My fiancé and I are from Houston, Tx and doing hotshot in this area. We were passing through and had problems arise with our gooseneck trailer. We called around all day and no one had parts or could help us! Stacy and Karen were life savers!! I recently had the great privilege of meeting these fine folks of axle Inc. I was on a trip from Iowa to pick up in LaGrange Indiana when I discovered on a fuel stop that I had lost my wheel and hub assembly due to bearing failure. I limped the trailer another 10 mi to Elkhart Indiana where I was referred to these guys for parts to make repair. I was greeted by a wonderful lady who quickly directed me to one of their mechanics who took me to the back found me all the parts I needed and then went above and beyond by loaning me tools and space outside there shop I needed to make the repair myself since their guy was booked solid that day, he offered me any assistance I needed and even Grease the wheel bearings for me then they referred me to where to go to purchase a wheel and tire since that was the one thing they didn't sell. In this day and age we're most shops trying to take advantage of people in need especially if they're from out of town this was way above and beyond. I can't say enough great things about these folks and I recommend to anyone in need of axle parts or repair. These guys were the most friendly and accommodating people I tihnk I've ever met and they have definitely made a lifelong customer and friend. Thank you so much, the only regret I have is not getting their names so I could personally send them a thank you

We were stranded in Elkhart 5 hours from home needing a new wheel hub for our travel trailer. We went to Axel Inc 8:30 am Monday morning to see if they could service our camper. They fit us right in for service for a new wheel hub. They also replaced the damaged Lippert axel with a new better Dexter axel and installed new leaf springs that we were traveling with. They also corrected previously incorrectly installed parts by either previous owner or factory. We were headed home with our repaired travel trailer by 3:30 pm Monday afternoon. We highly recommend Axel Inc. Karen, the owner, was very willing to help us in any way that she could and charged fair prices for parts and labor. James, the service manager, went above and beyond in getting us back on the road to safely return home.

I have been a customer for the last five years. I started out having disk brakes installed on my fifth wheel. Karen and James where fantastic! I could not have been more pleased with their work. I then had a spring break in Pennsylvania and after obtaining temporary repairs to allow the trailer to be towed to Elkhart, Axle Inc rebuilt the entire drivers side Undercarriage including disk brake, gas line replacement, and a more heavy duty spring installation. At the same time I also had shock absorbers installed. I have returned to them (268 Miles one way) to have the wheel bearings repacked and the under-carriage inspected and lubed. This last time they also replaced my rear bumper with a more heavy duty part.....it was not previously arranged but they was able to work it in. James is an EXCELLENT Technician, very meticulous, and very knowledgeable. The whole team, Stacy, Karen, and James are great people and great to work with. I shall return to them in the future.

Where do I begin…. James is the absolute best! I had a situation were I blew the bearings and whole hub on my ranger bass boat. Of course unable to get the full unit because dexter had them on back order, James had me back on the road and in time for my tournament with be rotor and torsion arm he pieced together for me. That did not end there, I was asked to bring my boat back so they could check all the bearings on the trailer, we he replaced with all new bearings. not only did they get all of that done, they also readjusted all torsion arms on my trailer, added grade 8 bolts and had the trailer brakes up and working again and did this in a day knowing I was leaving on vacation. They made me a priority and that is a level of customer service you rarely come across. Myself and plenty of the guys I fish with will be bringing our boats and trailers down to Elkhart for all of our trailer needs!

Great people to talk with. Even though they didn't do the work they still shipped out everything I need very responsive to calls and emails. Listened to my issues I had with my 5th and Stacy recommended some upgrades to the axles. Their transparent listing on quotes was much appreciated also. If I ever need anything and am close to them I for sure will stop and have them help me. Can not wait till my long road trip with they new axles, leafs and brakes update: Just finished a 3000 mile trip with the new setup. impressed with the new springs and brakes. the disc brakes give awesome stopping power and the ride with the upgraded springs had hardly anything move inside the camper

Had an appointment set for this Thursday, set about 6 weeks ago. Had a set of wheel bearings blow out on me, made it half across town to the shop in Hope's of work getting done early. After sitting for 15 minutes before opening 2 employees came out, an office worker and the technician, axle still smoking. After a short discussion they excepted it early, a full WEEK early, at 8 am. Agreed they'd get to it between jobs when possible, no rush. Got call for pick up by 2:30 the next day! Trailer rides a lot firmer now, probably for the 5 inch axles that replaced the 2.25 or 2.5 that was used.

After an initial mix up & some confusion on a custom axle order, Axle Inc. replaced the axle that was initially shipped to me. I appreciate their service and commitment to “making it right”. The axle was made by Dexter axle and is a robust axle for sure. The Axle Inc. price was lower than the price of a standard axle that was very similar to the dimensions I needed for my trailer. The price and customer service made this a great experience overall, when factoring in their willingness to make it right. I would recommend them and use them again for any other axle needs that I may have.

Saved the day! We were headed home from Sturgis South Dakota and had a leaf spring break and needed an emergency fix. I hired this team of guys to fix and axle issue on my Bigfoot 2500 series RV. I needed some work done from a bad job at a prior trailer shop to get my axle turned and re-set to it's proper orientation. If I could rate the customer service at this place any higher...I certainly would!! We were heading home from a week long trip from Lake Erie with my boat in tow on a Friday afternoon. While in the Elkhart area my axel broke right in the middle causing both wheels to tip in and burn through both plastic fenders, grooving both tires to the radial cords and partially into the aluminum boat before I noticed all the smoke. We googled axel repairs near me and these guys came up...And boy am I grateful they did. After the smoke somewhat settled(Pun intended) and my boat was taken to their shop via flatbed I felt like I was dealing with family members. Suzanne and James assured me they would take care of my baby like it was their own. They kept it indoors, dealt with my insurance company and after ordering the special axel, had it back to me in no time. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys for any trailer repairs, parts or service. I expressed my gratitude and appreciation to dealing with a business that gave me piece of mind throughout this whole unfortunate incident.
