I've been taking my Subaru here for years. It's the only auto repair business I've ever fully trusted. They will do a complete maintenance check of your car at every oil change and tell you exactly what you need and even better, what you don't need. They don't try to sell you anything and put no pressure on you at all. They give you the data and their recommendations and let you decide what to do. They've saved me a lot of money over the years because they'll be upfront about whether something needs to be replaced based on its actual condition and not just based on year of vehicle or manufacturer guidelines. I highly recommend Jim's Auto Clinic.

This shop IS NOT to be trusted at all! My girlfriend went to have her vehicle, an Infiniti, looked at and after the $175 diagnostic test they came back stating the issue was a bad starter. We expected to spend 5 or 6 hundred to have the starter replaced but Jerry told her it would cost a whopping $1374 lol. That sounded astronomical so we decided to call another shop close in proximity who had great reviews and guess how much this shop charged us.... only $337 and had it done the same day only two hours later. Shop around before you get any work done at Jim's Auto Clinic, it could save you a lot of money.

Great staff, nice, professional, kind. Loaner car available. Parking lot a little small, so be careful. Apparently they've been around for awhile 😁 They loured me in with coupons! I'm glad I responded to them, THEY ARE GREAT 😃👍

Jim’s Auto Clinic is the best! Not only will they provide a loaner car so you aren’t inconvenienced, they will look over your car and not charge you at all. I have gone here several times and they always provide excellent service and work. If they can’t fix it they will refer you to someone who can. Highly satisfied every time I go there. Will continue to go back with any issues. This business knows how to treat their customers and I appreciate their honesty and business ethic. Highly recommend this business to anyone.

We have gone to Jim's Auto Clinic for over 10 years. Every visit we have had, whether a simple oil change, or as complicated a blown head gasket, they have treated us well and done excellent work! They are happy to explain your issues fully, even to someone who is not into cars. I've never felt talked down to, or left wondering if I'd gotten my money's worth. Everyone is very friendly, and always ready to help.

My father-in-law recommended Jim’s. I was having serious engine issues, and they took me in, provided a loaner car, and got the work done right (and in about 24 hours). Of course it wasn’t cheap (nothing with a car ever is!). But they actually came in $50 below the estimate and offered me a coupon book that helped me save an extra $30-$40. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here and will recommend them to anyone who needs car work done!

Our car was in desperate need for some suspension work as it was becoming more unnerving and potentially unsafe to drive. I'd known about the issues for awhile and wanted to get the work done before the weather began to change. I drove to 4 different shops in the Colerain area to get estimates to better understand the cost of work. The last place I went to was Jim's Auto Clinic. I chose Jim's Auto Clinic because I'd met Mark personally back in July 2020, and I've also had many interactions with Janet since then. These meetings were not related to my car repairs but for something else. Even so, I got to learn much more about the kind of service the team provides their customers and held them in high regard. Moreover, when I asked for the estimate for the work, not only was it well within those I'd obtained elsewhere, but also they were going to accommodate me with a loaner car to use while mine was being repaired. When I returned to pick up the car, the late-afternoon staff was very helpful in making sure I understood the warranties. They also provided me with a new customer gift card toward future work! Our car feels much more sturdy and durable now that the suspension work has been done, and I and my family have a much greater peace of mind when we use it! UPDATE, 10/23/2020: I have never been to an auto repair place that communicates as effectively with car owners as Mark and the team at Jim's Auto Clinic does! It helps me feel informed and reminds me of a relationship with a doctor's office!

Called ahead to see if they had the part to fix my car, they said they had it and it would take a couple hours to fix it. Dropped my car off the next day, not only did it take almost eight hours for a diagnosis, but they didn’t even have the part. Finally they got it fixed and tried to charge me $150 more than I was quoted and for all that my car runs worse. Their service is awful and frankly untrustworthy.

