I have a BMW 535i. My air conditioning decided to go out during what seems to be the hottest summer in Mississippi. I called Jamison Auto Group and they ordered the part I needed right away. Today I took my car to them for what was estimated to be a 2 hour procedure. These guys finished in 45 minutes. My car’s air is like new again. Not to mention they are polite and very professional. I’ll be going to them for all of my car’s future needs.

I had the rear wheel assemblies changed on my Mercedes Benz E350 by Jamie w/Jamison Auto Group. He diagnosed it properly and was upfront with pricing while giving the entire car a good look over. I highly recommend his shop for your vehicle needs. He is experienced and honest. A great guy to trust with your vehicle. I will definitely use him in the future.

We come back yearly to Gulfport and stop in just to say hi and have a cup of coffee. Jamie treated us like family from day one. We were strangers to the area and we were so glad we called Jamison Auto. Honest people and always do a great job with our cars.

When I say they are the best! I had a blow out on the way to get my car to the shop and they sent out someone to help me!!! They put on the new tire and made sure I was ok! It averages over 90° so I know it was hot outside! I appreciate all they did and they will forever have my support because when a company cares enough to send out their own mechanics that speaks a lot behind their brand!

What can I say about my experience with these awesome mechanics? Simply, they are family. Jamie & Wes truly treated me like family and made my experience the best ever. I was having trouble with my 5281 and Wes diagnosed the problem head on. They made the necessary repairs in a timely manner and I didn't have to lose time from work. The cost was very affordable and I would like to recommend them to any one with a BMW or Mercedes. These days so many auto shops are dishonest and put financial woes on families. Jamison AUTO Group is honest and helps families as best they can. Victoria & Willie

Top-notch place if you need to service your BMW. We took a 2019 X4 for brake pads replacement over 1 year ago and had 0 issues. Most recently, I took my 2021 M3 for brake pads replacement as well, and once again, they delivered high-quality service. I recommend this place 100%

Pretty bad experience here with my wife's car. Supposedly best in area for minis, but they were unable to diagnose an electrical issue caused by a 10 year old OEM battery that I figured out when I jumped her car after it died and the problem was gone. Checked the date stamp, replaced the battery, problem solved. They replaced a ton of unnecessary parts though, brought it in a couple times after they "fixed it," and now have a rattle in the dash at highway speeds from some clips or something they broke. Oil leak after an oil change with them and they got the interior floor REALLY muddy. Like I get it, you're working and I respect that, but at least throw down a towel or something to try and catch the bulk of it. Not sure how this place has good reviews. My wife's car in worse shape after letting them work on it, they even upsold her some engine flush crap with the oil change because she doesn't know better to say no - stereotype of mechanic selling junk to women, predatory. Regular changes and keeps oil topped up, completely unnecessary. Take your car somewhere else if you want competent mechanics that won't rip your family off.

Jamison's solved a significant problem that two other local garages could not fix. They charged a fair price, got the job done in two days and communicated on several occasions so that we would know what was going on. We could not be happier with Jamison's. We strongly recommend this business for automotive repair.

Jamie and his team are amazing. I've brought both my Cadillac and my wifes VW here. They treat us like family and work with us as much as they can. Unlike most, They care about their work and customers!

Very pleased with the service I received. Brought my ‘03 Jaguar in for A/C work. Jamie’s crew was quick to respond and provided a diagnosis the same day. My car was ready within 8 days, which broke all turn around records of all other auto shops on the Gulf Coast I have ever taken this car to. I didn’t need it, but they have a comfortable waiting room if you need somewhere to kill some time while your car is being attended to. Most importantly, it’s been a few months since my visit and my A/C is still blowing arctic temps, which is not common with vintage Jaguars. I will not hesitate to return to Jamison with future needs. Thank you Jamie.

