Very dependable and fair. I have been going to this place for many years. Even now that I work on Centennial Campus and live in Cary, this is who I trust. I ahd an oil leaks once that Camacho in Cary didn't fix right. No problem for J&J and the gang.

I went in to have my car inspected today. I chose this place based off the reviews I saw here and I am glad I did, the service was exceptional. The manager(?) was extremely friendly and funny, he put on a heater while I waited because he thought I seemed cold. On top of that, they seemed very honest. They found one problem with my car and asked if I wanted to check it out in the garage. Then they fixed it for practically nothing. Although this was my first experience with them (and only for an inspection), based on the impression I received today, I will take all my future car repairs to this place. I have had numerous car mechanics in the past, and finding a good one can be hard. None have compared to the service I received today. What a relief to know where to take my car in Raleigh!

Great work from a great shop. Called around and got a few quotes on what it would take to put a new starter in my car, J&J Automotive quoted me a great price. Took it in at three o'clock on Tuesday, and they called me at noon the following day and had my vehicle ready. Easy to deal with, and prompt. Very happy with my experience at this shop.

I've been going here for car inspections for a few years. In addition to being very convenient to the NC State campus, the people here are friendly and fast. I believe them to be honest and forthright, too. I always feel well taken care of. Their parking lot is small, but somehow they always find enough room for one more car. J&J feels like an old-school garage in the best way.

6/5 stars!! I am a relatively new driver and new to the trials of car troubles. After having an unpleasant visit with another business that wanted to charge me a steep price for repairs, I wanted a second opinion, and a friend recommended J&J to me. From the moment I pulled in the lot, Abe was courteous and friendly. And he did something I’ve never seen a mechanic do- he drove the car with me as a passenger, and listened to all my concerns! He also updated me with everything he found, and made sure I knew the cost before committing. Fair prices, kind and knowledgeable workers, overall, an amazing experience! They now have a loyal customer in me.

I was in town for a week for NC State graduation, my daughter’s car was making a noise and needed to be looked at. Based on Google reviews and the location, I decided on J&J. Always skeptical from past experience with other shady establishments and mechanics in Raleigh, I checked some things first myself (brake pad level, wiper condition, air filter, fluid levels, tire treads, etc). When Abraham called giving me the diagnosis, I braced myself for the usual “also needs this and that”, but none of that happened. He recommended what needed to be done to fix the noise, was honest with his assessment of not being sure with something else until he took it off the car, but let me decide with no pressure. When I asked about doing an additional service, he asked “Why? It doesn’t need it.” I agreed with his repair suggestions, was given a very fair price, and the work was done the same day. It’s rare these days to find a shop that doesn’t try to upsell you on services and replacements you don’t need, but these guys don’t and are honest. Highly recommended and a shame I didn’t discover them before we moved from the area because I would happily go back.

I've been meaning to write a review for some time now. I cant put in words how amazing this shop is . It has to be one of the most honest, reasonably priced, and fastest shops I've done business with. I had a very old 2007 vehicle and they always took great care of me! They know the meaning of loyalty and honest work , which is hard to find in the mechanical industry (especially as a woman). I've NEVER had to come back for them to fix what they've already worked on and my car always ran 10x better after they've worked on it. My favorite person is Ibrahim ( I believe the owner and such a great one) , who took care of my 2007 for 3 1/2 years ! I recently bought another used car and this shop will still be my go-to for any questions, upkeep, and possible repairs. If you are looking for the top shop in RALEIGH, NC, then I know this place will take care of you and deserves your business! SPREAD THE WORD :)

I had a wonderful experience with J & J Automotive. My 7 year old Rav4 got a check engine light from nowhere. I called several repair shops nearby. They pretty much told the same story; a few hundred bucks diagnosis, followed by etc etc. One of my friends recommended calling J&J since he had very good experiences for good service and fair charges. I called and talked to Abe. He seemed a genuine and honest guy from conversation. after listening my issue, he recommended me trying one small thing before coming to his shop. I tried that cheap quick fix and it was resolved. Like others, they could have easily called me to their shop in the first place to look at. Automotive repair shops are waiting to cut your wallet whenever they can, especially if you are not very hands on person. But these guys were different. I am glad finally I found a trustworthy automotive shop in the RDU area. I will 100% recommend my family and friends to his shop. Hope you find my review helpful.
