Tristan specifically, and this place in general, are great! Quick service, easy to get an appointment (even via text), no waiting to check in and check out, and Tristan is fast and clear with text or voice communication. And the car runs great too, so thanks to the rest of the team as well.

I brought my Mazda into SF Toyota Service and had a fantastic experience. Chris S. was professional, courteous, and really took the time to explain what my car needed without any pressure. Even though it’s not a Toyota, they handled the service with care and attention to detail. I appreciated the clear communication, timely updates, and honest recommendations. It’s hard to find service like this — I’ll always be back and will ask for Chris again!

I’ve been waiting for a tire exchange using my Tire Insurance!!! But after 3 hours, they replace the tire but still waiting for the approval. I needed my car… so, they ask me to wait an additional hour to put the spare tire. And then 2 more hours for the approval. The total hours waiting in TOYOTA SAN FRANCISCO was expected to 6 hours!!!

Compelled to write a 5/5 review for Tristan. He's been servicing my RAV4 hybrid for years now, always professional, always manages my time correctly, and most importantly haven't had a single issue with my car for years!! Thank you!!

Excellent customer service I live about one hour and 15 minutes away. I came all the way down here to visit the Toyota service center. That’s because not every Toyota service centers equal for example, Toyota Capital, in San Jose, one it’s really worst Customer Service. (based on my experience in San Francisco Toyota my Service advisor name Adrian . Excellent customer service. Also I love the way they talk to customer. It’s very important to be understand where the customer come from and try to do your best in my case Adrian passed all acceptation.(again thank you so much great team) everybody is very friendly and professional. I will either recommend this place well worth it.

I came in for a check up at this place with my Lexus NX 200t. I had a license plate frame from Porsche of San Francisco but when I left they replaced it with a Toyota San Francisco one. Not sure if that's how they do things but I wish they would have told me, so I could have said no. I only noticed a couple days after. Having an employee steal a license plate frame just doesn't look good on the company. I did get my problem diagnosed so besides the stealing, they did a good job.

I looked all over for a sway bar bracket for my 2004 Tacoma. SF Toyota ordered the part for me and it arrived sooner than expected. They man on the phone was very patient and waited for me to find my trucks VIN number to be sure to get the right part. They also have parking which is super convenient in that neighborhood. Great friendly service.

I don’t know what to start, All I can say is Robert S receive an A for customer service, his professionalism, and answers my questions. Thats about it, they marred up my GR metal oil cap and has dirty hand prints all over the front end when I had my first and second service done, I’m angered and disappointed but whatever, didn’t write a review then. This time after a warranty repair, my washer and coolant overfill cap are damaged, my roof are scratched by the looks of leaving a clipboard or tools on top. My engine bay is also full of oil droplets spills and evaporated coolant/waters marks on the engine surface making it look’s like it has aged 10 years. I know these are minor issues but come on! Wheres the care! Took me hours to cleaned it all up. Giving 3 stars is me being generous and it’s a shame that this service center is so close to where I live but leaves me angered and disappointed.

I brought my car in because it was making a loud, unusual noise while driving. I paid nearly $500 for their “comprehensive inspection,” which I was told included a freeway test drive to identify the issue. When I picked up my car, I was told they didn’t hear any noise — which immediately felt off. Toyota then quoted me $3,554 in repairs, including: * $1,400 for front struts * $1,290 for ball joints * $650 for sway bar and end links * $35 for an engine filter * $180 for an alignment * and another $500 to replace *all five* tire sensors “just to be safe.” Thankfully, I got a second opinion. The independent mechanic immediately identified the actual problem — a bad left rear tire hub (something Toyota didn’t even mention) — and told me there’s no way they actually test-drove the car because the noise was so obvious. He lifted my car up and with his flashlight showed me every single part Toyota claimed was broken, explaining why each one was perfectly fine. I even showed him the photos (and provided him the printed report) Toyota had given me of the parts they said needed replacing, and he confirmed that they looked totally normal — both in the pictures and in person. He replaced my front struts (for $1,000 instead of $1,400), fixed the hub ($700), and threw in the air filter for free. None of the other items Toyota listed needed work. So instead of spending what could have been $4,745 at Toyota (likely more if they quoted me higher than 700 for the hub repair), I paid $1,700 total for the necessary, legitimate repairs from an honest local mechanic. In the end, I was charged $500 for an inspection I’m not confident was even done properly — given they missed the very issue I brought the car in for and tried to upsell me on several unnecessary repairs. I’ve since learned that some people even get their first inspection free, which makes this experience sting even more. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. If you’re considering bringing your car here, I would strongly recommend you get a second opinion prior to giving Toyota the green light to repair your car. It could save you thousands.