I brought my Mazda Miata to these people for a rough idle and intermittent misfire, along with a request to install some front shocks I didn't want to tackle myself. You hold yourself out as an expert European car specialist. You assured me that I would receive the same attention to detail required for those brands. Your work was done improperly and you damaged my car. The lug nuts on the front driver's side were barely more than hand tight. I asked that you set my tire pressure to 27psi per the manual. Fronts were 17 & 14psi when I checked. You damaged the driver's front wheel. These wheels were freshly reconditioned with no blemishes. $200 You improperly assembled the driver's side strut assembly and the top spring cushion is way out of position. You reused old parts for which I provided new. That's about $500 to correct. I don't know how you removed the struts but they're terribly gouged up. The zip tie I used to ensure the stainless driver's side brake line remains clear of the tire appears to be the same one I installed. It would have needed to be cut and replaced if the control arm were removed as required by Mazda procedure (and common sense). I paid approximately $260 for the shocks you damaged. The headlights were recently refinished and perfectly smooth. Somehow you managed to badly gouge the driver's headlight. Those aren't cheap. There's fresh scratches on both sides at the rear of the car. These were not there before I left the car in your care. That's another $1k or so. You reported all sensors were working after your initial inspection. The engine idle was erratic but there was no check engine light at the time. After you worked on the car, the check engine light is on and there are multiple sensor issues including the coolant temp sensor, which was *disconnected* when I picked it up. You made "adjustments" to the throttle body *calibration* screw after I expressly advised you it is a "no-touch" setting and Mazda states that any change to the setting results in the requirement to replace the throttle body. You left "witness marks" on the set screw locknut, and your technician proudly stated to me that he "adjusted" the factory non-adjustable setting after I had repeatedly advised that it must not be touched. That's about $2k. To add insult to injury, It appears from a visual inspection that you failed to clean/decarbon the throttle body while it was off and readily in hand, which I contend anyone competent would do as a matter of course when diagnosing a fuel/air/misfire issue. Before you began work, you stated more than once that you would not charge me for "diagnostic" time. I'm unclear how you decided it is appropriate to charge me for time spent diagnosing when the primary driveability problem remains undiagnosed & unresolved, since: - you *gave up* on correcting the primary issue for which I brought it to your shop, and - the vehicle has *more problems* than when I left it with you. I have attached photos of the damage and improper workmanship so others can judge for themselves. I'll be seeking $ for replacement parts and labor to undo the damage done while in your possession, including, but not limited to: - new front shocks because there is no way to know if you compromised the shocks' integrity - repair of the paint that you damaged - replacement or refurbished headlights that you damaged - a replacement throttle body for the one you adjusted and thereby made unusable according to Mazda. *** Responding to JAG's reply (see screenshot). That's pretty thin skin you got there, JJ. How do your belligerent ad hominem insults negate the above facts and my very real pictures of your "work"? However you conduct *your* business, this is indeed how you have conducted *our* business. Too cowardly to contact or respond directly, or mitigate your liability, yet you replied here then apparently deleted. Do you self-annointed "pros" at JAG know how to read a shop manual, or MS statutes? I'll have the wheel/shocks/TB and that YouTube patch on display when we meet before a judge.. ***

Very informative before i even brought my car in. Upon bringing my car in they didn’t overwhelm me with the most expensive fixes instead informed me of the simplest things it could be. Fixed what needed to be fixed without trying to add on another arm and leg. Honestly best experience with a mechanic ive ever had. And i will be returning

Title: Avoid Jamison for Power Stroke Repairs – Inexperienced & Misdiagnosed I brought my Ford F-350 Super Duty to Jamison after a breakdown in Gulfport. While they claimed to have a certified diesel mechanic, it became clear he lacked specific experience with the Ford Power Stroke engine. After paying $2,100 for a low-pressure fuel pump replacement, the shop claimed the truck still wouldn't run and insisted I needed a high-pressure fuel pump (a $4,000–$5,000 job). I actually had to explain aftermarket kit options to their mechanic myself. Any shop experience with Power Strokes knows about the CP4 to DCR conversion kit that has been out for years. Sensing a lack of technical competence, I had the truck towed to a specialized Power Stroke shop. The second shop has done dozens of CP4 to DCR conversions and had the parts in stock. The Shocking Part: Despite Jamison claiming the truck "didn't run," it started immediately upon unloading at the second shop. It ran perfectly; the only issue was a mess of residual diesel Jamison failed to clean up. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my high-pressure pump. I was out a $200 tow bill, and the second shop was out a can of brake cleaner. The Aftermath: The new pump Jamison installed has already become excessively loud. When I asked Jamison to warranty the faulty part so a competent shop could install it, they refused. I am now out $2,100 for a noisy part and narrowly avoided a $5,000 unnecessary repair. Save yourself the headache and go to a specialist first.

I took my truck to have a loose alternator bracket repaired. 5 weeks later, the alternator belt was so loose thr battery quit charging. The professional repair shop I took it to told me the bolts were cross threaded, the belt wasn't ran correctly and was ruined. When I contacted Jameson automotive, they refused to take any ownership and blamed the alternator! I sent actual Pics of the failed work and offered to send the stripped out bolts. The response I got is in the Pic below.. don't ever, ever allow them to work on your vehicles.

I received a 30yr Mercedes W140 and was up in the air as where to take it. It was my lucky day when I saw his shop online. I needed my trunk repaired so it would close all the way. I told him while that while it was there to please look it over and do what it needed. After he completed my car. It us running like a new car. I'm pleased to report that i have found a shop for my mercedes. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs a great mechanic for their car especially their foreign car.. the price was reasonable for the work performed.

