I was in a jam and needed engine replaced because of a failing head gasket on a 14 yr old 200,000 mile motor. Joe said he would be able to get an engine and install it(after quick research) his labor quote was extremely competitive! A week later I was back on the road.joe only takes in work he knows he can complete in a timely manner.he doesn't over book. I have recommended him to others. Best shop in the Bay Area, hands down! Very honest and very good work at a fair price. Most mechanics will not give me the time of day with my old jeep, or they make problems worse, but Nick has helped me big time on multiple occasions. Most recently with major brake work and a tune-up at the last minute before a Baja trip. The car was ready to go and I trusted it after Nick's run-down- Nothing except a flat tire the entire trip! You're in good hands at Nick's garage!! 394k miles, and hopefully a little more with quality help!!! Thank you!

i brought my prius in to resolve my check engine light. my man nick was working on presidents day, when all other auto shops were closed, and let me drop my car off for him to take a look. he calls me a couple hours later and tells me that he's researched the issue, and it might be covered by a warranty repair, and that i should take it to the toyota dealership for this. when i arrived to pick up my car from him, nick printed out a copy of the toyota service bulletin associate with my car's error codes, and highlighted the issues, making me look prepared and knowledgeable when i took it to the dealership (i wasn't). the service was done by the dealership free of charge, and i'll be trusting nick with all my repairs going forward for doing such good business.
