I recently took my Scion xD to Japanese Motor Sport to have the cracked timing chain cover replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They did an amazing job, going above and beyond by also replacing the valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets, inside gaskets, and tensioner gasket—all with excellent quality workmanship at a very reasonable price. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented, ensuring everything was done right. My car runs smoother than ever, and I truly appreciate their honesty and expertise. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future repairs. Highly recommend!

These guys SAVED me big time! My car got vandalized and ignition console broken into. I have an anti-theft mechanism installed by a Hyundai Recall a few years ago, so thankfully they weren't able to steal my car. My husband remembered that we had our daughter's car fixed at Japanese Motorsports a few years ago and recommended I call them. John was super awesome and said to have it towed in there. This happened on a Thursday (Mar 20) and I got my car back today, Mar 25th! Turnaround time was unbelievable. Thanks so much to the office staff there, the mechanic (Josh) who repaired my ignition switch & the broken window, and John (owner) for incredible service! Highly recommend these guys if you have a Hyundai or foreign car. Round Rock Hyundai would have taken my car in "by appointment" only (even after an undrivable theft). Um, no.

Recently, my car was stuck in the middle of traffic because diesel was filled instead of gasoline. When I called Japanese Motorsports, John Shea, as the name suggests, "A day and night wrecker", he immediately responded and helped to fix the car on time, Now the car is running without a single issue, and I also followed up to see how it is doing. Thank you, Japanese motor sports. I strongly recommend it for all sorts of auto repairs.

My experience with this shop was everything I could possibly ask for. I drive a Toyota Tundra and had an odd transmission issue pop up, and the team here took ample time to answer my questions and recommend the steps to try to resolve the issue. Their pricing was upfront, transparent, and fair. After a transmission filter and fluid replacement, my issue is fully resolved (and we discovered the dealer likely under-filled it in the past). I couldn’t afford to leave my car there for longer than necessary, so they arranged for me to come in right at opening time, be the first car up on the lift, and had me back on the road by lunchtime. I drive a Toyota so that I don’t have to deal with issues often, but if they ever do arise, this will always be where I go!

I drive an ’07 Civic Si, and when my starter went out in October, I found myself frantically searching for a reputable shop I could trust. I’m very particular about who works on my vehicle, so finding the right place mattered a lot to me. That search led me to Japanese Motorsports, and I couldn’t be more grateful. When I called, John, the owner answered the phone. Right away we struck up an easy conversation about life and family. We even discovered we were originally from the same area. That immediate connection put me at ease, and I decided to bring my car in. John and his team quickly diagnosed the issue and had me back on the road in no time. Unfortunately, the following week my clutch went out, so back to the shop my car went. Once again, John, Carissa, and the entire team took incredible care of me and my vehicle. They were patient, honest, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They are professional, reliable, and genuinely good people. As someone who’s very selective about who touches my car, I can confidently say I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Being new to town, I’m truly thankful to have found a place I can trust. Just the most honest service experience I’ve had in my 25 years of owning a car. Took my low mileage AP2 S2K here- got a tour of the workspace, the shelves of genuine Honda fluids and hardware, and got to meet the folks who worked on the car! Meanwhile, the local dealership hadn’t seen this model for over a decade and just didn’t have the expertise to match. Also the price is very honest here and hard to beat for the quality and attention to detail. Trust John and Carissa, they know what they are talking about- a hard thing to find these days.
