If you own a Porsche or a Mercedes you should definitely get your car serviced here. Jimmy knows his cars and runs a clean operation. The only person I would take an air cooled Porsche or rely on advice from when it comes to Porsche.

Love this shop! We’ve taken several cars to them over the past 15 years. Always top notch service! I bought my first E420 to them 15 years ago, that car lasted to overs 320k miles. Our 2nd car lasted over 250k miles. Jimmy and the family took care of us. I recommend them. They’re not afraid to help out with reaching out to Mercedes corporate when there’s a possible recall issue, and they work Mercedes to identify issues and solve them. This shop is the best !

They say to have a stress free life you need an honest mechanic an honest loyal lawyer and an honest dentist. Jimmy or as I have him in my phone under “Porsche Doctor” is not just an honest mechanic but the best and most knowledgeable one I have ever dealt with. I’m a collector with a good size collection of classic aircooled and modern post 996 Porsches. I also have a Mercedes G500. I’ve been taking my cars to Jimmy for 15 years. Hands down you will be treated like family and your car will be serviced like he services his own cars. I honestly wouldn’t even consider having a collection if I didn’t know I have him to maintain my cars. The level of knowledge, honesty and pricing deserves 10 stars, too bad google only allows 5. However I can put 10 stars here **********

One thing I learned about car repair/ service shops is, you don’t really know if the current shop you are going to is good or really good until you start going to a different service shop or get your car checked out by a different car mechanic. If you are not a car person it’s really hard to judge the work, unless the place you go to is really terrible. This shop was prompt with their service. Mercedes service center asked me to do a dozen of work, Jimmy asked me to do only what my car needed. One of my repair job is visible and it looks good, the other one was transmission service, driving still feels about the same, but I trust them. The Mercedes service center (Autobahn motors) I went to for my yearly service forgot to put my oil dipstick back after the service. I noticed it two days after, they put my engine in real risk. So, no matter how much you trust your mechanic, find one more. I think I found mine, I’ll be coming back here again.

I have gone here for two services since switching to them for a mechanic that is closer to where I live and more knowledgeable on Porsche specifically. I’m really impressed so far. The first job was a general service and inspection and the second was a suspension upgrade. The strut, shock, and drop link replacement was a one day turnaround! Jimmy doesn’t pressure you to make the most expensive decision with your car, in fact he saved me a ton on the suspension compared to what I was prepared to spend. Great mechanics, I will return for future work on the car.

One of the best car shops I've been to. Since my first visit here a few years back, I have not thought about going elsewhere. Drained out my battery one time, they are graciously enough to let me recharge my battery without charging me even though my battery did not come from them. Dropped of Porsche Cayman for pre purchase inspection. Jimmy (owner) saved me $250 by suggesting to limit the inspection to the mechanical only since I was already familiar with other aspects of the car. A few days later Porsche dealer inspected the car and suggested to replace a water pump due to the leak, $3K. Jimmy, he told me it is normal for the water pump to vent a little and it has many miles before I have to replace it. He also replaced the transmission mount for me and no problems so for. He seems like a very honest and trustworthy guy; to-the-point, straight shooters. I'll definitely be back for any future work.

I started coming to Jimmy after another Mercedes repair shop in Redwood City closed. I really trusted that guy in RWC and was looking for another person I could trust. So far Jimmy is that guy. He will tell you what needs to be fixed and what can wait. The quotes are less than the stealership but if you insist on OE/OEM parts like me, you’ll pay a little more. The only thing I can complain about is Jimmy’s handwriting. His writing is illegible like a doctor’s prescription and maybe the shop should provide printed service invoices in the future.
