If you need your car fixed don't come here. They take money from you and don't even fix the problem. The people do not care about you they only care about your money. Trust me they will make your car worst. 2 months ago they told me I needed new sensors to be replaced witch I did and pay for them spent over 600 now they are telling me I need to replace them again and I have to pay for new ones again. Don't trust them with your car.

Told us it would be 200 to fix our door that was not opening ended up paying 700 and the door was not fixed and was made even worse and there was also stains on my seats. Don’t go here

Very professional and friendly staff, providing great service in a timely manner for a reasonable price. This place is huge on preventative maintenance to avoid high cost repairs, a policy I greatly appreciate. That being said, the owner and staff are straightforward and honest, recommending what is necessary and making clear what takes priority and why, never forcing you to spend more than you can. They will even work within a specified budget if that’s all you can afford. Japanese Auto Repair does great work at a fair price and I would certainly recommend them if you’re looking to keep up on maintenance or have a problem that needs diagnosing.

I took my 2008 Suzuki forenze to the shop the owner is super,nice I got to give that , my car couldn't not pass emissions he look at it give a quote of $489 .00 to fix it , well I didn't have the money at the time being. I state I will be back 2 weeks later I bring it to get it fixed , price up to $812.00 right I paid , drove it the next day I bring it whatever they have to fix cost an other $427.00 dollars no problem I paid since they have to pay the mechanic tech I took the keys my car couldn't start at all kindly I ask the ownerif he needs more time to get fix after 10 hours at the shop he says yes . I wish him luck after a long day and I hope everything goes well when He call me to pick it up again.

It's a pure scam, avoid!!!! Went in the morning, he lifted my car to check the parking brake system. Gave me a estimate and said chaging the brake shoes would fix the problem. He returned my car 5pm and said that it was necessary to change the cables as well, which he didn't have. I paid $350 for the repair and my car is with the same problem as before, the parking brake simple doesn't work. Waste of money.

Don’t be fooled by the religious imagery in the lobby. Look at how many one star reviews there are for this place before you pay them for anything. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection on my car and they didn’t notice several missing pieces and a door handle that didn’t open from the inside. They didn’t give a list of items they checked or anything they noticed that was awry, and there were several big things I had to figure out on my own. I’m not sure they actually did anything at all.

Willy helped me out with buffing out a large scrape on my car. He did WONDERS on this car! And he saved me money from not having to do a paint job. He was great with communication and I appreciate all the work he put in to doing a great job. He was willing to work around my hectic schedule and he accepted venmo. I never even met him. I spoke to him over the phone and dropped my car off. He texted me about the process and pictures. I picked up the car and was so impressed. My sienna was making weird noises and I went to this shop in the morning and they fixed by the end of the day. I’ve been Utah for 5 years and I rarely have a good experience with a mechanic shop here. It’s been hit and miss, but these guys replaced the water pump and all the other issues with the car and now it runs smoothly in one day. I am impressed. I highly recommend these guys.

They were able to help diagnose and fix a problem with my Subaru, and when we found a secondary issue they were willing to work with me and got the issue solved same day and went out of their way to clean my battery terminals that had corrosion. And they noticed my radiator hose was worn and would have likely failed soon had it not been replaced. The people at Japanese Auto Repair are honest and caring people. They fixed my car when everyone else said there was no way of fixing it. Other places told me it would be cheaper to replace the hood instead of fixing it, and they would have charged me more than double of what I paid for the Japanese Repair to fix it. If you have a crash, take your care to Japanese repair and your car will come out as new. So grateful for the recommendation I received, and definitely recommend it myself!
