I have taken my vehicles here for years. They are always professional and courteous. Twice I have had my car looked at by a dealership and they told me there were problems that would cost an outrageous amount of money. When I took it here they found the problem was something totally different and far less cost. They are very honest and do great work. This is the only place I will take my vehicles, and have recommended them to others who agree. If you need a mechanic, this is the place to go.

This was a gem to be found. I was quoted over 2 thousand in work from Another shop after I got their number, I called and he said for what I REALLY need, he could do for half the cost. Saved me money and I felt Jim was honest and knew what he was talking about. My car is running smooth now! I found MY mechanic! I won't be going anywhere else!

My Xterra was having a 4WD issue and I wanted to take it somewhere small and local. I’d recommend Jim to anyone! He was honest, straight forward, incredibly timely, and kept me informed throughout the day. He took care of my worries, go to him first! Works like a charm now!

I noticed that one of the reviews cited a… “ pompous, rude and ignorant owner”. I’ll say one thing. Jim and his helper are present, I believe, and past race car drivers. They are excellent mechanics and although may not be up in the social graces category, they know what the heck they are doing. You want nice “talkers”, call your bank or insurance agent, they are trained to be nice. Jim and his helper are trained to fix cars, do it well and keep your cost affordable. These guys talk to men like men. Personally, I do not find fault in any way whatsoever in how they portray themselves or conduct their business and I have dealt with mechanics for at least 60 years. I had a faulty fuel pump on my 2000 Lincoln LS which only has 30,000 miles on it. They did the job for half the cost that Bozarth wanted and did it the same day. Dealerships make promises, keep the car in their lot for a couple of days before starting to work on it, keep it in the shop for another day or two while they find parts and you will be lucky to get it back the same week. Incidentally Jim, the owner worked for Lincoln for several years and is no stranger to luxury cars. I also had Jim’s replace the water pump on my Corvette and they did an excellent job and at half the price that Chevrolet wanted. And did it all the day I took it in. Pete S.

Was towed to this shop at my insurance's recommendation. Jim called the next day and very rudely said "I have no interest in working on your vehicle." As the vehicle was inoperable and could not be moved, I was forced to fix it myself in the parking lot. He was angry about that but too inattentive to realize I was out there. The brake hose and bleed work (which he turned down) took me, a novice, 45 minutes. Save yourself from being turned away and go literally anywhere else where you'll be treated with a shred of decency.

First you should know Jim is a GM trained Certified Master Mechanic. I have used him for many years and would go nowhere else. My Jeep and my wife's Mustang are 25 years old and he has never balked about working on them. Also, I have referred at least 20 people to him and never a complaint. Fair prices and excellant work.

Took my Jeep here for a second opinion after I got quoted $2200 for front end work. Jim and the staff were super nice and walked me through what they were looking for while diagnosing the issues the other shop said were there. Ultimately they showed me very clearly that there was nothing wrong with ANY of the parts and saved me over $2K. They could have easily just came back and said some parts were messed up and the bill would be $1000 or something and I would have been greatful and had them fix it, but instead they were totally open and honest. They changed my oil and finished the inspection very quickly and cheaply and I intend to make them my mechanic going forward.

I have had my new car for just under three months. New to me, but still relatively knew entirely since it is a 2017. It has already been back to the dealership twice, first for a AC/heat belt and a right wheel bearing. The dealership got the first issue fixed, but it was back last week due to a loud knocking in my wheel. I left it there for the week until they called me with a guess that it would be a $1200 fix not covered by the new purchase warranty. Unsatisfied by this solution, I began googling good mechanics near me. One that popped up was Jim and Co Auto Services. I called, and Jim answered. He was friendly, helpful, and offered to have me come in and have him check it as he suspected the dealership guess was wrong. Thank goodness for Jim and his decades of experience. Within 24 hours, he and his staff were able to discover that my wheel and tire were loose due to the lug nuts not having previously been tightened properly. So far, this is the only issue and Jim was so helpful and responsive. I will return to Jim’s for any issues in the future, and HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Whether you are looking for a new mechanic, frustrated by dealerships, or tired of being overcharged for bad work at other places, Jim’s is the place for you!!

