Dropped the truck off Saturday as transmission had issues. They were able to get my diagnostics done timely and into a rental that I was able to pick up by wed. The service is scheduled 16 days out. Will update at that time so far it’s all been handled very professionally and with much care for the needs of customer. Update the transmission is scheduled to come in on the 13th of july. I should be able to pick my truck up when i get back from vacation on the 23rd. Thank you Lochmandy family for helping me get my wheels back on the road and running. The service department has always been good to me here. Right now my SUV is in the shop, luckily under it's bumper too bumper warranty, but the noise that I could not explain was in fact found by a mechanic that actually listened to when I said versus other places that I have been to in the past where the mechanics don't care what you think or say. Luckily he listened and when he pulled the plug from the differential there was quite a bit of metal shavings and bits that came out which was the noise I was hearing and they are going to repair that under my warranty. Everybody there from scheduling to the people that talk to you when you pull in they are all polite and professional and I have never had a single one be rude in any way. I like this shop better than many that I have been to.

We had to get new tires for our 2019 Buick Envision. Lochmandy’s gave us three quotes on different tires. My husband wanted make sure we were getting a great deal and went and got quotes from other tire companies in the area. They couldn’t beat Lochmandy’s GREAT price. The staff greeted me very well on the phone to make the appointment for the next day. Very quicknto get my vehicle in. Was also greeted very well in person when my vehicle was towed to their service center. The night before I had a car locksmith attempt to program a new key fob to my vehicle he was at it for 2 1/2 hrs with no success. So I called called lochmandy service center the next morning and the day after that Mt vehicle was in getting serviced. I had Stephanie as my service agent, very nice and very good at her job. Of course the locksmith told me two nights before that it wasn't my fob. So when Stephanie came back to me with it being the fab, I was not happy. I though oh great I had just wasted 150 with the locksmith now lochmandy was out to get me. How run I was they were right it was the key fob. Stephanie was very patient with me as I was not with her. I owenot only Stephanie an apology but the tech also. I am sorry for jumping the gun. You guys did an awesome job, would recommend to fa.ily and friends. Thank you for your patience with me and my ignorance. Thank you so much would use again. Only thing a little expensive. I remember the days of $3 keys for a vehicle. Purchased the best oil change and when checking in mentioned that the windshield washer needed to be topped off and was told it was part of the service. Service was fast and friendly but windshield washer never got topped off even after I mentioned that.

I brought my jeep in but they Weren’t able to find out what’s wrong with the electric motor not working. That day, it started working appropriately. They said I need to bring it back if it’s happening again. It’s happening again and Elkhart isn’t near me. I understand that no codes were showing errors but the jeep health report clearly shows it’s not been working. It’s a hybrid it shouldn’t only get 18-19 miles per gallon. I wanted to buy this when the lease was up but not if the best feature doesn’t function as expected. I wish there was more that could be done to diagnose the problem

Basic services is good. Like everything else I think prices are too much. I have had a check engine light problem for some time. First time the service department said I had a dirty air filter. They replaced it. The second time they said it was a mass air Flo sensor. They replaced it. The third time they said it was the DEF filter. They replaced it. The 4th time ( 7 weeks ago ) the mechanic was talking to Ram on what to do next. Now they tell me the mechanic is no longer working there and they can’t get into his computer system because they didn’t have his password and can’t override it. So they said that they were going to start all over. But the boss was on vacation and can’t do anything until he or she gets back. I only have 21,000 miles on this truck and the check engine light problem has been a challenge most of the time. Some of the excuses were 1-Air Cleaner. 2-I wasn’t driving it hard enough. 3-Mechanic was in a class some place. 4- Mechanic no longer works here. 5- Can’t get in mechanics computer. 6Waiting to hear back from Ram. 7-Haven’t heard back from Ram because Ram is short handed. 8-Need to start all over but the boss is on vacation and can’t do anything until the boss gets back. I am sure the may be more excuses but at this point it doesn’t matter. I was in the car business for 25 years and I understand the problems that happen. But at this point I don’t trust the service department and I’m nervous about taking the truck on a trip. I bought the truck to pull my camper that I bought shortly after I bought the truck. I have about $170,000.00 invested in truck and camper and I don’t feel comfortable with the truck.

Lochmandy is great, especially Tony. I bought a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee at a different dealership and, while the car itself has been a nightmare, Lochmandy has been very gracious about servicing the car under warranty and helping me, even though it wasn't their dealership that even sold us the thing. They've been communicative, professional, and have even routinely arranged for loaners and shuttle rides for me while the car is in the shop. I think it's to their credit that they've backed a car that isn't even theirs the way that they have.

