So I usually don’t do reviews. That said, bear with me on this long one. A while ago I noticed a smell of antifreeze coming from my car. I knew something was wrong but I was reluctant to take it to the dealership or just any auto repair shop. As you know dealership is expensive and they never explain anything but how much they will charge you. I always drive by this shop on my way to Bayonne or home depot so I said let me contact them. A representative contacted me back to schedule an appointment. She assured me that she has the best man for the job. I met a technician by the name Damin. Very impressed I must say. I’ve never met a technician that would explain everything in detail. To make a long story short, the service representative was very communicative with me on the whole process and Damin also when it came to pricing and suggestive alternatives. Turned out after inspection of my van it had a cracked engine. They were very informative in detail as to what needs to be done and provided constant updates on arrival of new engine and installation time. And did I mention the pricing was very reasonable. They understood the situation and treat you fairly. They treat you like people not like a price on a menu like the dealership does. And mind you I had taken my van to the dealership for oil change before I took it to them and they never mention the cracked engine. So if you need a good technician and great customer service go to Jersey Customz. They cater to all you automotive needs.

Our BMW 430i had a coolant leak because if the engine oil cooler. My wife and I brought it to couple of shops in Jersey City and two of them were asking $1700+ parts and labor. Funny story was, my wife always pass by this shop because she works at Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit, NJ so we decided to bring the car there and we were absolutely shocked at the quote they gave us. WAY less than the JC shops (yeah all caps). Now my wife's car is back on track and is running smoothly without any leak!! Check these guys out, they'll give you a wow factor and a very reasonable price!! Shout out to the guys! appreciate you guys!!

I spoke to the owner on the phone and she was very nice, even offering me an interview for a job. At the time I was very excited for this. I had originally brought my car in to have the AC inspected because it was blowing hot. I kind of already knew what the issue was because I actively go to school for auto tech. When I went in to pick up the car, the bill was for a coolant flush/recharge, replacing the high pressure line, and there was one more thing I forget. I got to the shop to pick up my car when it was ready, only to look under the hood and see barely any coolant. This was alarming considering I was paying $150 to get the coolant done. When I asked about it, one of the techs said to come back in Monday, and not to tell his boss. (sketchy) I of course got in touch with the woman I spoke to over the phone, and she didnt know what was going on. The high pressure line was also not replaced, which I was paying $250 to have repaired. if i didnt know what to look for, I would not have known that the work that was stated was being done wasnt done. They only replaced the O-rings in the high pressure line. I ended up getting a refund for the coolant, but overall this was a very sketchy and bad experience. This situation is why I don't take my car to someone unless I have been there before and know that they can do solid good work on my car. Also difficult to find as the shop has no sign and is just a single garage.

Mary from Jersey Customz recently inspected a classic 1988 Jeep Cherokee that I was considering for purchase. She travelled an hour each way to perform a very thorough inspection--in the rain. As a former Jeep employee and enthusiast, I felt very comfortable with Mary's expertise, not to mention her enthusiasm! Based on her invaluable and unbiased input, I will be purchasing the 1988 Jeep Cherokee. My only regret is that I live 4 hours away and can't drive that far for regular service!