I have been using Jim to fix my vehicles for over fifteen years now, and I have always been pleased with his work. I came to Jim the first time years ago after Pep Boys tried three times to fix a leaky radiator that they had changed in my Ford Explorer and failed all three times to fix the leak. The “Master Mechanic” was summoned to stop the leak, but not even he could do it. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I got online and researched all of the mechanics in the area on Angie’s List (when it was still a reputable rating service) and found that Jim and Company had extremely high ratings. So, I gave Jim a shot and he got it fixed the first time! I have been with Jim ever since. He has always been honest, straightforward, and reasonable with me. I highly recommend him.

Do not go here for service on your vehicle. We went to get our tire inspected to determine if the wheel bearing needed replaced. It did, as we had expected. Jim then tried to charge over twice the standard rate for the service. When I asked him about this, noting that we already had a quote from another garage that was willing (and spoiler alert, did the service) for half of what he was trying to charge us, he became angry and defensive. He then listed damage and repairs that he noted and was going to fix in addition to the wheel bearing. This “damage” was not detailed in his original assessment. When I decided that I thought the other garage could get the service done for cheaper, Jim told me that was fine but "that I won't look at this car, again." Upon picking up my vehicle, Jim told me that I'd have a hard time "getting even the parts" for as cheap as he quoted. I then took it to the other garage where the service was half the cost. The upstanding garage evaluated the vehicle and found none of the “damage” that Jim cited to upcharge us. The garage did, however, find a tire had a nail in it and was leaking air from the side wall. The tire was not in this condition prior to dropping it off at Jim’s shop. With the additional tire cost, Jim was correct – our total service cost would've been cheaper if we got it done at his shop. The take-aways are: expect to be overcharged and if you question this, there will be additional damage in the original quote that no other garage will find.

Do not bring your car here. Jim is overpriced. He wanted over 400.00 for an ignition coil replacement, a 50.00 part taking minutes to replace. He charged a 140.00 diagnosis fee. When you try to question his pricing he blows up. He is an angry. rude person. I made a big mistake taking a car to him.

High-quality, honest, and a good price! I brought my car in for a full brake job and Jim and Blake were extremely helpful. The job was completed quickly and for a great price. I've always dreaded car mechanics until I found Jim and Co! Definitely recommend.

Don’t bring your cars here. They are overpriced. Extortionists. You know, people seek out these small businesses for peace of mind and reliability. But when you are charging 2x the price of a dealership then YOU are the problem. And this place has dropped the ball for me 3 times. I am done with you. I will be telling everyone I know who needs work done not to come here. Especially those who have been using you for years. You do not deserve their business. So again I strongly advise that you do not come here. Your car will be broke again in a month. Considering they only want to do simple work it’s baffling how bad they can mess up. Maybe with a loss of business they will shape up and start caring about their customers.

Jim and his team are fantastic! The one-hour drive was absolutely worth it. Jim provided an honest assessment of my vehicle and offered a very fair price for the work needed, the best out of four other shops I contacted. Since it's a small shop, I waited at a nearby coffee shop without any issue. I will definitely return for all my future needs. Thanks, Jim and team!

Jim is both a true mechanic and artist. He could fix a 747 if it could fit in his garage.

I had them install brakes on my F150 back in February. I supplied the parts, which they weren’t very happy about, because he wasn’t able to markup the price. They installed BOTH the inboard pads on the driver’s side and BOTH the outboard pads on the passenger side! After the installation I brought to their attention that something wasn’t right, but they just brushed it off. A few months later I had a different shop take a look and discovered the error.

I went to autonation Subaru for recalls and they inspected my vehicle and said I needed a bunch of stuff done so I took it here for a second opinion. Jim lifted my car showed me what they said needed replaced (lca bushings) and explained why they didn’t. He was super nice and gave me great advice. He said not to do the bushings saving me a ton of money he also told me where to get my fluids done and when those actually needed done. He told me what to look out for on my car and more. Amazing guy I absolutely recommend this place. He did all of this for free. This experience gave me confidence that he doesn’t recommend work just to get business but that he’s an honest person that can be trusted with a ton of knowledge.
