take your vehicle to the Wyatt Johnson Hyundai dealership, they won't get my business anymore after 12 years.

Service Department (Service Writers) needs to be honest and quite trying to get customers to get work that it wasn’t brought in for. For example they said my wife needed tires when the tires themselves are fine. Plus the service department needs to keep the customer informed on the car’s status / tracking. I have never had or heard of an issue back when the original owner ran the company before selling off a portion of the company. THIS WILL BE MY LAST HYUNDAI WE EVER OWN.

I scheduled my first service for my 2024 Elantra on Monday, April 7th at Wyatt Johnson Hyundai in Clarksville. I booked it online and got an appointment the same day. I got there early, and they took the car back immediately. I went for a walk rather than sit in the waiting area. They offered me a ride, but I needed to walk. About the time I got to my destination, they called to tell me my car was ready. They offered to pick me up, but I chose to walk back. I was surprised by how quickly they got my car in and out. Every employee I had interaction with was friendly and helpful. I live in Nashville, but it was worth driving the 40 miles up there.

I’ve spent a fairly decent amount of time at Wyatt Johnson over the past couple of months with transmission issues. Every time I’ve come in Halbert and Robby have been my main points of contact. Never once did they discount what I was experiencing and did everything they could to figure out what was going on. As frustrating as it is, I appreciate their kindness and willingness to make sure everything was in the best condition it could be. I even went in for an alignment and to address a shaking issue and their tech made sure to balance and align the car multiple times to get it as close to perfect as he could. Not good. They serviced my vehicle but did the paperwork as if they serviced my car that was totaled a year ago. There was no correct record of my new car being serviced. On top of that the mechanic left black greasy fingerprints on my glove box. I was told that the service manager would call me today and correct the problems but no call. I called The service manager after 4:30pm and he had heard nothing about my problems. He said he would correct the service paperwork and have my car cleaned and after I hung up I realized there was no apology for the terrible service his employees provided.

Shout out to T in service. What an amazing service advisor you guys have working with you. I'm hard pressed to say I've ever received better customer service practices anywhere else. She was timely, and kept me updated throughout every step of the process. I never had to wonder what was going on during the time my Elantra N was in for repairs.