The service advisors here are professional gaslighters. I felt the need to take my car here to get the smoothest service since SF Toyota is where I bought my new car, but they've actually been the only place to show an attitude that gives "I don't care. Go away." You may read this and think that's what all dealerships do, but I've been to 4 other Toyota Service Centers this year and interacting with them has felt like a breath of fresh air. Specifically: One Toyota (Oakland), Berkeley Toyota (Albany), City Toyota (Daly City), and Longo Toyota (El Monte). It feels like SF Toyota service advisors are trained to be dismissive because both of their locations are like this. You can't even talk on the phone to real SF Toyota staff because they employ an off-site call center, and I haven't experienced any other Toyota dealer that does this. To further demonstrate, I wrote this review at City Toyota while waiting for an alignment that was fully covered under ToyotaCare warranty. In contrast, SF Toyota kept sending me off because they weren't able to personally experience the problem I have within a 5 minute road test. City Toyota didn't even bother with a inspection because they took my word for it. After months of gaslighting from SF Toyota, I feel heard. Do not bother with SF Toyota.

an absolute joke of a service department - i’ve called them 3 different times in the past 2 months to book service and get quotes for brakes - it’s one of the very simple request for any service center, and they keep telling me that someone will call back and that someone does not call back, this at this point it’s a refusal of service. really disappointed as i wanted to maintain my car at the dealership

I’ve been coming to this location since the beginning of the pandemic, and they have always done a great job with my Prius and now my Highlander. Always quick and easy to drop off car, and everyone is always super helpful. Dora has been my go to person! She is very knowledgeable about the services my vehicles need, and she makes the whole experience a joy! Thank you Dora, all of the service technicians, and the staff for your help with my vehicles over the last half decade! The waiting room is really big with comfy chairs and plenty of nearby plugs, and the new coffee machine is really nice too!

My foldable bike was stolen *inside* this dealership at the customer waiting area. They had surveillance cameras but when I asked customer service for help, they refused to review the surveillance footage. I can't help but wonder if they knew it was an inside job that happens regularly.

Mo is my service technician. I can't say enough good things about him. I was used to seeing him over at the Van Ness service location, but found out that he was transferred over to Geary. Even though it was much farther for me to drive to, I decided I wanted to keep my service appointment with Mo at the new location. I am so glad I did. As crowded as it was, Mo managed to get me in and out in a timely manner, and he always pays particular attention to the things that I explain are important to me. Their pricing is fair and they never gouge you with things that you don't need done. Mo and the mechanics know my car and that gives me great peace of mind. I will continue to always have my car serviced with Mo at San Francisco Toyota.

I'm so glad I didn't buy a car from this Toyota dealership. Their after-sales service center staff were incredibly busy and completely ignored customer inquiries about repairs. We waited a long time for our car to be fixed, while the staff were busy chatting and looking at their computers. The waiting area was also dimmer and smaller than other dealerships. Eventually, I gave up waiting because no one was paying attention to me. If I could rate them within Toyota, I would give them the score they deserve.

I came here to get my car inspected. I was told it would be ready in an hour and that they would call me. When I came back after an hour, my car wasn’t ready, so I waited in the office. After about thirty minutes, I went outside to check what was going on—and I saw that my car was actually ready. They never called me. It seems like the staff here are careless and don’t enjoy their work. I asked why no one called me to let me know my car was ready, and the employee just looked it up on the computer and said it was ready. Then he told me I needed to make the payment first. But that wasn’t my concern—I was asking why they acted so irresponsibly, and he just ignored my question. If you don’t love your job, there’s no point in staying there. You’re just bothering customers and wasting their time. This is the first time I’ve ever received such poor service at a Toyota dealership. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Time is valuable for everyone. To anyone reading the reviews and thinking about coming here — don’t. Terrible service.

Huge shoutout to Shawn! He provided the best service experience I’ve had in a long time. Great communication, frequent updates, and he even stayed late to help me with a loaner car pickup. Professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. Thanks, Shawn!

I dropped off my car yesterday at San Francisco Toyota for paint work, and the experience so far has been excellent. Tristin Cooper from the service team and Javier Espinoza from the rental department were both extremely professional, courteous, and well-organized. Everything was explained clearly and handled smoothly from drop-off to rental arrangement. I’ll be leaving a full review once I pick up the car, but so far this has been a very positive experience.
