my car started running hot and since it was Sunday, this was the only shop open but they got me in and replaced my radiator as well as tightened my battery in a reasonable amount of time and for a fair price. I will definitely be returning here when I need more work done on my car.

I was told after carefully explaining on the phone, that my wheel lock on my jetta would be removed and it wasn't. I spent 5 hours there mostly in the rain. I used my roadside assistance to get towed there for no reason and then had to pay $75 to get towed home. I explained greatly before I went to them. Very, very disappointed and money wasted.

I’ve been super sick lately and my girlfriend made a call to get an oil change and the man who answered the phone gave her a quote for an 160 dollar oil change like are you actually kidding me when the average price is 60-80 dollars you are actually insane to be charging that price. It seems like you heard a woman on the phone and you thought you could price gouge her. I thought the scheming auto repair man was an archetype that wasnt prevalent nowadays but it apparently it’s alive and well. You should be ashamed of yourself

My wife was driving from Ohio to Norfolk and her car broke down outside of Richmond. It was a Saturday evening and Cory agreed to help her. Unfortunately parts weren't available until the next day (Sunday) and Cory finished the repair. As my wife continued her trip the car broke down again outside of Richmond. Cory drove to her location with the needed parts and made the repair. Not many mechanics or shops would commit to this level of service, especially on a Sunday evening. I highly recommend Jeff Davis Auto & Tire Repair. The service is prompt, very efficient, and honest. The cost of the repairs was very fair. If I need repairs in Richmond ever again I won't hesitate to go to Jeff Davis Auto & Tire Repair.

Great experience. Called an hour before closing, and he had me come to the shop and fixed me asap. We we're traveling through to the beach and had our headlights went out randomly. We talked about other problems they helped with all we needed. Went out of his way the next day to call and make sure our family made it to our destination.

As stressed out as I was about my car and finding a shop to put on my reservoir pump I finally was able to come across one to fit me in right away. The vibe was right. I felt comfortable and didn’t have any regrets about coming here. Corey was very sweet, informative, and made sure I was taken care of. Thank you!

Got home from vacation and had a flat tire waiting for me. Corey had me come down immediately and fixed my tire quickly. I was so impressed that he was not only open but had competitive prices, as well as being super kind. So glad to find a local shop I can trust, in my own neighborhood, too! So grateful.

I cannot say enough about this place. We were visiting Richmond for a concert. We were 5 and a half hours away and my alternator went. It was a Sunday morning and there were almost no garages open until I found this place. I got in touch with Corry who told me to bring it in and he would take a look. Corry and James put everything else aside and fixed my alternator and battery right then and there. They had my car fixed by lunchtime. They even let us hang out and watch tv while they fixed it. So professional, polite, and genuinely saved us. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone. I wish I lived around here just so I could continue to get my car serviced here. Thank you so much, Corry and James. You guys are amazing!!

I called and ask if they had a specific tire size. The guy on the phone says yes. I tell him I’ll be there is 25 minutes. He says okay. I get there and there’s no answer at the door. The guy doesn’t answer the phone after I call a few times. He texts me another number. The person on the other number says they don’t sell tires. It would have been nice if the first guy told me they didn’t have tires. Went somewhere else close by and it was done in 15 minutes.

I had an alternator start to fail on a Saturday evening right as all the garages were closing. I ended up getting in touch with Corey and making an appointment for early Sunday. He had my alternator swapped out and my oil changed in a couple of hours at a fair price. He was also nice to chat with and let me know what was going on every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and would go back for work on my own car. Update: Had my serpentine belt failed on a Saturday. Got towed over and had a new belt on super quick. Again Corey and his team are polite and professional. I'd definitely recommend their business. Another update: Corey had my oil changed super quick and affordably. Still my go-to shop for service.

Went a week ago, With my son & my friend to get my water pump replaced. Price THEY gave us was reasonable but when i got my truck back the engine appeared lower than usual, screws are missing from parts underneath the hood and also my fan was replaced from a whole different car part (Chrysler) to be exact! I Have a 2004 Jeep Grand cherokee. Also my grill is also hanging by 1 screw. They were nice & cool but my service done was disappointing. I have pictures also. Not professional.

They are cheap, kind at first, open late, and take you in fast. But you should NOT go to them. They are negligent and incompetent. They did not check my battery end cables that connect the rest of my car to the battery. That is the first thing to check responding to the issue I was having. Instead, they took measurements of my alternator and battery which meant nothing since the battery wasn’t even connected properly. After $900 dollars, 2 visits, a new alternator and battery, hours of stress, missed classes, missed doctors visits, and being late to a wedding, I still had the exact. same. issue. They sent me to Toyota but when Toyota showed me what was actually wrong with my car(please see video), my cable ends being so loose they weren’t even screwed in and could be popped in and out with a touch. I showed Cory the video and he got defensive and said “Hell no, that’s BS.” Very unprofessional. He proceeded to tell me that Toyota had loosened it and lied to me??? Mind you, this is the Toyota he sent me to. He proceeded to imply that I was unintelligent for “going with my belief” when I said I was more inclined to believe them over him. He claimed that my alternator had measured faulty and I reiterated that that didn’t matter because it wasn’t properly connected which he had not even check for. He said that he’d also measured it outside of my car after it was removed. I’ve asked repeatedly for any record of that and, though he’s said he has it, he has never sent it. He also told me that he personally measured my battery, which is a blatant lie. On my second visit, the day my battery was changed, Cory was with his wife in a car parked in the far corner of the shop. Another guy, Rich, was the one who measured my battery and replaced it. It measured good but he said that it should still be replaced because one of the cells might be broken. I believed him. An Autozone guy delivered the new battery and took my old one. I was there the entire time and there was no way Cory could’ve measured my battery without me seeing it with my own eyes. When I told him that he said “don’t worry about what you saw with your own eyes I’m telling you I did it.” So this guy seems to think he should be believed over Toyota AND my own eyes. As much as I don’t want to use a buzzword like “gaslighting” that is quite literally what he was trying to do. I have also repeatedly asked for a record of my battery being measured and giving a faulty result and he has not produced any records. He actually never claimed to checking my cable ends before replacing my alternator, which he should’ve done. So at least he admits to that oversight, but he explains it by saying that when he measured my old alternator it measured faulty and then when he changed it, the new one measured good. I repeat, no measurements taken while the battery was loosely connected are reliable in any way. I can say that him neglecting to check the cable ends was a mistake I would be willing to forgive. However, once Rich changed my battery, there is absolutely ZERO chance he didn’t see the obvious issue(again see video). But instead of saying anything or admitting any fault they just put the new battery in and sent me on my way. Cory was not the person that put the battery in so I understand that he’s not the one that would’ve seen it and I don’t fault him for it. However, when I presented him with clear evidence from Toyota, hoping to reach some kind of solution, he was unprofessional, condescending, disrespectful, defensive, deceitful, and manipulative. He did not even stop to check with Rich, the guy who actually worked on my car. He has since ignored my text and failed to provide any records or documentation. I would still be open to seeing proof that my parts actually needed replacing but his lack of cooperation tells me everything I need to know. I’ve had to spend over $300 more fixing this at Toyota, so I’m up to $1200. I am a college student and that money could have gone towards my classes or my housing. Whatever you do, don’t trust these people with your car.