The team at Jim's Auto Clinic has been amazing both times I have recently been there. They for sure have my business going forward. Unfortunately, mechanics get a bad name sometimes these guys were honest and only did the service needed on my vehicle. A special thanks to Jerry for keeping me updated the entire time my vehicle was there. Thanks, Dani Sandlin

Jim’s was one of the only places I could find who had the capability to run diagnostics on my car when the airbag light came on. The dealer was booked 2 months out, but Jim’s got me in within 24 hours. Thankfully, it wasn’t the airbag, but they figured out the problem and got the work done as soon as they got the part. Curt was very friendly, kept me well-informed the whole time, and did an excellent job. Highly recommend!

Guys were absolutely great. Kirk is amazing and so is Jesse. They checked two used cars for me and let me know what was really going on under the hood before i purchased them. To top it off, they did it all free of charge!! Allowed me to find a really good vehicle with very minimal issues to purchase! Got the dealership to agree to replace the issues and got a beautiful car to last me 8-10 years. I recommend these guys to everyone! Thank you very much Kirk!

Had the most amazing experience here !!! . My first visit there and Jerry was the most caring, thoughtful and respectful person I have ever met especially in a mechanic shop lol I would advertise this place all over. Everyone of them are absolutely amazing people and I suggest this place a thousand percent!!! They all made sure that my car was safe before I even pulled it out of their parking lot so not only did he save my pocketbook he saved my life. Thank you to the whole crew. Whoever the owner is he should know that he definitely has one hell of a crew they go above and beyond.

I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. I purchased a new (to me) vehicle and took it to Jim’s for evaluation. I received helpful advice on the maintenance schedule and the timing of tire replacement as well as recommended tires. I can always depend on Jim’s Auto Clinic to do a thorough and timely job. Many thanks!

Overpriced. Brandon did my diagnostic for my 03 Solara. I thought it was a plug issue or a fuel issue and he found the plugs were bad but he didnt put any of the bolts back, he didn't clean out his mess from the car, and had the nerve to charge me nearly 200 bucks for a diagnosis that took him less than an hour and half. You're telling me you're paying these guys almost a 100 an hour and they can't put bolts back? Insane.

Extremely disappointing experience at Jim’s Auto Clinic. I originally brought my car in for a catalytic converter fault code. I specifically asked if they could replace the catalytic converter, but instead, they repaired an exhaust leak—charging me $800. A week later, the same code came back. I was told to bring the car back, and this time they ran a diagnostic using software that cost me another $500. I was instructed to drive 200 miles, and if the code returned, they would replace the catalytic converter. After the 200 miles, the code came back—but instead of replacing the converter, they changed a coil pack (without even calling me for approval), charging another $500 for a repair that’s simple and inexpensive (part costs around $150 and takes minutes to install). After all this, the same original code for the catalytic converter returned—for the fourth time. The issue I brought the vehicle in for still hasn’t been resolved, and I’ve now spent more on repairs than the car is worth. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income, this has been both financially and emotionally exhausting. I would strongly advise others not to take their vehicle here for repairs. After giving Jim’s Auto Clinic one last chance, I dropped my car off for repairs. When Steve called back, he was very unfriendly and refused to work on the vehicle, stating it was because I had previously left a bad review. I explained that I was still experiencing the same issues and specifically mentioned that the turbo oil return line was damaged and leaking oil. Steve dismissed this, saying it could be leaking from anywhere. I then took the vehicle to another reputable shop. They confirmed that the catalytic converter was indeed bad and also found that the turbo oil return line had been damaged during the previous installation done by Jim’s Auto Clinic. It appears this shop only responds to positive reviews and has no interest in resolving issues they cause or diagnosing problems correctly without repeatedly charging more money. As a result, I now have to pay another shop to fix what Jim’s Auto Clinic failed to properly diagnose or repair. I would advise caution before bringing your vehicle here.

I'm new to the west side, so like many others I found this place by reviews online in my local area. And I feel fortunate for putting trust in this specific shop. I typically do most of my own work, but when stranded the middle of the work week, these guys got me back up and running, no annoying pushy sales for additional unnecessary work. Very fairly priced, and I honestly believe they are genuinely trustworthy. One of the first times I've gone to an auto shop and not felt like someone was trying to pull one over on me. Excellent experience, I'm glad guys are in business!
