OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE I’ve dealt with all kinds of mechanics over the years for various problems and not one has compared to the level of quality I had with ISM. I was genuinely surprised at how good of an experience I had with this shop, I’ve been burned by other mechanics in the past so I was expecting the worst coming into this but the ISM team was so caring and communicative throughout the process of repairing my SUV after a car crash. They were attentive, polite, and kept me updated throughout every step of the process in getting my car back. Everyone in the office was very cool, the mechanics were very polite when they called, and I had a 10/10 experience with this shop. Happy to have found people who take pride in the quality of their business these days. They did a fantastic job on my repairs and finished up quicker than I anticipated. Will definitely be coming back with any of my automotive concerns from now on.

I spent over $7000 in repairs and three weeks without my car only to leave the shop with a nail in my tire. I called immediately upon seeing my indicator light signaling to check my tire pressure and was told to bring the car back. I couldn’t do that due to work and having already missed work due to the repairs i couldn’t afford to miss more work. Instead I got the tire replaced at my own expense and when I told them they said they would pay for half because I didn’t bring it back to them immediately. I had to work! I’m so disheartened by their reaction and disappointed.

I brought my Chevy Cruze in for a coolant leak and international sport motors did an excellent job. Not only did I have a coolant leak they did above and beyond and check out everything else that was wrong with my car and help contact my extended warranty to help cover the cost of everything that needed to be replaced. They have outstanding customer service and my car worked great after getting my service done. Definitely bringing my car back here!!!

Giovanni and his team are a dream come true. An auto shop that does everything and by people you can TRUST! If Giovanni says something needs to be done, you know it needs to be done and will be done right. And the price will be FAIR. I give them an unqualified thumbs up, 7/25 Update: Giovanni has retired and the shop is.now run by Gelina. Gelina is every bit as capable and exceptional as Giovanni. I’ve been using this shop for years and trusted them with 2 Jags, a 1988 Nissan 300ZX and my current MBZ and have never been disappointed. The shop is immaculate and they stay up-to-date with the technology. You won’t be sorry if you take your car there.

This review is for Gelina and the crew at ISM, I am beyond grateful to have found a place to take my 2019 Dodge Charger to get serviced. As a woman, it’s such a relief to have Gelina there, although all of the staff that I have met have all been super friendly and welcoming, especially to my dog Thor : ) Gelina is such a bright light in an otherwise scary place for some, and not only does she clearly love her job, she is darn good at it. Gelina is super helpful, knowledgeable, thorough, and an authentic human being. A true gem in the car world. Now some perks I can’t stop raving about: They offer uber back home or work if within city limits, they now offer Affirm which is an amazing option and such a huge relief when surprise repairs make their way to you, and it’s literally right off freeway.. score!!

Cars have changed a lot since I worked as an auto mechanic some 50 years ago. Without the tools and equipment needed for today's vehicles, I'm happy to bring our cars to a shop I can trust; and I've found that with International Sport Motors. I'm probably not your average customer: I want to be involved in the diagnosis and repair planning every step of the way. Service manager Gelina was great to work with and gave me the space to do just that. When faced with a costly coolant line replacement, she found a smart way to get it done right while keeping the bill down. And when a fault code popped up that didn't quite make sense, she patiently heard out my theory and had her tech investigate. Turns out the fault was of my own making; easily resolved at no charge, with only my pride taking the hit. After wiping the egg from my face, I'm more than happy to return to and recommend ISM in San Francisco.

Took my 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid to International Sport Motors because the A/C wasn't cooling properly. Antonio and Gelina were great to work with super friendly, professional, and really clear when explaining the issue and the options to fix it. Communication was easy the whole way through, and I never felt pressured or confused about the work being done. Everything went smoothly, and the A/C is working great now. The cost was reasonable and better than what the dealer was offering. If you're looking for a reliable and honest auto shop in San Francisco, I'd definitely recommend them.
