Tried this place for a third time a few days ago and my suspicions were confirmed. Not a single time did this car wash do a good job, and constantly left with the same spots it completely misses. I do not think they can do anything to remediate this, it is just a poorly designed wash.

Employees are always great but the vacuums didn’t work. When Jax took over the Commerce locations, they installed the self serve machines to pay/check in for memberships but there’s always 2 people working them. Read that again, 2 people work the SELF SERVE stations all while raising membership prices every 6 mos it seems. Make that make sense.

Every time that I go to a Jax I hope and pray that they clean the back of my car. I can’t ever seem to get a GOOD car wash and a good dry. Trying to dry my car with a wet rag doesn’t work either. If I could find another car wash in this area I would cancel my Jax membership. It’s never worth it

Since moving to West Bloomfield this summer, after living in Birmingham for the last 20 years and going to the Woodward location, I have to say that this hidden jewel is amazing and consistent! I go through on average 2-3x a week and the gentleman have yet to not pre-spray BOTH sides of my car. That was a huge pet peeve of mine going to the Bham location. But these guys do both sides every time and they are all very cordial! They speak, wave, smile… something, every time.

Had to use this location as the one closer to my work is under renovation. Wash was fine but the shorter line meant some of the dirt just did not get cleaned...On another note, the location close to my home (Brighton) has a Towel Drying system that really seems to do a great job bringing out the shine...just thought you would like to know.

I asked the attendant, pushing the buttons and running the cars through. Hey, any reason you spent 4 mins on the car ahead of me? Note that he didn't spray or brush the drivers side. That car was very dirty. Also, we don't spray or brush the wash does that. With all the reviews, when are you guys going to step and take care of your customers. They also scratched all over the car because they ran the towels though the sand and mud to dry the car.

My total car wash experience at the Commerce Location was EXCELLENT!!! My vehicle is always cleaned and dried completely. This is why I prefer this location. The staff is always professional, courteous, respectful and friendly.

I purchased the highest level of unlimited car wash that features the Simoniz Ceramic Sealant, Carbona car wax, Rain-X windshield treatment and tire shine. In most cases I don't get those features based on the fact they don't light up and activate when I go through. When I asked the attendant he said the system is finicky and said I should go through again. Who has time to go through the long Jax lines a 2nd time to get what you were supposed to receive. Another time a different attendant indicated when it is busy, the system will sometimes just give basic washes or they might be out of, or low on the premium additives. It seems to always be busy so I rarely get the treatment that I thought I was paying for. Also, all of the locations don't have the top of the line additives so it removes the advantage of all the Jax locations if you purchase the premium package. So I wouldn't recommend the Everything Outside Unlimited package unless you are near a location that has the top ceramic sealant and have the flexibility to go during off hours or non busy times. I will look at all the new car washes entering the market and cancel Jax or at minimum reduce my plan to basic. That is the service I received over half of my trips.

I love Jax Kar Wash Commerce! I missed it while it was down to undergo equipment upgrades. It has a large area with plenty of vacuums. A double gate entrance with attendants to help if you require assistance. I am impressed at how clean my SUV is when I exit! I also appreciate the folks who towel the excess water off my SUV before I exit.

Had my car washed paid for the best supposedly at a better price ended with the back of the car not even wet this is the third time , the 2 guys drying it didn't even bother to wipe it out it was dirty. I notice it when I got home very disappointed. Even the windows were still dirty.

I absolutely Love having the monthly package. I drive up to the commerce car wash pull through and get the best car wash and drying service ever. This package I could even get my car washed every day if I wanted, but of Of course I don’t. But during the winter with all these salts on the road in the snow and the slush, it is great to get it done more often than I do in the summer. I can’t say one bad thing about the service. It’s perfect.
