I went there to get an oil change. I waited for 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES and i even had an appointment...... And they charged me $29. That's almost double what most places in this area charge for an oil change... All the while I am sitting on a bench seat that has been pulled out of a friggin van... and staring at a fold-up banquet table from Walmart and trash and magazines stacked everywhere. Oh How Cute Guys!

Went there this morning because my drivers side window came off inside the door. They looked at it for less than 10 seconds and said the window motor and regulator needed replaced and the parts alone were $600. Plus labor. I absolutely knew for a fact they were lying to me as I could hear the window lift still going up and down when I pushed the button, not to mention when I looked on Advance Auto Parts website, the motor was $35 and the regulator was $9. I took my car elsewhere, and in 5 minutes they put my window back on without replacing anything and charged me $20. Don't go to Jim's, they will no doubt try and rip you off. Shame on them.

These guys at Jim's Tune Up really helped me out with my electrical system. Some car jackers screwed with my electric system. I couldn't drive my SUV with it going crazy so they fixed it. I really appreicate all of them. Hope your black dog is getting better!

I needed an immediate tune-up and coil replacement and called in an spoke to the chief mechanic- Larry. He was extremely friendly,helpful,and knowledgeable. He said it was about a day in a half lead time to repair my car and was true to his word. The fees were way more reasonable than the dealership I go to ( Lynch Ford Mount Vernon IA). And the lead time for the repair a week shorter and Larry was way more knowledgeable than the young service advisors at Lynch Ford. So if you want a fair deal plus business integrity steer yourself over to Jim's Tune Up Service!
