I needed a truck engine and I checked and compaired prices, I found JDs actually 1/2 the price of the others. Its true they don't have the fancy building, the female up front behind the glass window answering the phone but yet these fancy things just add to the price you pay. Its up to you ...would rather pay a high price or get quality at a lower price.

Ideally, a local mechanic would be: skilled, honest, thorough, trustworthy, communicative and fairly priced. Josh and Dave ARE all these things, plus are down-to-earth, decent gents. I swear by them (never at them) :-)

Horrible customer service and quality of work ever since the son started to run the place! I used to use JD's and recommended them at one point. Now, the quality of work is horrible and the customer service is worse! They don't take any care in your vehicle either. My front seat covers were ripped and my steering wheel cover was peeled after them holding my car for a week to change brakes and add a fuel filter. I definitely don't recommend you taking your vehicle there!

I would highly recommend JD’s to anyone. My family has had their cars serviced here as long as I can remember. I also make it a point to bring my cars here still even though I live 3 hours away. JD’s has worked on lifted vehicles to sports cars for me and every time they get things done perfectly.

I have been taking my cars here for a couple years! They do great work and work with you. Very affordable oil changes! I always take my cars to Josh for an inspection of a vehicle before I buy it. I bought a car from SnH Auto and when I took it to JD's he immediately told me that the car was not road worthy and to take it back. Instead of trying to sell me and charge for repairs he was honest and true. You can't find good people like Josh and his crew these days. Do yourself a favor and come to JD's first before you get ripped off by the dealer.... Thanks Josh

We are SUPER happy with our repairs and service from Josh at JD Automotive! Previously, we had waited a month for an appointment at a dealership service department, only to be quoted $2-3K for several things we didn't think we broken. We called JD for a second opinion. They got us in the next business day and were very honest about what needed repaired. Only a few things, each repair about half the cost of the dealership prices. And everything was fixed a day later. JD is now our go-to mechanic!

They had my truck from Saturday till Monday because they had to order a part to stop my check engine light from coming on, so I paid the $163 and the very next day the check engine light came back on, so I took it back, they supposedly "checked it out again" and told me the brand new part I got installed at a previous shop a month earlier was no good, and they wanted me to pay for another one from them. This shop is a joke, plus someone hit my truck while in their shop and he said he can't do anything about it because no one reported it to him when it happened. So after spending that unnecessary money, my engine light is still on and I have to get my mirror repaired.