The service was excellent. However, I encountered an issue when someone removed my cabin filter and then informed me that there would be a labor charge to replace it. If you took it out, you should put it back in without an additional charge. Replacing a new filter should not be considered labor-intensive compared to placing the old one back. Update: I will not be contacting you. While I appreciated the service provided, I was disappointed by the price gouging. Charging a three-dollar "Doc fee" for an oil change seems unreasonable. It is perplexing to me that companies justify such practices by claiming they have always done it that way. If you rely on inflating customer bills to maximize profits, I will not support your greed by contributing my money. #NoToPriceGouging

I recently had my vehicle at lochmandy for an oil change part of the service is that they check tire pressure and wear and tear of tires and brake pads which I believe they did but they're also supposed to top off fluids like windshield washer fluid and coolant if needed. My coolant level has been below the normal fill line since I've had my car but you would think if the technician sees the coolant level below normal they would fill it to the normal level but never do. My car has never overheated but that's not the point here in my opinion if the tech checks all fluids he should then top them off as needed and for this I'm not very happy and would like an explanation for this?

Not real happy with the service. Been here before without issues, but this time not so. Brought truck in for recall on a Sat. and needed to wait for the repairs which was told 1.5hrs. ended up waiting 2.25hrs which wasn't a big issue. Knowing they had to wait for engine to cool off since replacing the block heater. Problem came when I got down the road and notice my coolant level warning. Ended up stopping to make sure I had any in reservoir. It was low, and I didn't have time and wasn't willing to turn around and go back, so I figured I was ok until I got home. Ended up having to add about 1/2 gallon to get to get proper level. So no idea if they just swapped out heater quickly and lost some coolant, or drained just the block and use the 2 gallons of new coolant that the recall order called for which is concentrated. So that's 4 gallons to replace at 50/50 which should have been enough. Tech should check before sending vehicle out!

Recently had my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil leak. Turned out to be the rear seal, a complicated fix because they have to take the transmission off to get to it. I also had a damaged key fob that was replaced and then my hatch door wouldn't stay open and it came down and hit me in the back a couple of times. My extended warranty covered the key fob and the oil leak but not the hatch so I had to pay for that out of pocket. I was given a rental car for 5 days but it took longer than we thought it was going to. I agreed to pay for an extra day because I really need the transportation which I did. But then it still wasn't done when they thought it would be so Tony in service helped me out tremendously for those last two days. Like as they just covered it for me I thought that was really really nice of them to do that. I've been going here for years and for the most part I've always had excellent service and this was no exception. Tony kept me informed and really worked with me since I'm older and have a lot of health issues. I really appreciate his kindness more than he will ever know. Everything seems to be working fine now. Thank you Tony and Lochmondy staff for coming through for me. I appreciate doing business with you. I wouldn't hesitate to refer people to you in the future in need of excellent service.

Absolutely terrible service. Made an appointment weeks ago to have the headlights replaced . Took my vehicle in on the 5th. Had a lengthy conversation with the rep about replacing the light and what’s required. He asked if I was going to wait for the vehicle. I told him no, I had a rental and was going out of town and I would like to pick up the vehicle the next morning when I dropped the rental off. When I came in I was told the lights weren’t done. They claimed they tried to get ahold of me to approve the repairs???? When I saw the rep from the day before (Brian? ) He said he had know idea who I was or what was going on. Apparently he deals with so many people he can’t remember a 20 minute conversation from 24 hours before. So after weeks of waiting, a wasted rental and two trips over there I’m right back where I started…..no head lights Thank You Lochmandy for a horrible experience. Since you can’t remember who I am or why I came to your shop I guess you won’t miss my money either 🤮🤮🤮

I am extremely frustrated with my experience. I had a scheduled appointment for a recall service and dropped my car off Tuesday night for a Wednesday appointment. I did not receive any update on Wednesday, so I called Thursday to check on the status. I was told technicians had called off, but that my car would be looked at Thursday and I would receive a call. That call never came. When I called Friday, I was informed by my service coordinator that my appointment had accidentally been scheduled with a technician who was not even working that day, and this was not realized until then. As a result, my car will not even be looked at until Monday. At this point, my car has been sitting there for days without any work being done. What is the purpose of making an appointment if it is not honored, tracked, or communicated properly? The lack of communication and scheduling oversight is unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience.