Let me start by saying the people are very nice and friendly. I dropped my car off at 830. Was told it was going to be up to 4hrs. Which was about right probably 30 minutes off. The problem comes with the price. When asked prior to coming the young lady stated the price would be 195. When the service was finished the price was almost 300. Thank God I brought extra money. She stated the way the system works is what made the price higher. Just in the future if someone calls ahead for service or prior to you working on their car discuss the price. It should have been honored as what was discuss over the phone even if the system had other plans. 11 hours after service and my break pedal is going to the floor. This is very dangerous. 300 is crazy especially if the job isn't done right. I did take my car back and the problem was resolved. Thank you for fixing the issue

Please disregard my previous comments about Jamison Auto Group being a great group of folks. I took my Classic 69 Chevelle to them trusting that they knew what they were doing. I was in town for Cruising the Coast and was in need of a new alternator. I called my mechanic in my hometown and he stated to me that any good mechanic should be able to handle the repair and as it was a basic repair. Jamison Auto Group we went to Jamison Auto Group and explained the problem and relayed what our mechanic conveyed to us. Low and behold shortly after picking the car up we noticed Clue # 1 the wiring to the alternator was melting and burned up. We took it immediately back to Jamison Auto Group and they stated they had put the wrong gauged wiring on the car. We get back home and a short time later Clue #2 the volt meter was never below 16 and then later Clue #3 heard a chirping from the alternator fan belt and discovered it was very loose. We immediately took the car to our normal mechanic and he advised us that the alternator was the wrong one for the car. My mechanic fixed the issue after another $825 cost to us and said he was surprised that there was no other damage to the car as having the wrong alternator could have burned up all the electrical wiring not to mention caused other damage. Clue #4, I called Jamison Auto Group multiple times and never received a call back. I finally talked to Jamie when he was the one to answer the call. Clue #5 I explained what had transpired and he refused to accept any responsibility and put the blame and responsibility totally onto us and said he just put the alternator you wanted me to put on it and its not the one that he would have personally put on it. I explained to him that I was not a mechanic and trusted him as the mechanic would put the right alternator on it and he never conveyed he would not have put that one on. I explained to him that I expect a mechanic to advise me. I asked Jamison Auto Group if they would at least be willing to buy back the brand new wrong alternator from me, Jamie refused and stated that he only put the alternator that I told him to put on it. I Jamie and Jamison Auto Group are extremely unprofessional and clearly do not stand behind their work, they clearly do not know what they are doing and they expect their customers to tell them the right parts to put on cars. All I was expecting back was for them to buy back the alternator at a reduced cost so I could recover some of my costs but they would not even do that, shame on Jamie and Jamison Auto Group. Maybe Jamison Auto Group should stick to European Cars to work on as they clearly have no clue had to work on basic good old American made classic cars.

I took my 1965 Mustang into Jamison Auto Group in early March 2025. I found them online advertising a specializing in European, Classic, and Muscle Cars. I was having problems getting the car started. I was also having some overheating problems, and I wanted them to look at my brakes (4 wheel discs) to see if we could improve the brake pressure. It's now October of 2025, I'm about $10,000 in receipts, and the next receipt will be for a tow truck to pick up the car because won't start. It stripped the starter, flywheel, or both when I went to pick it up after it went untouched for 3 weeks AFTER I brought it back the first time. The first time I picked the car up, it smoked the entire ride home, and the car idled up and down between 500 and 2000 rpms. The "new" exhaust sounded like it was made out of tin. To their credit, the owner admitted the carb "wasn't right" when I picked it up and suggested that I FIX IT. It was fine when it came in. I brought the car back in for the exhaust and carb to be fixed. The owner, Jamie Jamison, said he would try to get the car ready for me to drive in Cruisin' the Coast. He then took vacation and went to the show leaving my car untouched for the next 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, I told them I'll pick the car up. When I got there, they told me "it's doing the starter thing, again", and the owner walked away. I tried to start the car, it stripped the starter (and the flywheel, I'm sure), and I had to pay to have the car towed to an actual repair shop. On the tow truck leaving Jamison, I got a good look at my exhaust. I'm putting in pictures. Neither pipe is even or symmetric. One pipe is touching the gas tank. The other pipe is pointing at the leaf spring and blows directly into the back valance which, of course, blows black soot on the valance and passenger side fender. The owner WAS proud to tell me he saved himself some money using the cheapest mufflers Jegs had, so at least they ARE as cheap as the exhaust system sounds. I tried to be a good, considerate customer. I paid incrementally to keep financial pressure off the business, was very understanding when there were delays for other customers, and listened to their advice on exhaust and other things. It was a huge mistake. They were paid, and the car won't start, and when the car does start, it smokes, won't idle, and sounds terrible. Jamison WAS kind enough to use pictures of my car with inaccurate updates on their company's Facebook page bragging on their work. Not buyer beware but buyer move on.
